The natural splendor of the place is only outshined by Frances herself; warm, welcoming, and genuinely hospitable. She makes you feel at home from the moment you arrive. If you’re looking for a peaceful, scenic, and memorable camping experience, this is the spot. Truly a gem.

Weekend Trip to Friendly Fowl Farm

My family stayed two nights at the magnolia site. The site was clean and tent safe, we didn't need a tarp to protect the bottom from small brush or rocks. There was a nice camping toilet that was clean and right on site. Only interacted with host to buy eggs for breakfast but that was our choice, the host was friendly and I'm sure wouldn't mind more interaction if a camper needed it. Love the fact that they are a small farm providing non commercial goods to their community. We felt safe and secure in this site. Remember that this is a working farm and there will be farm noises. Thank you for hosting us.

Wow! Stunning views of an endless pasture lined with pines and live oaks. Loved waking up to cows peacefully grazing just outside the bus. Thank you for sharing your farm with the Hipcamp community!

Palm Corner is located on the Southeast corner of the property. Its the flattest marsh front area.

This location is unreal and a true gem. Stunning water views and incredible stargazing. Care is put into this site - from the cleared camping space, dedicated fire pit and picnic table, and the well equipped outhouse (towels, toiletries, bug spray, water bottles, organic gummy bears - you name it). This site truly exceeded our expectations and we can’t wait to come back.

Had such a great stay here, I don’t think the pictures do it justice! Very private, beautiful views and the best Hipcamp bathroom I have ever experienced by a mile. By 10 miles! I really appreciated and was impressed by the included towels and extra toiletries offered. I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking to camp in the Beaufort area. We drove up from Jacksonville and it was well worth the trip, thanks for a great stay!

Absolutely amazing, stayed here 3 times total, and it’s beautiful and so peaceful, you get to see beautiful wildlife and nature. I will be making this a regular spot.

This is the salt water pond where catch and release fishing is allowed for campers.

Very relaxing secluded site very much like state or provincial campgrounds next to the river delta. Took an early morning walk around the field watching the morning mist move over the morning dew-covered grass. Full hookups for sewer, water, and 50/30/20 amp electrical. Within a gated area next to a large field with an eclectic assemblage of farm machinery and boats. Left very relaxed.

This place was fantastic! It was super easy to get to, the property was beautiful, and the camper was perfect and spotless. Darren is a wonderful host; he communicated well and made sure I had everything I needed. He even found a car key that I lost on the property and messaged me to let me know he'd set it aside for me. Amazing experience all around!

The trip was a great escape from the go go go of normal life. There is plenty of fun to be had without leaving the property. Once the local bait shop closes its 25 minutes one way to the next closest store so be sure to take what you need a soak in the relaxation and enjoy the peaceful views of this beautiful land.
