We’re less than 10 minutes from Folly Beach and just a short 15–20-minute drive to historic downtown Charleston, giving you the best of both coastal play and cultural charm. Sunset Paddle on the Marshexperience

Glide through the golden hour with a peaceful paddle on the saltwater lake right from your backyard, or if the tide is right take your kayaks a short drive away to launch in the tidal creek. As the sun dips low over the marsh, you’ll witness herons, egrets, (and maybe even dolphins if you're lucky in the creek!)—all from the gentle rhythm of your kayak. For best creek paddling we recommend mid tide as the tide is coming in. Shoes are a must as oyster beds are plentiful! Includes: Use of 2 kayaks, paddles, and life jackets (2 hours) Tide chart Dry bag for phones or valuables Flexible timing based on tides and light—recommended launch between 5:30–7:00 PM (varies seasonally)

Very nice concrete site with water, 30/50 amp hookups and sewer. You can be at Folly beach for activities or dinner in 10 to 15 minutes and to Charleston and local plantations in 30 minutes. The hosts were very accommodating.

A nice break from campgrounds!

We really enjoyed our stay at Kristen's while visiting Charleston! It was a nice little break from campground life. The spot was great with full hook up option, peaceful neighborhood, and close enough to everything we needed. Kristen and her husband John were very kind and helpful. Definitely recommend and will save for the future.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was a great option to travel with our dog. The location was convenient . We ubered to dinner a few nights and it wasnt to far. We had everything we needed.

We loved staying at Kristen's place! It's in a nice, quiet neighborhood and conveniently close to Charleston. Parking our motorhome was easy, and the setup was hassle-free with water, power, and sewer hook-ups available. We highly recommend this place and will definitely be back!

We were in town for a weekend soccer tourney. Location was excellent! The area was quiet for our 2 night stay. We felt safe and glad we had full hookups. We would definitely stay there again our next trip down to Charleston/James Island.

Perfect for exploring the area!

Kristen's land was perfect for our needs. We wanted to experience Folly Beach and Charleston and the location was great for that. It was easy to park our rig in their driveway and hook-ups were really appreciated and also easy to use. I'd recommend this place for anyone looking to explore the area. John and Kristen were responsive and very accommodating.

Very good location in a quiet neighborhood, close to Folly Beach and not far from downtown Charleston. Set up was easy with having water, power, and sewer hook-ups. WiFi was also great. This spot was easy to get into as it was a straight driveway to back into with our trailer. Look forward to coming back!

Peaceful retreat in great location!

Great place, great set up, amazing hosts and a great location. We could not have asked for a better camping experience. Hook-ups were ideal and self explanatory. Sewer could even stay connected. Easy drive in and out. Great marsh views and a 10 minute drive to the beach max. Neighborhood was great to walk the dog and the next door neighbor has a pool for use (fee through Swimley). Kirsten and Josh were great hosts and were very responsive through the app. Highly recommended and we will be back!

We had a fantastic stay in Charleston! This spot was the perfect base camp for exploring both downtown Charleston and Folly Beach. The host was incredibly friendly, respecting our privacy while ensuring we had everything we needed. The site made it easy to level our camper and provided excellent power and water hookups. Throughout our stay, the host checked in to see if we needed anything and even recommended some great local restaurants. We would love to stay here again in the future!
