Julian and Kachina have accomplished many updates, and improvements in the time they have been here. Everything from not-so-exciting infrastructure, well pumps, electrical upgrades, painting, swimming pool pump, etc., and have attempted to give this beautiful campground a more inviting atmosphere, comfortable seating on the office patio, beautiful flowers, unique pinecone art, upgrades to the cabins, mini-fridges in all cabins, new mattresses, electrical improvements and more. The Starr’s 25-year experience in the RV business in Gold Beach, Oregon, and Durango Colorado has given them lots of warm memories and some funny stories too. There is an old quarried stone railroad bridge and a few short walking trails around the pond. The pond is at the back of the property where I have 6 dry camp sites listed as Uncle B's farm for tents or self contained RV's. All sites have partial to full shade and most have mature trees that will work for a hammock or tensile tent. All of the campsites have a firepit, some with cooking grates and all sites have a picnic table. The "shower shack" is shared by all guests and has 2 separate 3/4 baths with all modern plumbing. There is also a basic outdoor kitchen with a few portable grills as well as a sink with modern plumbing. Available at Uncle B's RV Camper site I have 3 RV sites with water and 30 Amp electrical hookups. My "Ready Set Camp" listing is a dome tent set up and furnished with 4 cots, table, and lamp as well as a match ready fire. The Barn loft apartment is a studio apartment with a small galley kitchen and private bath. The Hippie Bus is new for the 2025 season and offers a trip back in time. Downhome Country Farm is 10 acres of woods and prairie with a large garden, chickens, wild turkeys, guinea fowl, mules, horses, a dog, and bee hives in the pasture. We have two restored vintage campers that and multiple tent sites.The bathroom and solar shower are shared by all guests. There are 2 sites for self-contained RV's with 20A electric available and water at some sites. 2 tent sites are available until the hay season (August) then the pasture is wide open tent camping. Horse boarding with camping available too. Each site can request individual fire rings. We have an outdoor community area that has a large fire pit, covered shelter and a woodfired pizza oven that will be in use on some weekends and by request. A nature trail, fresh produce usually. A tetherball!! Plus national touring musicians are known to provide pop up private concerts some weekends and impromptu jam sessions by the campfire or on the front porch. On occasion, we have outdoor movies(when the sun goes down early) and morning yoga along with great activities in the surrounding community too. Or just hang out in the hammocks or swing from the 60 foot swing in the old cottonwood and soak in that downhome country feeling while it “snows” in July. Stunning views, super kind hosts, secluded but close to civilization. The sunrises are stunning - especially when you're able to hike the public trail right next to the property. We stayed at Site 2 - backed right up to their barn, but it seems to be a storage barn and doesn't have daily use. Owners are very kind and easy to communicate with. Site 1 and 3 are next to each other, but would not hesitate to stay there our next time around either. Quiet spot to hangout in between adventures. Highly recommend this spot!

It continued through late Wednesday Thursday was beautiful and I left Friday but it is a good sized camp surrounded with pine trees a nice facility. Friendly people who were willing to repair the washed out roads so i could pull out without bottoming out my trailer! I’d go again Thanks everyone for the extra smiles Dan Quinn

This was the nicest of the RV parks we stayed in on our 10 day journey. Clean bathrooms and laundry, nice showers, nice extra touches around the property like hammocks, gazebos, flowers, etc.

Weekend Trip to Fort Welikit Campground

It was so wonderful! Can’t wait to make it back out and stay some more. So peaceful, spacious, and accommodating. Amenities wonderful. About a 10-15 min drive to Sylvan Lake depending on traffic, 4 min away from Custer. Literal perfect location. Thanks so much for a great stay, gentlemen!

Weekend Trip to Crow Peak’s Last Best Place

We stayed over Labor Day weekend and had an amazing time. It's so beautiful and quiet - very secluded, but close to Spearfish to enjoy all it has to offer. Having full hook-ups was really nice too!

Great location for everything Badlands! Make sure to see the Ampitheater with Ranger & Stars event every night at 8pm at the visitors center! Just don't try to do laundry while you are there... The hotel has to wash their linens in the same location... Didn't have a chance to get any laundry completed while staying there...

This spot is a gem. It's beautifully taken care of and backs up to the Black Hills national Forest with access via walking trails. It's peaceful and has a spot for everyones camping/rv needs. nice bathrooms and laundry room firewood for purchase that gets restocked every day would highly recommend people stay here as it's close to many attractions in the Black Hills.

Weekend Trip to Horse Creek Resort

What a great place. It was peaceful, the campsites were great. Garrett had a great response time. I would definitely come back. We actually extended our stay one night because we liked it so much. Would highly recommend.
