We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Stagecoach Stays! Shelley and Clark were warm, welcoming, and incredibly responsive hosts. They were truly top-tier customer service from start to finish. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and surrounded by nature. We felt completely safe and right at home. Their horses were lovely to watch, and we saw wild turkeys and deer throughout our stay. It was such a refreshing connection to wildlife! The location is also perfect for exploring the region: just minutes from downtown Hot Springs, a short drive to Wind Cave National Park, and only 40 minutes to both the Black Hills National Forest and Crazy Horse Memorial. Mount Rushmore is just about an hour away, making this spot a fantastic hub for day trips. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Camp has wonderful views of Badlands National Park, as it is a couple of minutes from the entrance station. It has all you need, and there are even some short trails to hike and walk you pets on. Great stay 😊

We were so excited to find full hookups that were not in a crowded camping ground. It was quiet and peaceful, we were directed to some trails on the property for an afternoon hike, and it was close to town. The hosts were fantastic. We would definitely stay again if we are in the area.

Weekend Trip to Uncle B's Produce Farm

We always enjoy camping at Uncle B’s! This is honestly our favorite place to camp. Brian always makes us feel welcome, we love the views and the quiet, and there is always some fun quirky new decoration to check out. We also really enjoy the chickens, turkeys, guineas, and peacocks, and our dog has a blast playing with the dogs, who are super sweet and friendly.

Who knew a random dude’s farm in the middle of South Dakota could be so wonderful? I have no reason to visit South Dakota again (that I know of) - but if we ever pass by in the future, we’ll be staying with Uncle B. Worth the hype. I was skeptical of how a camp could have over 1,000 reviews and 100% positive rating. But I’ve been convinced after staying there myself. Brian is absolutely delightful. Greeted us with s’mores and dog treats when we arrived. Even stayed and chatted with us by the campfire for a bit. The place was clean, easy to access and had lots of little touches that just made it even better. The animals were fun to watch and the sunset was breathtaking.

This was a great base camp for our South Dakota adventure. The site was beautiful with tall pines all around. Lot of wildlife to see as well. The staff were great to work with, they delivered firewood and ice directly to our site. We would highly recommend spending time here if you’re in South Dakota

Fantastic location for going to the national parks and the state parks and everything. Garrett was a very, very helpful. Help me get into my slots and it was a perfect spot. It was absolutely lovely at the location is beautiful. And then Garrett suggested a couple of places to go to and check out while I was in the park and he was spot on the needles. While here, you may encounter badgers, coyotes, deer, pronghorn, wild turkeys, frogs/toads, turtles, voles, bull snakes, rattlers, owls, creepy-crawlers - and you may experience annoying mosquitos and flies during the hotter summer season. Uncle B's Produce Farm

Awarded South Dakota's best Hip Camp 3 times. Uncle B's farm is a small 11 acre hobby farm with a large vegetable garden, chickens, peafowl, guinea fowl, turkeys, dogs, and cats. There is an old quarried stone railroad bridge and a few short walking trails around the pond. The pond is at the back of the property where I have 6 dry camp sites listed as Uncle B's farm for tents or self contained RV's. All sites have partial to full shade and most have mature trees that will work for a hammock or tensile tent. All of the campsites have a firepit, some with cooking grates and all sites have a picnic table. The "shower shack" is shared by all guests and has 2 separate 3/4 baths with all modern plumbing. There is also a basic outdoor kitchen with a few portable grills as well as a sink with modern plumbing. Available at Uncle B's RV Camper site I have 3 RV sites with water and 30 Amp electrical hookups. My "Ready Set Camp" listing is a dome tent set up and furnished with 2 cots, table, and lamp as well as a match ready fire. The Barn loft apartment is a studio apartment with a small galley kitchen and private bath. The Hippie Bus is new for the 2025 season and offers a trip back in time. Check-In is 2 pm to 9 pm; Check-Out is 10 am for the cabins and 11 am for all other sites.
