We spent the weekend for my wife’s birthday and it was absolutely perfect, the location, the layout everything about it was so well laid out. Heather even put up a Happy Birthday banner in the tent for when we arrived.

Heather’s glamping Yurt was perfect! The privacy was beyond amazing and the property was absolutely beautiful!!
Heather was very responsive and available for any questions or needs that came up, although the site was so thoughtfully set up, we didn’t even find a need to ask for anything!!
We loved discovering the rock wall behind our site and the sunset from that space was really neat.
We utilised the farm store on the property for our morning eggs, they were fantastic!! Nothing like farm fresh eggs to start the day off right. We didn't get any milk or meat that was also available there but it was nice to know if we had wanted some, we wouldn’t have to go far to get it!
The private heated shower and the flushable toilet will persuade any non-camping enthusiast to come out and discover how wonderful this experience is!!
Fire wood is readily available just a hop, skip down from Site 2, where we stayed. Only one lil hop from site 1!
I would highly recommend this Yurt camping experience to anyone!!!!!!!

We wanted to attempt glamping before camping with our 15 month old. We also knew we wanted seclusion. Heather’s land was perfect for just that! I loved that there were only two sites and they were far enough away from each other that we couldn’t hear other campers. The thoughtfulness and amenities provided were impressive we barely needed to pack any “essentials” as Heather provided it all! The outdoor shower was such a nice addition after a long hike at Salt Springs State Park. The bed was very comfortable and cleanliness was top notch!
A short Walk to visit the cows and donkeys, learning the process of milking the cows, and chatting with Heather and her family was a highlight of our stay. Everyone was so friendly and knowledgeable.
I highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a quiet little getaway with nice amenities!

Absolutely amazing camping trip! The yurt was huge, beautifully set up, and the bed was cozy and warm. The site itself was private and spacious, with everything provided to make camping effortless — from a fully stocked kitchen to all the camping essentials. All we had to bring was food and clothes. My dogs loved it, and the highlight for my 4-year-old was helping milk a cow and playing with the baby calves — she’s still talking about it! A perfect mix of comfort and adventure. We’ll definitely be coming back.

We loved camping in the yurt. Heather thought of everything you may need and it was beautifully decorated. Our favorite part was walking down to the barn in the morning to see the cows. We got to milk them and feed the babies. We really enjoyed talking to Jim about the farm. Highly recommend coming here!! We already want to come back and we just left.

If you haven't figured it out yet this glamping site is on a working farm. Not a campground. And, there are only two camp sites so it's very private compared to traditional campground camping. On the other hand, if you are looking for a communal feel this is not the place for you.
The site and amenities were great. Not often do you have a flush-able toilet and hot shower at your campsite. The gas cook top was our choice for cooking. We saved the fire pit for smores.
Other than an escape from the rat race, we hiked most days. Salt Springs State Park was great but definitely explore the 400+ acres of the farm and take a tour of the farm.
Site #2 was great for us. It was more secluded than site #1 and has more trees so it was nice and cool even when the sun was out. Maybe site #1 would be better in the colder months.
We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone wanting to get away and unplug. Oh, and on the topic of unplugged my AT@T cell service worked fine but my wife's Verizon had no service.

My partner and I stayed at site 1 and it was the perfect spot for our weekend away from the city! This site had all the amenities and supplies that you need to disconnect! The kitchen was stocked with pots, pans, and utensils, the yurt was spacious, and our favorite the outdoor shower had amazing temperature control. We brought our dog along and he loved all the sights and sounds of the farm. The host did an amazing job making sure that the space was ready and stocked with everything we needed. The farm fresh eggs were amazing and the fire wood was perfect. While we stayed we went to salt springs state park and checked out the nearby town Montrose and both were great experiences. Couldn’t recommend this site enough!

The site was amazing ! We loved everything about it except the mosquitos lol. We were so comfortable and relaxed. If you have time I recommend you check out salt springs state park it was like a 10 min drive away and was perfect for the heat! We will def want to be back one day!

Private Glamping Yurt Site 1
Driving up to site 1 was a little unexpected because it is close to the road and site 2 drives by site 1 BUT there is barely any traffic of the road and site 2 was empty during our stay so we felt like we had privacy. The site is beautiful! Gorgeous views. The inside of the tent was so cozy and set up perfectly. The outdoor kitchen came in handy and had basically everything we needed. We felt very relaxed and had a great time. If you walk up the road a bit, there are donkeys that are the cutest! We scheduled a time to feed the baby cows and had great conversation with Jim. We had farm fresh eggs and delicious breakfast sausage in the morning. We even brought some duck eggs home.

