Only one con: We were not told that the attached shower room was shared by the entire campground (there are tent/rv sites around the pond), so we left our things in there. One of the friendly campers brought our stuff to us. Also the shower never got hot, FYI, but the little heater in there was great.
We so enjoyed our stay and wish it could have been longer.

My boyfriend and I loved staying at this cabin site. The pond across the way was very beautiful. It was raining a lot during our stay here so we didn’t get to try the boats, but they look like fun! I can hardly express just how amazing our little vacation at Deer Camp was. My wife and I were blown away by the cozy and welcoming atmosphere we walked into. The photos on the website hardly did it any justice for just how truly wonderful our stay was. We had planned to explore the area, but instead spent our time at the cabin for our entire stay. Mitch and Lori were fantastic hosts and we can’t thank them enough for the care and love they clearly put into the place. They really went the extra mile to stock the place with everything you need and more. My wife and I are already planning our next visit!

The place was amazing! Everything you need in a camp site. The fire pit and picnic table were just right for meal time and roasting marshmallows. The outhouse was a nice feature for the ladies on the trip. The shelter really came in handy the last morning since it was raining. This place is for sure on our list of places to camp at again. Grant and his wife were wonderful hosts and offer several amenities that my girlfriend and I both said we’ll be back to enjoy someday. The glamp tent setup is truly breathtaking a great in between roughing it and glamorous camping. Grant took the time to make sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. For people thinking about this trip, I would say be sure to bring some steaks and charcoal to put on the rocket grill! It’s a really cool piece and cooks a steak to perfection. Other than that, flashlights are a plus as it gets dark early in the winter and there isn’t much lighting outside of the tent. Don’t forget to bring something fun to do around the campfire too since there’s a really cool
Rock pit a couple steps outside the tent. S’mores, music, campfire songs, and games. You’ll want to find ways to be outside the tent if you’re like us. Speaking of, there are so many cool things to do outside of the camp! Grant gave us several awesome destinations to visit before we left and we got to each of them! All exceeded our expectations. From food, to sites, to sounds! I’d encourage everyone to explore Tracy city, Monteagle, and even Nashville is only an hour and a half away!

We loved the private cabin that we were in and there's another nearby camp area but there was no one there so we had the space for ourselves. We would definitely recommend anyone to go and the owner was able to let us take our dog somewhat last minute so that was really nice. The owner answer our messages before and while we stayed in cabin so that was really nice. The cabin was clean and organized before we got there and we had had no issues finding the cabin.

Weekend Trip to The Falls at Sewanee Creek
My boyfriend and I stayed for 2 nights on grants trampoline tent and it was such a different but beautiful experience, the tent area was very nicely set up, being able to hear the creek while going to sleep or just sitting by the fire was also very relaxing. Only downside was that it was extremely cold, I would highly recommend bringing an air mattress, sleeping bags, and lots of blankets to keep you warm. We went November 28th-30th. Grant and his wife were also out of town but they were still very helpful and sweet, they explained everything we needed to know about the area and gave us some trails to check out. Everything was beautiful and I highly recommend staying.

Another great trip to the Cove! For anyone who comes right after us, we set up your first fire logs in the firepit. We brought our own firewood but you’ll find enough logs in the wood crib to do about two fires, plus the giant stumps that are great to prolong the fire if you can get one going. George also has a bale of pine straw in there which is super helpful to get a fire started. My whole review is about fires, can you tell it was cold while we were there haha! Saw several deer and hawks. Lots of stars and quiet.

I loved my experience at the little barn house! The cabin itself was very cute, and the atmosphere was peaceful for a solo trip to escape city life. Jon was fabulous and incredibly helpful when I was needing some support. It was fun to have some animals nearby too, though hunting season is real, so something to keep in mind. Overall I am super grateful for my experience and would recommend it for anyone looking for a little getaway.

We only stayed one night at the tent but loved every minute! Grant called before we arrived to give us directions to the site so we would be prepared when we arrived in the dark. Everything was easy to find, just as he said. The trampoline was more comfortable than we expected! Bring extra towels in case of condensation. The area under the trampoline was perfect for food prep and hanging out. Above all, the waterfall was BEAUTIFUL! The short “hike” from the tent to the falls was easy for us and our German Shepherd to navigate. We had a wonderful time- can’t wait to return!
