It was a beautiful spot that I would go back to and recommend, if you like being up on the ridge and looking at the Stars. We enjoyed sleeping under the Stars. It was also very quiet, especially for a holiday weekend!
This spot wasn’t for me but it could be for you. I like camping for great views and secluded relaxation. These spots are literally someone’s back yard. The tent spots were flat so that’s good, and you can hike down the hill to a little spot by the lake. You won’t experience any road noise but you will hear boats late into the night and early in the morning even though the camp spots do not offer a view of the lake. So long story short if you want to stay in someone’s back yard about 30 feet from the driveway then this is the place for you.

Beautiful, secluded and tranquil. This ridge was a great place to camp for the night. We were lucky and got to enjoy sunset and a rising full moon from the beautiful ridge.

Would definitely inform people how to get down to the lake if they wanted to. All we saw were drop offs. When we got back from going into town there was an older gentleman walking alongside our rig with a little girl on his shoulders, and then while hooking up our rig, a big German Shepard rushed towards us. My friend was very scared, and luckily I wasn’t. You might want to inform visitors about the unleashed dogs as well, even though they are friendly. If anyone is looking for a part, send them over to Southern RV. It is on the right hand side of 41A, across from the Knotty Pine motel.
We really just needed a place to sleep for the night but we’re treated to a beautiful sunset over the Normandy reservoir. Clean and pretty.

Nice and secluded area aside from the neighbors house which wasn't a problem at all. There were some nice kids riding dirtbikes and fourwheelers and I love to see kids out having fun outside instead of sitting inside on electronics. We would definitely stay here again!

Daniel is a spectacular host!! Views are amazing and hiking is great!! We didn’t even realize it until our second day but he also sales live edge wood!! We are still in the building process and Daniel sold us some great pieces with a price you can’t beat!! We will definitely be back!!

clear flat space on top of ridge. Perfect for camping. It rained most the time we were there but cleared up for the sunset and we had a lovely fire.
We had a great time camping at Sunset Ridge lot 3. There are some houses and shops/garages in viewing distance of all of the spots but that wouldn't stop us from staying there again. We had plenty of space to set up tents and play lots of games. We were able to pull the car right up to the spot which was nice. Daniel was very friendly and reached out to us to letting us know where we could get firewood. We felt very safe and would stay there again.
We had a wonderful stay! Anyone looking for a good view sunset ridge is the one for you. David communicated everything and we look forward to staying again!!

Fantastic place to stay will be coming back for a longer stay
Last stop on the way home. Site was VERY secluded, we were the only campers. and the security dog, Theo.🐶 kept things in line. :)
Other than dogs in the vicinity barking, quiet site with power&water.

Daniel and family were very nice. The highlight for us was Theo, the dog on the property. Location doesn't feel very private. There is a house being built very close to the camp site so we had construction noise from early morning until sunset. There are several buildings behind the campsite with a lot of clutter. We were told about a path through the trees to access the lake. It was straight down a mountain and wouldn't be manageable for everyone.

This place is great the host was very helpful. I would 100% stay here again! Plus the dog loved it!
Beautiful site with great views. Host was very responsive and directions were spot on. Took a bit of leveling, but that was made clear in HipCamp.
