Space was nice, simple, and clean. The outhouse was an appreciated touch as it was also stocked and clean. The road back is a little bumpy, but no problem if you have a slightly taller vehicle. The host was nice and guided us back, gave us the run dow,n and we had a nice time getting out of the city for the weekend.

Beautiful location exactly as advertised. Brian met us upon arrival and showed us to the spot. Very relaxing. Had a great time walking around the fields and our dog loved the creek. Will definitely return! Perfect for a relaxing get away!

My friend’s and I had a really good time camping here. Spot is well kept and maintained. Lots of good spots to pitch tents. Very quiet. Brian was a great host.

This spot was amazing. We enjoyed walking around and having the spot to ourselves! The host checked on us via text a few times and he was wonderful. I will definitely be staying here more often!

This is an incredible experience only an hour from Charlotte. I so enjoyed meeting Brian, a wonderful host who has made this site a destination. Great fire pit, abundant wood to be gathered, a pond and a creek alongside a beautiful wheat field with a generous space to set up camp with a clean, well-stocked outhouse. Highly recommend, and we’ll be back soon!

Brian greeted us upon entry and guided us to the location. He was very freindy and polite and never checked in other than making sure everything went well on check out day (by text message). The campsite was private, peaceful, and everything needed to unwind and relax. Fire wood gathering was available and a clearance pit outhouse was available. We will definitely visit again.

This campsite is only about 20 minutes away from Waxhaw, but you feel like you are pretty remote. Host communication and instructions are excellent. The campsite is a large field surrounded by woods with lots of places to park or set up a tent. You can't see or hear any homes or structures. There is a firepit and lots of wood around. There's a creek nearby. It's quiet and peaceful. Would also be a great party spot for a larger group. If you are in or around Charlotte and looking for a close getaway, this is a great option.

We had a great night here! The spot is secluded and was amazing for our senior dog that doesn’t do very well around other dogs or too many people. There was plenty of mowed space for us to setup our camp table and chairs for dinner. Brian was amazing - communicative ahead of time and came to check on us briefly to make sure we got setup alright shortly after we arrived. Will stay here again as we frequently road trip between VA and FL!

This place was amazing. Brian was so kind and helpful, we felt completely safe. Lots of wildlife activity, and the view of the sky is to die for. Absolutely gorgeous. Large open area for exploring, cute pond to walk around, a nice creek and a great fire pit! Will definitely be coming back!

This spot is extremely private and perfect if you want to get out in the great outdoors and rough it, not have camping neighbors and have no obligations in sight except what you want to do. The property is beautiful and has lots to explore and check out at your leisure or you could just lounge and take in the sounds and sights of nature.
A pond, a creek, lots of beautiful forest and open fields... It's all here for you to immerse yourself in .
Big box stores are within 20 minutes if you need or forget any necessities.
Brian is extremely friendly, fun to talk to and a great host that wanted us to enjoy ourselves.
Without a doubt will be back.

This beats campgrounds any day, if your ok with primitive camping. I took my two girls and our dog and they loved how secluded it was. Brian led us out through the woods into a big open clearing where we set up camp. We will most likely be coming back.