We loved everything about the camp site. The view was absolutely stunning we couldn't get enough of it. All the amenities were so nice, they really had everything thought of barely need to bring anything extra. We just wanted a private get away from the city and it was absolutely perfect. Oh and the little Birthday welcome sign really made our stay feel special for our celebration.<3

Sitting on the little porch at the yurt entrance drinking coffee and looking at the farm silos and the mountains was heavenly! We had wonderful time learning about milk from Jim as he milked the cows! We even bought fresh bacon and sausage! Peaceful and beautiful! Love the area and the people who live there. Thank you!

We loved spending the weekend at the yurt on Heather’s land. It was peaceful, clean, and had everything we needed for a few nights in the woods. It was easy to get to! The outdoor shower was our favorite!

Had a great time at this campsite! Heather was an extremely responsive host and was available if I needed anything. The campsite was extremely clean and had more than I could have wanted! The flushable toilet, hot water shower, and gas stove made everything so convenient and comfortable. It was a bit dark at night, so make sure to bring your own lantern. I also purchased food from Heather’s family farm and it was delicious. I would definitely stay here again!

Really great campsite. Had absolutely everything you need. Hot shower, flushable toilet, gas stove with fully stocked cookware and other kitchen items (and separate area with firepit with 2 separate hand movable grills to put over the fire at different levels). The bed inside the tent was incredibly comfortable! We saw a whole bunch of animals during our stay. They have milking cows that come right up to you for petting, and beef cows as well. We also saw their 2 pigs and a bunch of wild animals (3 deer, 2 turkey, a porcupine and a woodpecker). We bought some of their sausages steaks and eggs which were great! We stayed in site 2 which was surrounded by trees making for excellent shade. The other site is pretty much out in the open so if you want some shade def pick site 2. The only thing missing were lanterns or fixed lights. The site gets almost pitch black at night save for some tiny lights around the kitchen bathhouse and outhouse areas which really don't light the place up at all. They had some led’s with motion sensors which would have been fine if they actually worked continuously but it really wasn’t a big deal, just a bit odd considering how the rest of the site is really above and beyond with creature comforts. Just bring a couple of lanterns and a flashlight (which you should really be bringing camping with you anyway). Would definitely consider this place again!

We had an amazing time at the site. It was beautiful and very private. Everything you needed was provided and it was all clean and organized. Our dog had a blast hanging out at the site and at the barn.

Wonderful camping site! Our hosts thought of everything to make their spot comfortable. The hot outdoor shower and kitchenette were delightful creature comforts. And the yurt was very cozy! There's a great deal of privacy too to relax and soak up the forest.

Had an amazing weekend away from the normal busy life. The yurt is perfectly tucked away giving you a very private feeling and all the accommodations that come with it are fantastic. Everything was ready for us when we got there which made packing so much easier as well. The area is beautiful and could not recommend this enough.

The accommodations here are exactly as described; In addition there are many unexpected details to make the stay comfortable and convenient. The hosts were very gracious! As an often camper it is amazing to have all the equipment provided and assembled - a real Glamping experience.

That was a good surprise to us. Very clean and well organized. We have very comfortable bed, blankets and comforters! In the early morning, record down to about 50 Fahrenheit, but it was still very comfortable inside. The location is very isolated with a lot of shade and very quiet! We can be totally off the grid as there was barely any wireless signal. Solar panel powers, a little bit of light in the yurt, the kitchen and the bathroom, A great place to go green completely!

The Yurt was so cozy and really made it truly “glamping”. The outdoor kitchen, shower, and actual flushing toilet was perfect and everything you need. We wouldn’t have changed one thing. The land around was cool to explore and farm experience was something we won’t forget!

One of the best experience every for my 8 year old daughter and I. We were changed by this experience. Kim and Jim are very kind-hearted and loving, that alone is such a treat, but we also got to experience the joy of their animals and land. We learned so much about cow milking and got to bond with the cows. Jim also took the time to show us all around the farm and give us a great sense of history and connection. It made my daughter feel more confident by having experienced this. We enjoyed the kitchen and shower so much too. We love their food and milk and we will DEFINITELY come back as soon as possible, So much gratitude to the family.

This is a beautiful, private spot. Lots of trees fir shade and various birds. Even an Owl hooted for us. The yurt is spacious, clean, equipped with bed/pillows and throws. The cooking area has two burners and gas, a sink with hot water and a few things we forgot lime skewers and foil! Theres a shower with hot water and a toilet that flushes! Everything was clean. The little box of games was fun before bedtime. Hostess was communicative and friendly. Watched the milking if cows and learned about the farm history. Its a lovely site. Host was upfront about the mud driveway in. It was muddy and did require 4-wheel drive as she stated. Between the fire pit, kitchen, shower/toilet areas and the yurt there is a nice gravel area. If it rains it will be muddy all around that. I would recommend this site. Its lovely
