This is a beautiful piece of property located in the heart of the Finger Lakes and Wine Country of NY. It features a stunning spring fed waterfall and nice forest land. Very close to town but also very secluded and private. Great place to unwind and relax from our everyday lives. It is situated however in a gully next to a creek and waterfall so it is susceptible to heavy rains. It is recommended to at least have an AWD vehicle if rainy. I can usually help campers with getting to the site in my side X side if you need to park up at the pasture. Please order enough wood initially as I have found I spend a lot of time delivering extra wood to campers. It seems as if you will typically go through 2 bundles per night on average. Also I supply a contractor size garbage bag to you if you choose garbage removal. It is also a good idea to text me when you have a solid ETA so I can be here to take you to the site. I want to mention that the two sites closest to the waterfall are a slight hike in and can only accommodate up to 4 person tents so if a bigger group or vehicle camping you will be placed at another site. What You’ll Stay In Spruce Cottage is a small, one-bedroom cottage for up to two guests (plus pets). It features two beds and one toilet. Campfires are allowed. The cabin was a lovely retreat and had all the essentials and more needed for the two of us and our pup. Highly recommend the walk to the park waterfall. Also nice added touches to have a good space heater and corn hole set up available. Very easy to access Watkins Glen and nearby parks.

Heather’s glamping Yurt was perfect! The privacy was beyond amazing and the property was absolutely beautiful!! Heather was very responsive and available for any questions or needs that came up, although the site was so thoughtfully set up, we didn’t even find a need to ask for anything!! We loved discovering the rock wall behind our site and the sunset from that space was really neat. We utilised the farm store on the property for our morning eggs, they were fantastic!! Nothing like farm fresh eggs to start the day off right. We didn't get any milk or meat that was also available there but it was nice to know if we had wanted some, we wouldn’t have to go far to get it! The private heated shower and the flushable toilet will persuade any non-camping enthusiast to come out and discover how wonderful this experience is!! Fire wood is readily available just a hop, skip down from Site 2, where we stayed. Only one lil hop from site 1! I would highly recommend this Yurt camping experience to anyone!!!!!!!

Weekend Trip to Bare Lake House

This was a last minute stop on our trip. Aric was very accommodating! I would love to come back in the summer, it seems like a really good time. The cabin was clean and cozy. There was a like a clubhouse with a kitchen, warm shower and toilets. It wasn’t a far walk.. The other campers were very courteous. We happen to come on the last weekend and they were having a potluck. I love being nude in nature. This was perfect!

The cabin we stayed in is situated in a walnut grove beside a bubbly stream. On the last day, we checked out the waterfall at the end of the drive. Wow! Next time maybe I will forgo the cabin so I can sleep beside the tranquil sounds of the waterfall.

We wanted to attempt glamping before camping with our 15 month old. We also knew we wanted seclusion. Heather’s land was perfect for just that! I loved that there were only two sites and they were far enough away from each other that we couldn’t hear other campers. The thoughtfulness and amenities provided were impressive we barely needed to pack any “essentials” as Heather provided it all! The outdoor shower was such a nice addition after a long hike at Salt Springs State Park. The bed was very comfortable and cleanliness was top notch! A short Walk to visit the cows and donkeys, learning the process of milking the cows, and chatting with Heather and her family was a highlight of our stay. Everyone was so friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a quiet little getaway with nice amenities!

Absolutely amazing camping trip! The yurt was huge, beautifully set up, and the bed was cozy and warm. The site itself was private and spacious, with everything provided to make camping effortless — from a fully stocked kitchen to all the camping essentials. All we had to bring was food and clothes. My dogs loved it, and the highlight for my 4-year-old was helping milk a cow and playing with the baby calves — she’s still talking about it! A perfect mix of comfort and adventure. We’ll definitely be coming back.

1 night at Waterfall Creek

We were lucky enough to have the whole space to ourselves, although the campsites are well spread out and definitely offer privacy. The cabin was beautiful, very clean, all of the amenities offered were there, and more. The creek was great to listen to until the sun went down, then two owl’s echoing through the darkness kept us company. The waterfall was just stunning. I’m glad some places are kept private and wild. Ken was very kind, and my goodness does he have a gorgeous property!!! I’ll be back to camp next to the waterfall no doubt!

My wife and I loved the land and the cabin. The host was amazingly hospitable and gave us a tour alongside giving us suggestions on the surrounding areas. The free firewood was a nice touch too! If you want quiet while still being close to something to do this is the place! But if you want quiet with nothing to do, this is also the place. My wife also loved the horses, which you can interact with. We will definitely be recommending this to others!

We had such a relaxing time. Everyone, well, it felt like a big family, wonderful feeling! Aric and Colleen very warm and welcoming. I couldn't recommend this place more. The cabin was small but so cozy, clean and well kept. The small porch was excellent for just relaxing and watching the fish jump in the pond.

Beautiful camp, recommend! Was here with our kids, had a wonderful time!!! Beautiful spot with good privacy, firepit, table, and (simple) glamping tent really fun pond with canoe, paddle boat, and swing kept the kids super happy great location near ithaca and beautiful surroundings convenient outhouse only possible downsides (none of these were issues for us, but worth noting) - keep in mind - shower is cold and not quite private so its ideal for hosing down after a dip and not real bathing - some road noise from nearby highway - not terrible at all, but noticeable - there are some other sites including a group site - which if fully booked might cause some noise

Wonderful time. Tiny house met all of our needs of us two parents and two teenagers. Very clean. Canoeing on the small pond was nice. Picking blueberries was wonderful. Plenty of room to yourself between tiny house and the other places they rent out. And plenty of parking. Easy to get to the main road.
