Is the James Island County Park full, or want a little space? Then we invite you to park your camper, or pitch your tent at The Cove. Enjoy beverages on the dock, or launch your paddle boards and kayaks for a tidal creek adventure. There is, on average, 2.5 hours of navigable water on either side of a high tide. So a total of 5 hours on the water, or even longer depending on the moon cycle. Bike the family to a number of restaurants, including Chick-fil-a. For the adults, there are many establishments to grab an adult beverage as well, all within bike/walking distance. James Island county park is a literal mile away, only a minute drive to the waiting adventure. Downtown Charleston and Folly Beach are both only a 10 minute drive.
