Wild Meadows atop Rutherford County

5 sites · RVs, Tents16 acres · Lascassas, TN
25 years ago, we camped this spot and dreamed of building a house here. The view was so captivating. Needless to say, we’ve been here 20+yrs and still camping our land. Now we are sharing the beautiful landscape and remote feel that's so close to so much to see and do. We love where we are and we think you will too. Oh and I should also mention, you must love dogs. We have 3 plus 2 cats and chickens. Isolated or wide open. 1 tent or group camping. No electricity or water hookups. Free Access to water hose. We do not allow recreational motorized vehicles, firearms or bows. This is a peaceful serene getaway. We also have Airbnb rentals that consist of our home, that's also listed as "Wild Meadows atop Rutherford County", a travel trailer referred to as "Wildwood 17' Western RV and an RV listed as "Boutique RV at Wild Meadows". See trees, birds, lightning bugs and gorgeous views of Rutherford county. 5 min. from water. Swim, bike, fish, walk or run. Boating 15 min. from Percy priest lake. 10 min. from Cedars of Lebanon state park. 5 min. from Murfreesboro. 15 min. from downtown Murfreesboro. On the city square, there's live music first Friday every month. Fantastic farmers market sat mornings in the summer, starting in May. Checkout “Quarter Spring Farm” goat soap booth. Tell Heather hello for us. Her lemongrass and clove soap are my favorites. 30 min. from Nashville. 5 min. from Greenway walking trails. 20 min. from shopping. Hundreds of restaurants within a 20 min. radius. Championship soccer park 10 min. Sports com 15 min./workout or Olympic size pool w/slides and fantastic playground with Amazing handicap baseball field. Historic: Stones River Battlefield 20 min. Oakland’s Mansion 20 min. Maple Shade Farm full hookup site

1 site · RV50 acres · Greenbrier, TN
Tired of campgrounds that feel more like parking lots? Come and reconnect with nature and park your RV on our private, large, shaded, full hookup, 72 ft long, 30 and 50 amp RV site with wifi on our 50 acre farm with fire ring and picnic table and screen house. We are not a campground, just a small farm in a rural neighborhood with 2 full hookup RV sites for guests.  30 minutes (17miles) North of Nashville, Tennessee. There are wild Turkeys and Deer that roam the property. We also have some free range Guineas and Peacocks which is why we ask that all dogs, while welcome, remained leashed at all times. Great place to get away and enjoy nature, take a walk on our trails through the woods, take a hike down to our creek, listen to the birds and watch the sunset over the pasture while cooking s’mores on the fire, yet not that far from Nashville!  Perfect for enjoying nature and/or visiting Nashville. Traveling with horses? They are welcome to use our fenced pasture. This site is for self contained RVs only, there are no restroom facilities. Check in is between 2 pm and sundown. No check ins after dark without prior approval. Limit of 2 vehicles and 2 pets. When you request to book just let us know how many people will be camping, how many pets you will be bringing with you and what you are camping in, travel trailer or motor home, and what length in feet it is. Thank you! Since this is a natural area of fields and woods, along with farm animals and wildlife you may encounter insects. We recommend bringing insect repellent for mosquitoes and ticks and making sure that your pets have protection also.

Quarter Spring Farm

1 site · Lodging65 acres · Liberty, TN
Quarter Spring Farm is located in Liberty, TN on the western edge of the Cumberland Plateau. It comprises 63 acres of wooded ridges and hollows with exceptional hiking and distinct landscape features. Smith Fork Creek, which feeds Center Hill Lake, is visible from the campsite. Quarter Spring Farm’s history is murky and still being discovered. The house is over 100 years old. There are stone property walls that may predate the civil war. We believe this site was a Mississippian period settlement because of the large amount of artifacts we have found.

Grace Farm’s Pond in the Woods

1 site · Tent75 acres · Franklin, TN
Originally a Revolutionary War grant farm, the property is 75 acres, 50 of which is wooded. There is a one acre spring fed pond with pond house for swimming and barbless hook fishing, a 15 acre hayfield, an 1882 home, a 1915 barn, outbuildings, organic garden, apple orchard, and beehives. The pond house has a hammock, or plenty of room on the floor for two sleeping bags in inclement weather. Tents can be pitched on the earthen dam. There is no electric or toilet available; campers must bring a camp toilet and remove all waste from property. Spring water for drinking is available just down the hill from the pond house. There is also a cast iron tub below the holding tank overflow where you can bathe in cold spring water with biodegradable soaps. The walk up to the pond is less than five minutes with about a 50’ elevation gain. Please arrive at least one hour before nightfall for setup. The pond is stocked with bass and sunfish and the occasional snapping turtle. Bullfrogs chorus at night, deer come to drink, and herons frequent the shore. Campfire permission will be weather dependent and will be discussed before your stay. There is plenty of deadfall available near the pond house.
