The highest elevation is 1600'. You can locate us on Google Earth by searching for Dooley Wahl Rd Llano, Texas. We have secluded camping available. Primitive tent camping, or if you want to go glamping you can bring an RV with a generator and be even more secluded but still have the comfortable amenities of an RV. IF YOU DON'T HAVE AN RV...no worries! Contact outdoorsy.com. you can rent an RV. They will deliver it, set it up and pick it up. Remember to ask for a generator. You don't have to bring wood. Maggi’s, Ranch is stunning, filled full of beautiful animals. And the stars at night were simply amazing. The hosts did everything to make her stay comfortable, from guiding us into our spot. Setting us up with a campfire and letting us know about activities. Would definitely recommend!

We loved tent camping on Chris’ land! The amenities were excellent (electric, water, shade) and they had recently installed a nearby toilet and shower with hot water. Water access and hiking access made for great afternoon activities. Our dogs had a great time too. Thank you Hill Country Escape!

Surrounded by hill country nature. On a lovely lil creek . Listen to the Grape Creek critters where the coyotes sing you to sleep ! This is a perfect for a kicked back getaway. It's a working ranch so you'll hear Bossy cow and the gang casually chatting. As they're chewing the cud. Equipped with a comfortable seating area . An outdoor shower , water and electric. Catch and release fishing. Tons of birds and a gaggle of turkeys across the way. A friendly host with a welcoming smile . A grill , fire ring , tons of shade and couple of turtles for neighbors. We were at site 1 . I would advise a canoe or kayak for fishing as the water lillies are thick . Our stay was completely enjoyable and we look forward to the next visit !

1 night at Rasco River Rentals

Really nice campsite. Clean and easy accessibility to the river. The river crossing was closed and there was no mention of that during booking. It was a bit concerning when we reached the passing and had no cell signal. We had to walk in the river and realize it was ankle deep and passed along side the closed bridge with the car and drove through the river water. Would recommend. Lots of fun and nice to relax in the river.

Another great stay at this camp ground. Every time I stay here they are very friendly and the camp sites are pretty good. They have a few tent spots with great tree coverage, and the others tend to have covered picnic tables for shade. Guests stick to quiet hours, and overall just a nice quiet time.

We had a wonderful time! The only issue we had was a dog that got loose and then the same dog barking all night or second night. We are already planning a family camping trip at this location in the near future.

Rebecca Creek Campgrounds was a pleasure to stay at. The staff was pleasant, and very nice. There was plenty of tent sites to reserve. (Note: there are also cabins, but I did not stay in one.) People were quiet. Each site has a picnic table as well as a fire ring. (Didn't get to use the fire ring this weekend due to high winds and a burn ban, but that is how things go right? ) Just a heads up for people who are used to camping at say a State Park, the restrooms are porta-potties that are clean, and although they do have a shower house I did not use it. All in all a perfectly relaxing weekend at a nice camp site for a great price! I will be returning!

Just spent this weekend out at Chris's spot. As much as i'd like to keep this spot a secret, i definitely want others to experience how awesome this place is. Chris and crew were very welcoming and the site is absolutely incredible. If you like to fish, you would love this spot. If you don't you would still love this spot. Very quiet and very clean. I'll definitely be booking this spot again in the future.

Site was safe and the covered cabana along with electricity at the site were very handy. I’m pretty self contained in my vehicle and it worked well for that set up. The location is very mixed use…from full time residents to overnight guests in anything from tents, to a/c rooms and rvs. It was a little more off the beaten path than I realized, so a bit of a drive to any stores or services. Check in was simple and easy.

It’s a beautiful camp ground, there’s plenty of power and water. The creek by the camp ground was dry, unfortunately. We took a big party out there for two nights and all went well. There are bathrooms with flushing toilets and hot showers. There are portos placed around too for when the bathrooms are too far. The Porto’s were kept well. Plenty of trails to get around, it’s a beautiful spot.
