Rosewood Farm and Agripark is my home. I honestly had about the most amazing childhood one could have on this very land! We hunted, fished, made mud pies and played outside for hours, as long as we were in shouting distance for supper time! I am so fortunate to be the daughter of two amazing parents, who had a dream to build a working farm from nothing more than a logging trail in the woods. They built a 3 story, 10,000 square foot house by themselves- while raising a family! We have 200 acres of farmland that features rolling hills, multiple ponds, creeks, farm animals, show horses and countless wildlife viewing opportunities. Wild turkey and deer roam free all over the farm, coveys of dove fly out from the pastures and trails, and coyotes howl in the night. Listen to the frogs croaking, crickets chirping and whipporwhills calling every evening under a magical blanket of stars. Take a nature hike through the trails that meander through the woods around the park. Our newest venture is to offer primitive camping and some cabin rentals around our 60 acre Agripark!
For those wanting to step it up a notch, we have erected a large concrete floor, covered event barn (for parties, family reunions, weddings, cowboy church, etc..,) and also a huge petting zoo barn with an area behind it for pony rides and 4-h/FFA functions. Also, a greenhouse is being erected next, that will teach people about aquaponics and hydroponics! Many things are on the immediate horizon for this special property. While we are under heavy construction at the moment in some areas of the park, many amenities are currently available. Why not unplug from the daily grind and spend time with those that matter most? We are within 10 minutes of York, 20 Minutes from Clover, 15 minutes from Kings Mountain, 25 minutes from Lake Wylie and ~30 minutes from both Gastonia and Rock Hill. This is a great central location to go hiking, boating, fishing, horseback riding, whitewater rafting, and shopping...... or to just sit back, relax and enjoy the country farm life. This 2.5 acre, partially wooded lot is located on a secluded cove of Lake Wylie. Campers can enjoy the lakeview, lake access, a spacious dock, swimming area, fishing, kayaking, and other lake activities! [This camping spot includes a communal or private fire pit as well as access to a gas grill.] Additionally, this lot is within driving distance to many local attractions listed below.
This property is BYOB (Bring Your Own Boat)! There are 2 boat landings within 5 miles of the property, campers are more than welcome to tie up their boat to the on-site dock and park their trailer on the property.
Pets are welcome, however note that the property owner has a cat and small dog on site. Pets need to be well behaved and not aggressive to other animals. Cleaning up after your pet in the lawn areas is required.

It is 10 minutes to South Carolina's oldest inland city, historic Camden and 6 minutes from Lake Wateree (about 240 miles of shoreline). There is an old dirt and gravel road lined with trees, a natural spring that usually has water, large rocks, a very old cemetery, wildlife, and beautiful wildflowers and blackberries depending on the time of the year. Our house and land have been in my family over 200 years. Lots of history! Come out and visit and enjoy nature! Deer and turkey are active now too! We have grills for you to use, a picnic table, swings and fire pits.

Even though you're actually in somebody's backyard it feels so incredibly private with picnic bench, firing, stream, swing and plenty of firewood! There's even a flushable toilet in the outhouse!

Very aesthetically pleasing site right outside of Charlotte. The campsite is right on a creek with a nice swimming hole. The standing grill was a nice feature for grilling steaks. Great bench swing. It was the winter so there were no leaves on the trees so there was a slightly visible house through the trees during the daytime. At night a big flood light was shining from the house directly at the campsite. We didn't ask the host to turn it off but I'm sure they would have. Nice spot. Will return.

This is over of the most beautiful camp sites I've been to so far. Spacious and plenty of room for setting up everything, with a view that's absolutely breathtaking. Fall asleep to the sounds of the waterfall literally tens of feet away. It's like renting out a state park all to yourself. Will absolutely stay again and again at this gem!

Taylor’s land was the perfect spot for our midway stop on our roadtrip, not far off the highway and the land itself was gorgeous. Our dog was able to run around off leash, huge plus after hours of driving. The toilet was clean. There were paths through the woods for us to stretch our legs. And our host met us to show us where to set up and could not have been sweeter. Great place to camp!!

I had such an amazing experience car camping at Lucky Farms. This was my very first time camping and this was a great start to my camping adventures. Taylor and Marty were fantastic hosts and so gracious. I felt safe and comfortable here so I was able to get a good nights rest. If you love stargazing (like me) you will love this place with beautiful views of the moon, stars, and sunset/rise. This is the perfect place for campers traveling solo or as a couple/family. My dog loved the open field, but I arrived a bit later than I intended and I didn’t get a chance to explore the trails and other amenities, so I will be booking another stay here with my dog in the future. I would definitely recommend Lucky Farms to any camper looking for a great place to camp. :)

The campsite was gorgeous and felt very private. The land is beautiful and my hosts were so helpful and gracious. The only piece of information folks might need is that an off-leash dog roamed from a nearby property and sniffed around the campsite on multiple days. Every time I saw the dog in advance, and there were no incidents with my pets as a. I interacted with the dog who was very sweet but I did not feel comfortable introducing my dogs to these dogs just in case. My hosts communicated with me about the issue and did their best to offer solutions. I don't think this would be a showstopper for people without pets at all, and not necessarily even for those with them as long as you are careful.
