My fiancé and I had a great time staying in the airstream! The airstream was roomy and the bed was super comfortable. Landers has just about everything you could need on a relaxing get away. The outdoor shower was somewhat close to the other site but we felt that we had privacy during our time there. We loved getting to watch the ducks and love on the dogs on the property!
OMG! Highly recommended!! This place is very peaceful and relaxing... Overall you feel the positive vibes most definitely will be back.!! The host very nice, asked if we needed anything for the most part appreciate the whole stay.

Tamara and Landers were great hosts, very welcoming, friendly and cool people. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the modern airstream. It was a nice getaway from downtown Austin. We also managed to cook steak over the cauldron that Tamara kindly helped us set up. Would definitely come back again if we have the chance!

Modern Retreat
The place was great! The gated area was huge, plenty of room for the dogs to play fetch and chase each other around. Airstream has everything you need. Hosts were super accommodating, let us borrow salt and butter which we had forgotten. We would definitely stay here again!
Ultimate dog family getaway! Completely fenced in yard, no holes. My boys (dogs) loved the sound of nature out there and enjoyed the freedom of just roaming around. This is our second visit on this property and we will definitely be back again. The hosts are wonderful and easy to communicate with. The property is lovely and easy to navigate. We can’t wait to come back! Thank y’all so much!
We had a great experience. Landers was very accommodating and helpful. Although people were close by, everyone kept to themselves, and the campsite still felt private. His two dogs were so sweet and respectful to our two dogs (and us!). We would absolutely stay here again :)

Perfect weekend getaway from apartment living! Plenty of privacy and an enclosed gate so our pup could wander while we made a campfire. Hot tub was such a wonderful treat, all water was temperature controlled and easy to use, compost toilet was clean, the bed was sooo comfy and grilling/cooking amenities were plentiful w/ options! Landers was an excellent host with clear direction and quick communication. This place is in an excellent location for travelers or those just looking for a nearby weekend retreat. Very safe. Love the ducklings on site. We look forward to visiting again very soon.
We booked for the thanksgiving holiday. I can’t say I could recommend this place to anyone. Here are SOME problems we encountered: 1) the host said we would be met onsite upon arrival by the co-host who lived on property (she didn’t arrive for almost two hours). 2) the host told us via chat upon arrival the water would be on and the keys would be hanging inside (they were not). 3) the host told us via chat upon arrival we would have a manual for the property onsite (we did not). 4) per the listing clean sheets were to on the bed the bed was made but upon inspection (they were dirty and stained with what appeared to be blood). 5) per the listing plates and cooking utensils were supposed to be onsite. (we had a total of one bowl in the camper and no plates). 6) when the cohost arrived (about an hour and a half after our arrival) we asked for plates and a pot to cook in —she gave us dirty/ food stained plates and a pot which we had to clean ourselves 7) per the listing, it does NOT mention that a train track is very close by (we heard the blaring train horn at least 7 times overnight and twice in the morning before we ultimately left due to all the inconveniences) 8) when we mentioned these issues to the host he was apologetic, but let us know that the cohost who is onsite is loosing her cognitive abilities. (Wile this is very sad and unfortunate, it also explains a lot about the issues encountered). The train noise is mentioned only in the electronic pdf they send upon arrival…
Absolutely everything is what you would expect. This was an oasis hidden in an unexpected place. I came for solitude and a menu for each meal, just to toss is out of the window and explored the eateries within distance (thanks Tamara!). I will definitely be back with the family and more, I want everyone to know, this is a place of peace and freedom. This place is a must and will be a future destination for all stay-cations in our family. Thank you Landers and Tamara for a wonderful stay!
Tamara was an amazing host and the property is outstanding. Perfect little weekend getaway. 1/4 mile from an awesome Mexican restaurant, dog park, and awesome timeless saloon. The property itself was secluded and felt very private. We very much so enjoyed our time here
First thing first, since this is about getaway, this place is not too far from the city, but definitely gets you out from the city. In the middle of nature, you can see deers, lizards, ducks, and lot more.
The place is very cute and my wife and I loved being here for 2 nights.
The host is very caring, she lives on the site and she helped us with anything she could do to make our stay feel better.
I recommend this place to anyone looking for a getaway not too far from Austin, I am planning to come back with my daughter next time.

Vintage Retreat
I stayed with my fiancée and pup at the Vintage Airstream Retreat and everything was perfect! The property and camper are decorated beautifully, and Landers was super accommodating, even bringing over tools to help get a campfire started. Would definitely stay here again! Thanks Landers!

Vintage Retreat
Perfect spot for a little Austin getaway. We brought our dog along and found 3 places nearby that had music, dog parks, and beer! Close to Lake Travis for a day getaway to the lake. We did Jessica Hollis Park. The airstream had everything you could think of. Even a little speaker to take with us to the lake! The bed was comfy and it fit myself and my 6ft partner. Landers was very accommodating. We will definitely be returning for another weekend there.
A wonder full little corner of Texas! Highly recommended! We enjoy our stay and enjoy the hot tub! Beautiful place and well equipped! Great host
Everything was perfect.. just what I was looking for ..some peace and comfort away from the city .. couldn't have asked for a better host everyone was great!! and the peacefulness privacy was amazing.. thank you for everything..we will be back soon

Vintage Retreat
Absolutely gorgeous property and the host is one of the most helpful people I've met. The fenced in area was great for my dogs to enjoy the camp with me. Just one of the coolest places to stay.
Super communicative, went out of his way multiple times to make a fire for us, beautiful relaxing space to get away! Could not reccomend more. TON OF CHARACTER in the airstream. If you’re on the fence about where to stay- this is the place!

Amazing place, close to hiking. We really enjoyed spending time with the owner and spending time in the swim spa. The airstream had everything we could have needed and the bed was very comfortable.

Landers' Hipcamp was a wonderful, restful respite from the hustle and bustle of Austin! The Airstream Bambi was so comfortable to sleep and relax in, and the property surrounding it invites peacefulness. We loved having the dogs around too! This will be my first choice when I return to Austin 👍 Thanks Landers!
