My niece and her kids and I had a great night in the treehouse. It was definitely too short a visit but will stay again, just maybe not in the treehouse next time. It’s beautiful out here and I’d recommend it to anyone!

Our family loved everything about Bills Cabin! The primitive adventure of the open air but the comfort of their camp mattresses was the perfect mix. The kids enjoyed heating up by the wood stove and cooking over the open fire. Gathering our drinking water from the creek was also a very cool experience. In the morning before check out we were able to explore some of the trails and my husband and I both attempted the cold plunge. We’ve already talked about coming back and can’t wait to check out the tree house for the views.

Even though there was a storm it was a very cozy stay!! Rick was so accommodating and even helped us get out little Prius up the driveway after a night of heavy rain. He was out the door early to clear a fallen tree with his tractor:))) would highly recommend as the property is very beautiful!!!

This place is perfect for a relaxed, secluded vacation with friends. I went with 2 of my college friends for a night and it was amazing. There are great walking trails, a fire pit with plenty of firewood, and all the amenities you could ask for. Christy was super friendly and helpful and gave great directions on how to get there. 10/10 experience

Weekend Trip to Cold Spring Basecamp

This cabin is exactly what I was looking for! It was just myself and my two dogs but I couldn't have been happier with the space. An open air cabin that provides enough shelter from a slightly cold night, Bill's cabin had everything I needed including plenty of sleeping space, a large fire pit, a propane-powered stove cast iron skillets, and even a french press. The location was easy to find and it was clear the hosts put plenty of thought into their guest's experience. Solar powered lights helped keep things clear, clean plates and dishes were welcome, and $5 per bundle fire wood kept us warm all night! I would absolutely come back here by myself or with my family or friends!

Very comfortable relaxing weekend. It was on the colder side and having a stove to reheat coffee and warm some my food was very useful. The new mattress was very comfortable. Thank you so much. I’ll be back again.

My daughters and I had a wonderful two-night stay at Bill’s Cabin. It was the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation. The camp host was incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel so welcome. It was cold (and even snowed!), and while the cabin wasn’t exactly warm, the stove helped, and we made it work. We loved cooking over the fire pit, using the well-stocked kitchen, and unwinding under the solar lights. The rustic charm and peaceful surroundings made it a magical getaway. We’ll definitely be back—next time for the treehouse stay! Highly recommend!

Great views! All we needed! Rain squelched our plans for more hiking, but having the game room on site helped keep the kids entertained. Clean bathrooms close by and the pasture stayed busy with animal friends. Very close to town but Ray and Shannon were also so willing to help if needed.

Cook over the stone fire pit or on cast iron pots and pan on the propane stove. Full equipped kitchen for all your needs, including French press, and tea pot. Relax under the solar lights and charge your devices using our solar powered charging station. Campsites are all nestled in the woods and next to the creek and are all spacious and private. Each site has a picnic table, fire ring with grill for cooking over the fire. Additionally a water filter is provided for purifying drinking water from the creek. Launch your adventure from Cold Spring or stay on the property to enjoy the mountain bike trails, hike to the waterfall and cliffs or relax in the meadow. Minutes to the world class trails of Ride Rock Creek Bike Park and beautiful Lake Summit, just down the road from Ride Kanuga Bike Park and the world famous Green River, with class I-V rapids.
