My Neighbor has started his own Campsite, "The Swimming Hole". If mine is booked up and you still want to camp, look him up. His is better suited for small groups but has much more privacy. We have a new road to the campsite; you can now drive down with two-wheel drive vehicle or RV down and park near your tent! There is plenty of soft sand to set up one tent or ten tents; large groups are welcome for an extra fee. A Porta-Potty is available at the campsite. Swimming is usually possible at the base of the falls; however, large amounts of rain can change conditions and make it unusable. I should also add, this is not a completely private campsite deep in the woods. The camp is visible from a shared driveway, and my residence is up a hill that overlooks the area. Also, I do not own the land on the other side of the stream. Occasionally, the owners of that land will spend a weekend afternoon enjoying the waterfall view also. Still much quieter and more private than a regular campground. Glamping tents and additional camping tents are available through a local company. Look in the pictures for the tent with red, white, and blue balloons. Message me for details. Close to US National Whitewater Center (mountain biking, whitewater rafting, kayaking), Kings Mountain National Military Park (Horseback riding and history), Crowders Mountain (Hiking), 3 miles off of I-85 and US-321 for people passing through.

We hunted, fished, made mud pies and played outside for hours, as long as we were in shouting distance for supper time! I am so fortunate to be the daughter of two amazing parents, who had a dream to build a working farm from nothing more than a logging trail in the woods. They built a 3 story, 10,000 square foot house by themselves- while raising a family! Wild turkey and deer roam free all over the farm, coveys of dove fly out from the pastures and trails, and coyotes howl in the night. Take a nature hike through the trails that meander through the woods around the park. Our newest venture is to offer primitive camping and some cabin rentals around our 60 acre Agripark! For those wanting to step it up a notch, we have erected a large concrete floor, covered event barn (for parties, family reunions, weddings, cowboy church, etc..,) and also a huge petting zoo barn with an area behind it for pony rides and 4-h/FFA functions. Also, a greenhouse is being erected next, that will teach people about aquaponics and hydroponics! Many things are on the immediate horizon for this special property. While we are under heavy construction at the moment in some areas of the park, many amenities are currently available. Why not unplug from the daily grind and spend time with those that matter most? The campsite was gorgeous and felt very private. The land is beautiful and my hosts were so helpful and gracious. The only piece of information folks might need is that an off-leash dog roamed from a nearby property and sniffed around the campsite on multiple days. Every time I saw the dog in advance, and there were no incidents with my pets as a. I interacted with the dog who was very sweet but I did not feel comfortable introducing my dogs to these dogs just in case. My hosts communicated with me about the issue and did their best to offer solutions. I don't think this would be a showstopper for people without pets at all, and not necessarily even for those with them as long as you are careful.

This was exactly what we were looking for when searching for our daughter’s first camping trip. The owners were so nice and hospitable and the property grounds are just beautiful. The trails throughout the woods light up at night which made my daughter smile for hours on end. She especially loved the rope swing and visiting the horses!. Don’t skip this spot in your search. You’ll regret it.

Great site. Quiet. Snow flurries Monday, first time that happened camping! Host was awesome. Close to Daniel Stowe Gardens, nice trails. 8 nights, wife and I were able to relax for a while.

We love Luck Farms!!!! We've been here multiple times and each time gets better and better. The owners are always improving the farms aesthetics. The sites are all wonderful. We've stayed at each of their sites on different occasions. The kids love the swings and the trails. We were able to enjoy our outdoor adventures and created wonderful memories.

Stephanie was super helpful and directive. Land felt private and nice, but could still hear the road nearby. We got in super late so didn't explore much, but seemed spacious and pretty well kept. Kinda spooky vibes, but still safe.

Our stay here was wonderful! The land is absolutely gorgeous, the cabin is well stocked with almost everything you need, and Katie and her husband are just so pleasant and kind! My boys loved meeting the animals, kayaking on the pond, and telling stories around the fire! We would love to come out again sometime for a longer period of time! Highly recommend!!

Franklins property was a really nice stay. The trees are beautiful, location convenient and as others have said, it's off a street but still quiet. Franklin made himself available should we have needed anything and was very responsive and flexible with our arrival time.
