Very peaceful
Built to perfection! Extremely private and peaceful! We saw deer running across the woods 💛💛. We were provided wood and refreshments along with all the necessities to have a great time!

We had a great time at Deer Camp! This place does not disappoint. Every detail was so carefully thought out and we enjoyed everything this place has to offer. We had read a lot of the reviews prior to booking and they all proved to be true. It is a magical place from the moment you arrive. You smell the incredible campfire already going for you upon arrival with the lighting and decor creating a beautiful ambiance. My husband loved the homemade brownies and I loved the outdoor movie theater and we both enjoyed hanging out by the fire. The hosts were incredible and very prompt to respond to any needs. We will definitely plan to go back!

Deer camp was a fantastic end to our honeymoon! Took all of the hard work out of camping while keeping up the spirit and feel of it! All the amenities were clean and had just about anything you forgot, including wonderful complimentary snacks and drinks. It was a great experience!

Romantic getaway for 2
We absolutely LOVED deer camp. Everything about it was perfect. The decor, hot showers, complementary drinks and snacks, outdoor "cinema", hammock swings (I fell asleep watching a movie it was so comfy) and the guinea fowl running around the campsite in the morning. We will definitely recommend this spot to our friends

Most magical getaway
Deer Camp was absolute heaven! We went for me and my fiancés birthdays in October, just a short getaway. Lori and Mitch asked us before what time we would be arriving. By the time we got there, the fire pit looked as if it was lit seconds before we arrived so that it would be perfectly ready for us (do awesome). There was a birthday banner that was hanging in the room as well as a dish of homemade brownies! We felt so welcomed immediately. The movie theatre was where we spent 90% of our time watching Halloween movies in the hammocks. We enjoyed the popcorn and hot cocoa provided along with blankets for the theatre. The lights and the fire pit in front of the hammocks was such a cozy touch. The bathroom was so nice it made us want one just like it! The shower was really relaxing and comfortable. The entire bedroom was very clean and we slept so well on the bed. We loved that there was a small fireplace in the room as well AC. The temperature was perfect we almost didn’t need blankets. There is a small kitchenette outside of the room on the porch with a small stove and there are plenty of tools to help you cook. They provided us with everything we could possibly leave. We would highly recommend staying here.

Glamping at Deer Camp
Absolutely perfect
Deer camp is so perfectly cozy. Lori has provided such a wonderful experience. From the cabin to the bathhouse, the fire pit to the hammock chairs by the projector everything was so thought out. All the little touches provided such a wonderful experience. My wife and I stayed 2 nights and we wish we could have stayed longer. I would definitely recommend staying at Deer Camp.

Five Star Forest Hospitality
The lovely hosts at Deer Camp thought of every detail -- there was a merry campfire waiting for us on arrival, a cheat of ice loaded with cokes in classic glass bottles, everything we needed at hand -- even brownies and a little banner because I mentioned on booking that we were celebrating my father's birthday. The bathhouse is a delight with peace lilies and other plants around the shower area and a piping hot stove to keep things cozy while you attend to your toilette. The outdoor movie theater was such a treat, especially with the cute gas fireplace and a picnic basket of movie goodies like popcorn, blankets, and mugs of hot chocolate mix with marshmallows. We could not believe the attention to detail and thoughtfulness of our hosts, from the Hardy Boys books in the cabin to the clothesline on the porch to the clever guidebook explaining how all the stoves and things operate. We already can't wait to return and are telling everyone we know about this gem super close to Fall Creek Falls and Savage Gulf

Really enjoyed our stay. Perfect for a one night getaway for some decompression time and relaxation in the woods. Literally everything you could need is provided from hygiene products to cooking supplies. Will be staying here again in the future.

35th Wedding Anniversary Trip
We chose to spend our 35th anniversary at Deer Camp and were not disappointed. Lori had a bottle of wine waiting for us as well as a roaring fire in the fire pit. The place is awesome and exceeded our expectations! Highly recommend a stay here.

Very helpful
Lori was very accommodating. Unfortunately we made reservations for a time that heavy rains from a hurricane happened to be coming through. When we got there, they had a fire going for us even though it was raining. Was able to keep it going all night. We made the best of the rain by sitting underneath the cottage watching football and a good movies. Would definitely recommend and will be back! Love to get my non-camping wife outdoors :)

Wonderful week at Deer Camp!
We had a great week at Deer Camp. The treehouse was just as described and the bath house was adorable! We hiked, saw the sights, and cooked breakfast and dinner in the kitchen and by the fire. This really is a magical place to stay!

WOW, this place is GREAT!
We pulled up to beautiful camp site with a fire lit! It was truly a joy to step into the cabin and explore all the amenities that made our stay so pleasurable. The shower/bath house is beautiful and again, just felt like a luxury I never expected to have while camping! The fire warmed the room, hearing the rain on the roof, the hot water on demand system all made taking a shower extra special! This is an experience that everyone should have, it is really beautiful and was a wonderful way for my husband and I to celebrate our wedding anniversary.

Amazing experience
We were visiting for our anniversary. We were looking for quiet and relaxation without losing modern-day conveniences. This was the perfect balance. Lori has gone out of her way to assure a private glamping experience to make you fell like you are at home away from home. The outdoor kitchen is well stocked and set up for easy use. Anything you may have forgotten she had probably thought if it. We will definitely be visiting again.

Hospitality x 10!
Wow! They had a fire going in the outside fire pit, two chairs pulled up to the fire, a box of "movie night" goodies, the place was stocked with whatever you might have forgotten, plus it's a fun design and a relaxing space with plenty to do in the area (we visited Stone door (fantastic!) and Fall creek falls (crowded). We will be back.

OK, you see the photos of Deer Camp - looks pretty unbelievable. You read the rave reviews - sounds too good to be true. So you reserve a night or two and show up at Deer Camp with high expectations for what it will be like.
Get ready.
Your expectations are an order of magnitude TOO LOW!
This was simply a magical experience that we will always remember and look forward to repeating. Mitch and Lori have set the bar so high you simply have to experience it. In this world where anticipointment is rampant, Deer Camp not only delivers, but goes beyond what you even thought you wanted or expected.
Five Stars? Nope.
The. Whole. Galaxy.
Yes, it is simply that good.

Absolute perfection! This is the perfect getaway, seclusion with modern conveniences. The hosts have thought of every detail, down to a lit campfire upon arrival, the ice chest waiting with cold Cokes and a “movie box” with blankets, remotes, popcorn and hot chocolate!

Glamping at its finest!
Deer Camp is phenomenal. If you are looking for a one of a kind experience- do not even hesitate to book this stay. You will fall in love with it! I booked this as a surprise birthday trip for my boyfriend, and he was blown away. Best birthday surprise ever, he said! This treehouse brings together the best elements for a trip you’ll never forget, everything in the cabin and on site is so thoughtful! The cabin is a work of art, truly. I-spy games for hours with all of the decor. And wow, it will make you want your own outdoor bathhouse, that’s for sure. Definitely recommend arriving at check in so you can enjoy it as long as possible! This place feels so genuinely happy, like home away from home. It is a gem! And big thank you’s to Mitch and Lori for the thoughtfulness of the brownies and the birthday banner!! It was all so perfect!
