3 nights at Covenant View Camp and Retreat

Fantastic hosts that were friendly, helpful and have a great camping location halfway between Lookout Mountain and Cloudland Canyon. The RV was clean, in good working condition and with fantastic views of the mountains with Covenant College at the top. Lots of space to explore and they had Kayaks and bikes for use. Other campsites with tents set up and plenty of firewood. Looking forward to my next visit.

2 nights at Glamping at Deer Camp Cabin

This is a great place to get away in any type of weather! An air conditioner is available for hot, muggy days and there are propane heaters for cold weather. It is a quiet and secluded place in the woods where you can relax and enjoy nature. Lori has thought of everything you might need, so bring your food and clothes and enjoy!

Weekend Trip to Greeter Falls Campground

We stayed in yurt #21 during our weekend visit and we loved it. The area was nice and clean including the bathrooms. The only negative would be that the yurts are too close together and if you get some loud neighbors like we did on our last night then it can get annoying 😑 but overall we enjoyed our stay😊

We had an amazing stay! We cannot say enough good things about the warm welcome and hospitality we received. Our site was absolutely peaceful and beautiful. Hearing the waterfall at night, mixed with seeing all the fireflies, was magical. We will definitely be back!

I loved every aspect of the Millers area! We stayed in the eco container but I truly can’t wait to go back and try some of the other unique and one of a kind spaces he built in other areas of their property! We also did the welding class and walked away with a truly special piece of art. 10/10 recommend!!!

Weekend Trip to The Private Reserve Cabin + RV Pad

We stayed at the cabin for two nights and really enjoyed it. It’s small and quaint, but very functional and comfortable. It had pretty much everything we needed, which was great in case we forgot to pack anything. The central heat and air were a nice surprise and made the space feel just right. The hot tub was definitely a plus—perfect for winding down in the evening. Even though the cabin is in a small town, there are still things to do nearby. Foster Falls is only about 15 minutes away and a great spot to get outside and enjoy nature. Overall, a peaceful and easy place to stay.

Weekend Trip to Farm @ Chickamauga Battlefield

Taylor was a courteous and wonderful host! He greeted us when we arrived and showed us around the farm. We were also greeted by Talia the big fluffy dog. She was so sweet and gentle. We enjoyed the two night stay in the Yurt which was charming and comfortable, and we had fun throwing axes at the throwing station. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan on returning in the Fall.

Weekend Trip to The Falls at Sewanee Creek

Our camping getaway was just what we needed at the Treetent campsite! The directions take you to Grant's house to get check in. He was so kind and welcoming! He led us to our site, and gave us great information and tips to enjoy our stay. Our tent was roomy, clean, and dry. The area had received some rain recently, and he made certain that everything was in order for us. We had some shared shower facilities with the site across from us. The guests at that site did not impact our stay at all. The creek was beautiful and the sound lulled us to sleep. We had a fire pit as well as a BBQ grill for cooking. Our sitting area was covered and shaded beneath the treetent. We walked less than 10 minutes following the creek to Miller's Falls which was beautiful! We also caught the sunset at the fairy trees. The mist filled the woods quickly after sunset. Checkout was quick and easy! We plan on camping here again!

The treehouse is very private, the sound of the waterfall was nice to enjoy when sitting on the back porch, you can’t see the waterfall from the treehouse, but you can hike down to it. The AC and shower in the treehouse are great

I literally don't think I can say enough nice words about this place. Firstly, Grant and Becky are the sweetest, friendliest, most homely couple I've met. They made us feel so comfortable and we could've stayed and talked to them all night. The cabin was well kept and clean. The bed was super comfortable, the kitchen was fully stocked so you can cook or grill, and they more recently added a TV with wifi for those working from home. There also were dvds and board games available which is such a nice touch for when the weather is bad or you're just trying to relax off grid. The property has a beautiful waterfall nearby! Probably less than a quarter mile from the cabin. You can even walk behind the waterfall or head downstream across some rocks to a second waterfall. It's slightly challenging because of the wet rocks but so so worth the short hike! You must ask Grant about the fairy trees, too. Such a cute, heartwarming story! I unfortunately didn't get a chance to head to the lookout point where the fairies live, and bioluminescence lights up the sky because of the rain, but I definitely will be coming back in the future to check this out.

My husband and I booked The Glamper for our Honeymoon and it was perfect! We were right next to the waterfall and could see it from the yurt! There is a lot to do in the area. Tons of waterfalls and places to hike! I definitely loved being able to unplug. Take a dip in the waterfalls, go to the nearby bakery and admire The Lords Creation!

Grant and Becky’s place was simply AMAZING. Most of the property had some type of alternative style bungalow. The waterfalls, the fairy Forrest, the trails. It was all beautiful. We stood in the treehouse for two nights and had an outstanding time. Highly recommend. Grant has some crazy stories if you get around to talking to him for a while.

This property was purchased by my husband and I in 1980 from Margret Cetera mother of Peter Cetera lead singer of the band Chicago. When purchased the home was a small non descript cottage with a pole barn in the back field. It has grown to support grape, blackberry and muscedime vines.The original home has expanded through time and around 20 years ago, the pole barn was converted into a large 1200 square foot cabin with modern conveniences. My husband and I actually enjoyed living full time in the cabin for a period of 5 years before returning to reside in the main house. The cabin consists of 1 large common space room with sitting area and kitchen. The antique farm sink has hot and cold running water. Also available is a large refrigerator, toaster, microwave oven, hot plate, coffee pot and portable dishwasher. Most of the roads are accessible in any small car, but some roads require 4x4 (they're marked with a sign). We have a bath house with toilets, showers, and sinks and even offer hot water! Our well and cabins are all solar powered as we are not on the electric grid. Some info about the property: -we DO NOT have water or power hookups -we have gravel roads with a 5 MPH speed limit on the property (if you drive too fast the roads will seem rough) -we are right next to a highway and train tracks so there will be some noise (some days are better than others and we have no way of predicting how many trains will/will not go by) -none of our campsites have picnic tables (please plan accordingly) -most campsites have fire rings built, but if you choose a site without one you need to build your own
