We spent the weekend for my wife’s birthday and it was absolutely perfect, the location, the layout everything about it was so well laid out. Heather even put up a Happy Birthday banner in the tent for when we arrived.

Weekend Trip to Canvas Private Glamping Yurt
Heather’s glamping Yurt was perfect! The privacy was beyond amazing and the property was absolutely beautiful!!
Heather was very responsive and available for any questions or needs that came up, although the site was so thoughtfully set up, we didn’t even find a need to ask for anything!!
We loved discovering the rock wall behind our site and the sunset from that space was really neat.
We utilised the farm store on the property for our morning eggs, they were fantastic!! Nothing like farm fresh eggs to start the day off right. We didn't get any milk or meat that was also available there but it was nice to know if we had wanted some, we wouldn’t have to go far to get it!
The private heated shower and the flushable toilet will persuade any non-camping enthusiast to come out and discover how wonderful this experience is!!
Fire wood is readily available just a hop, skip down from Site 2, where we stayed. Only one lil hop from site 1!
I would highly recommend this Yurt camping experience to anyone!!!!!!!

Weekend Trip to Lakeside Campground
I really enjoyed this place. It is very peaceful and clean, perfect for resting and disconnecting. The surroundings are beautiful: watching the sunrise over the lake, the sunsets, and the bonfires at night made the experience unforgettable. The nature around brings peace and energy, ideal for relaxing and reconnecting.
The hosts were very attentive and always available for anything I needed. You can feel the care and dedication they put into maintaining the place, which makes you feel welcome from the very first moment.
Overall, it was an excellent experience and I definitely recommend it. It’s a place I would love to return to.

Absolutely amazing camping trip! The yurt was huge, beautifully set up, and the bed was cozy and warm. The site itself was private and spacious, with everything provided to make camping effortless — from a fully stocked kitchen to all the camping essentials. All we had to bring was food and clothes. My dogs loved it, and the highlight for my 4-year-old was helping milk a cow and playing with the baby calves — she’s still talking about it! A perfect mix of comfort and adventure. We’ll definitely be coming back.

Staying at a yurt was a different experience altogether! We’ve never glamped but I do think it’s along those lines…. Nice clean space with basic amenities and clean shared restrooms and hot showers! Literally all that you can ask for when in the wilderness!

If you haven't figured it out yet this glamping site is on a working farm. Not a campground. And, there are only two camp sites so it's very private compared to traditional campground camping. On the other hand, if you are looking for a communal feel this is not the place for you.
The site and amenities were great. Not often do you have a flush-able toilet and hot shower at your campsite. The gas cook top was our choice for cooking. We saved the fire pit for smores.
Other than an escape from the rat race, we hiked most days. Salt Springs State Park was great but definitely explore the 400+ acres of the farm and take a tour of the farm.
Site #2 was great for us. It was more secluded than site #1 and has more trees so it was nice and cool even when the sun was out. Maybe site #1 would be better in the colder months.
We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone wanting to get away and unplug. Oh, and on the topic of unplugged my AT@T cell service worked fine but my wife's Verizon had no service.

3 nights at Canvas Private Glamping Yurt
The site was amazing ! We loved everything about it except the mosquitos lol. We were so comfortable and relaxed. If you have time I recommend you check out salt springs state park it was like a 10 min drive away and was perfect for the heat! We will def want to be back one day!

1 night at Lakeside Campground
Lakeside Campground was a great find just over the NY state border. Penny was there to welcome us in spite of our later arrival and kept the store open for us to pick up some items for our stay. The campground is well laid out, with spring plantings and personal touches throughout. Our yurt was located right on the lake & had its own dock to enjoy the spring peepers at night. Neat & tidy interior: creature comforts and a really comfy bed! Screened windows allow cool breezes in for an exceptional sleep. Hot water & good shower pressure in the shower house - we used the all-in-one on Huff ‘n Puff Ln. Bring a quarter with you: gets you 9 minutes of shower time.
This campground is now on our list of travel sites when headed north!

Heather and her family provide a beautiful, quiet place to get away! They truly have everything you need, so all you have to do is show up! Heather was super communicative throughout the process and everything was a breeze. Cannot recommend this stay enough!
