At the edge of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park about 15-20 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg and convenient to two National Park entrances and walking distance to the Maddron Bald hiking trail. Walking distance to an Organic coffee house. Situated on a small private quiet (no road noise) campground with a small creek in the "holler" with remnants of moonshine stills from the 30's. Two national park entrances (Cosby Campground and Greenbrier) with lots of hiking within 10 minutes. While creekside is not as close to a creek as intended, and not as secluded as some places, it was a very nice and quiet stay. We had a need for an inexpensive site along our route and creek side fit the bill. The host was absolute incredible, and there is a cabin on site that we were allowed to use. I’m not sure if it’s regularly part of the stay though.

Tim was an excellent host, kept us well stocked with firewood and the airstream had everything in it we needed. Beautiful spot for campfires and starlight. This is the perfect spot to stay for visiting the smokes, pigeon forge, Gatlinburg, etc. We were within an hour drive of everything we wanted to do. We even extended our stay by another day. We will be back.

This place was perfect. 4 of us fit perfect and had plenty of room around our RV for games and our belongings. Tim was great and responsive. He stopped by a few times to make sure we knew what was available for us on the property and to make sure we were all set. He was very accommodating to our check in and check out process. He even allowed us to take our time leaving because no one was staying after us. We ended up leaving on time but it was very kind he gave us this option. RV was in great condition and was perfect for us. Water spigots in multiple spots and plenty of firewood pre cut for us to use all weekend. Would definitely stay again and will be recommending to anyone we know.

We had a great time camping with friends at Shaded Creek RV Hookups! The kids enjoyed playing in the field, biking around the field, talking to the pig and playing in the creek. We had a great time gathering around the fire pit (thanks to Robert for providing wood!!), and it was great to be able to get into Tellico so easily. We tubed on the river and explore Baby Falls and Bald River Falls. We also got treats from the Tellico Grains Bakery and ice cream treats at the Tellico Beach Drive In. A perfect Labor Day weekend!

Cool spot that was close to so many things! The camper had everything we needed and was a cozy spot to rest for the weekend. It did smell a bit dingy/musty, but I think that's what you get when staying in an old camper :) It didn't negatively effect our stay and we would definitely stay here again. We enjoyed having the ability to sit by the fire and not stress about gathering/chopping wood. We were able to light the fire, sit back, and enjoy. There is a coffee/book shop within walking distance of the camper that sells amazing coffee and has a huge variety of books/gift items! If you go, ask the owner about the nightmares and nausea t-shirts lol

We’ve stayed on Robert’s land several times and it was always very quiet and pleasant. It’s a beautiful setting. Couldn’t ask for better hosts. Extremely accommodating and friendly. They have a pet hog named Sadie on the property that just adds to the charm. An all around wonderful experience!

We returned once again to Shaded Creek RV hook ups- This is now officially our favorite place for camping in TN! Here’s what we love: It’s perfectly serene and peaceful, even though it is pretty close to downtown Tellico Plains. It is so picturesque and lovely, with a cool, clear creek, rope swings, a fire pit, and table and benches. The hosts are always generous, kind, and gracious. Booking is very easy, and Robert is excellent at communicating with his guests. We always enjoy our stays here and look forward to returning.
