Nice spot, quiet and remote. Close to the Smokies. Recommend 4wd. Host was a good guy.

This site has no flat ground to put a tent on and is an active hunting property. There was a blind set up and field corn thrown out trying to lure animals to the site. Felt really unsafe considering we were supposed to camp where animals are trained to know there’s food. We left immediately and never stayed the night.

Great spot. Very private and safe. I didn't see a fire ring or picnic table in our spot like in some of the pictures. Maybe there is more than one spot. The host was very kind. Would stay agian.

This was a great spot to camp. It was private, secluded, and well-maintained, yet it wasn't actually that far away from civilization. There is a nice big, flat area with no trees, so you can put your tent where you'd like, or fit many campers into the space. There was some wildlife of course, but nobody bothered us. Lots of sky to stargaze. The hosts were very responsive- we ran out of firewood before our trip was through and they brought more not long after we asked (even the young grandkids helped!). There is decent cell signal, and you could probably set up internet access, but that's not why we were there. We didn't stray too far from the actual campsite, but it seemed like there was lots of land to explore.
All in all, we had a great stay, and will definitely book this spot again.

The cove is an amazing, spacious, level site. Good sunlight all day but with decent shade in the far corner most of the day. There are active bear trails around the property but none bothered us or our site, be smart with food and odors! Loads of swallowtail butterflies and many bats in the evening. Lovely site 10/10!

Great private spot 👌 this was our second time at this site. It was a little wet and mushy as the host warned us however that didn't stop us. We camped in the bed of the pickup always so this didn't bother us. Should he dryer as the summer months get closer. During the night we heard many owls all around. We used this as our camp during our hikes in the GSMNP during the day. Awesome spot!!

We enjoyed staying with Steven and Paulette. The campsite was very remote,secluded, and very peaceful. The site was very well kept. Our hosts were hospitable and gracious. We would recommend them to stay with for anyone coming to their area

Camping here was amazing ! Steve gave us half a dozen eggs from his farm each morning and they were delicious btw. The camp site was clean and had a fire pit and a picnic table. There was also a shady spot to put the tent and plenty of room to put our big car while still leaving PLENTY of space to roam. There was also a cute pond with in walking distance from the site to go listen to nature. Will definitely come back if in Tennessee again!

Steven was prompt with email communication. He took me to the camp site and offered fresh eggs for breakfast. Great secluded campsite. I highly recommend Bear Den.

This was a super quiet spot and couldn't get more private. No sounds but wildlife for us. Picnic table and fire ring. Host was very nice and welcoming! Highly recommend.

Such an amazing space! Private and full of peaceful moments. Steven is an amazing host with big plans for the property. He cares very much about this space and it shows. I'll definitely will be returning.

Great camping spot, was passing through the area and got in after sundown. Steven was accommodating and showed me the way to get to the spot. Was raining and a little muddy but that’s expected anywhere. Recommend 4wd.

This campsite is very private and peaceful. It was the perfect space for my dog to run around off leash. The drive up to the site was muddy, but I was able to make it easily in my SUV. Steven is a nice guy and I felt very safe staying on his property.

Steven is super nice and hospitable. I would just try to plan your trip around drier days. If it's been raining the site can be pretty muddy, and you would be smart to bring a 4x4 to reach your store without any worries. Otherwise, really nice site secluded and in the back of Steven's property, would come back

The campsite was beautiful, secluded and peaceful. DG is not far down the road so very convenient to pick up food items. I have a truck so access to the site was easy. Most importantly for me, I felt I was in a safe space. It’s just me and my dog so that is a priority for me.

It was great 👍. Quit place to camp 🏕. Would go back in a heart beat. Maybe bad if it was raining 🌧. I drove a Ford F150 two wheel drive in dry weather with no problem. Probably need a 4x4 if it had been raining 🌧. Very private place to camp 🏕. Love it.

Great little spot tucked away right around the corner from all the hustle and bustle of Pigeon Forge. Would definitely stay here again! Good and quiet with a view of the sunset

Steven and Paulette's property is incredible. Both campsites are quiet, secluded, and a great spot close-ish to everything but hidden away. Plenty of wildlife and natural hollowss to explore. Steven and Paulette are wonderful hosts and let our little ones see the chickens and explore. 10/10 recommend their sites.

My husband and I enjoyed the beautiful campsites that Steven and Paulette offer. You couldn't ask for more friendly and accommodating hosts. We had the opportunity to visit both sites due to rain preventing us from ascending Papa's Peak. While we were able to camp at Papa's Peak, the views and the sounds of nature - think lullabies from Whipporwills and Owls - were so beautiful and comforting. While in Bear Cove, we enjoyed the seclusion and the beauty. Steven and Paulette delivered wood, a picnic table, and a fire ring. We even brought home some fresh eggs from their farm. You can't go wrong camping here.

Beautiful secluded spot! Hosts were incredibly accommodating. I look forward to booking again. As recommended by hosts, make sure you have a vehicle that can traverse the .25 mi route from the hosts' driveway to the campsite. I was in a subcompact SUV with AWD and with caution, did fine.

Stephen and Paulette greeted me at the gate and escorted me up to my spot. Wide open spot nice picnic table and fire ring. If private is what you’re looking for this is it ,also it’s very quiet. I had some friends pick me up at the site, as we went to a race at 4:11 speedway. We got back late and Stephen was outside ready to give me a ride to the site, which saved me a lot of walking, thanks Stephen! If I’m in the area again I will surely book Steven and pull it say it again!

Panther Creek Hideaway was a great spot! Nice and secluded and quiet. Due to all the rain we had recently, it was nice to have 4 wheel drive getting to the campsite. Something to keep in mind. We did not get to meet Steven & Paulette, but our fellow campers did and they were very welcoming and attentive to any needs that we had. We would definitely check out Panther Creek Hideaway again!
