About 2 miles as a crow flies from Lost Maples State Park. You drive through a 13,000-acre ranch to get to us. We are at the end of a dead-end road with one way in and one way out. NO FISHING As our topo map shows we have a wide variety of terrain ranging from steep cliffs with huge views to shady canyons. The river cuts through the middle of the place and is surrounded by four hills that each have their unique characteristics ranging from flat oak-covered to rocky steep ridges. I guarantee you will find beauty all around. We do have a couple of fun areas to try your 4-wheel drive out. Please dont make your own....stay on trails. There are plenty of places to swim. When the Ladder is reserved, you may not swim there. Please be respectful. We have 1.5 miles of both sides of the river so plenty of places to swim. It varies a lot in depth and width over the ranch. Every camp spot has access to all the swimming holes except the ladder when it is booked. The main swimming holes are-- 1. Below the Green Cabin 2. We are located less than 2 miles from Bandera City Park! At this time, all sites are completely dry. We do have porta-potties available. RV sites are boondocking only (no water or electric at this time.) Guests may stay at Memmie’s Farm for a maximum of 6 consecutive nights. Our slice of land on the Medina River is truly gorgeous! There are beautiful cypress trees that are magical year round, and there are often small rapids. If relaxing in the shade by the river and dipping your feet in is your thing, our property is perfect for that! However, this is not a swimming hole. The Medina River is generally not considered safe in Bandera, TX, due to consistent low flow. Swim at your own risk.

This site is suited to tent camping, car camping and small RV "dry camping". There is relative privacy, hopefully starry nights and campfire provisions. Guests share a pasture with livestock and wildlife. Weather in all its variations is part of camping. If you are not prepared to deal with whatever the weather may be, you should consider another option. We encourage guests to research this destination before booking, carefully review our cancellation policy, and consider buying travel insurance to protect against unexpected travel disruptions. Weather conditions are not an acceptable reason for a refund or change of reservation for this campsite. Cellular service is limited here. AT&T provides a good signal in this area. HOWEVER **** SPRINT, VERIZON and T-MOBILE may have “VERY POOR” or “NONEXISTENT” cellular signals at this site. We have neighbors, and although the place is relatively large, and we don't anticipate a problem, there is no guarantee that you will not be bothered by some kind of noise. Observe quiet time after 9 pm and before 8 am. The country roads in this area are paved and they are excellent for walking, bicycling and driving. There are “cattle guards” in the roadways. Cattle guards are steel pipe obstacles along a road intended to prevent livestock, such as sheep and cattle from passing out of a fenced area. If you book this property you will be able to check yourself in at the property. It was such a nice little getaway, very quiet and peaceful. Definitely the perfect glamping experience. The cabins were very well kept and we loved the communal kitchen, everything was great quality. Also, the amenities of having the pool and and the sauna available was nice!

Travis was really nice and very accommodating. My daughter and granddaughter wanted to go camping but I found this place and it was a nice balance. The AC worked well and the cabins were cozy. He has canoes and a paddle boat. We started a fire in the fire pit and sat around the fire talking. We will be returning.

Weekend Trip to Calm Water Cove

We loved our stay at Dave’s property! The airstream was very cute and comfortable and the lakefront property was gorgeous and felt very private. Dave was very kind and responsive and left a few amenities like paddle boards and firewood for us to enjoy during our stay. We had an amazing camping experience! The campsite was incredibly private and secluded, surrounded by beautiful trees that made us feel like we had our own little piece of nature. It was peaceful, quiet, and the perfect place to relax and disconnect. One of the highlights of our stay was spending the evening looking up at the beautiful night sky. It was such a special experience and gave us the opportunity to create wonderful memories together as a family. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway in nature, we highly recommend this campground!

We had a great time glamping at Daniel’s campsite! The AC came in clutch and so did the generous shade around the site. We would recommend some bug spray as the mosquitos were a bit aggressive in the mornings and evenings. 15 minutes to lampasas, 22 minutes to Colorado bend. We would stay here again.
