We loved the site, such a beautiful location and beautiful views! Site was as described, they provided a couple different grill grates, and a cute table. The owner was communicative and helpful. It rained a lot but still had an awesome time!

Weekend Trip to The River's Edge

My son and I had a fantastic time. The campsite has an awesome view and access to the river. Thomas was a super attentive host and the site is decked out. The dining tent makes meal prep a breeze and has everything you need - brand new gas grill, pots, pans, cutlery etc. And a working refrigerator…only downside was it rendered my prized new Yeti cooler obsolete lol. You can park your car right at the site for easy car unpacking and repacking. The toilet tent was clean and convenient. Great kayaking rafting and hiking all close by. No cell service (which is honestly kind of great) but if you need the internet in a pinch super easy to pop over to the Outpost restaurant up the road and plug into their WiFi. I’m hoping to go back and bring a bigger crew to enjoy the site as we had tons of extra room at the massive dining table!

2 nights at The Record Room

From NOFX to Lynyrd Skynyrd, listening to all of the albums on the record player was a dream! While we did go on an excursion to the Catskills, we could have stayed and enjoyed ourselves foreverrrr. Not only does the nature and cabin provide the most amazing backdrop for a getaway, but the Rio Dam, Hawks Nest Lookout, and Point Jarvis attractions are minutes away! Our two dogs LOVED the privacy of the spot, and we loved the outdoor kitchen, hot tub, and that bed was soooooo comfy! With the added perks of endless firewood and tiki lights, our stay on Masen's land was truly magical! Thank you for taking such good care of us!!

2 nights at Organic Farm in the Pocono Mts.

Nice spot with some great views of the Delaware valley. Old farmstead with fields to saunter in. Level site, big fire pit and lots of space to relax. Goats are great for kids to mingle with. Tons of berry bushes if you’re there in June/July. Easy access off 209 (though you can hear some traffic at night). Waterfront park just down the road. Water Gap is 10 mins away. Driveway is steep, be careful in wet weather. Some poison ivy around if allergic, so be careful in spring. Certainly a place we may revisit in another season.

Such a magical, serene camp spot wedged between those rumbling creeks. Gentle and lush. Lots of privacy. The hosts were lovely and welcoming. The property is out of a fairytale.

Dans campsite is very nice :) He was very responsive and helpful. Anything question we had he was super kind and would help instantly. The porta potty bathrooms were all very clean and always stocked with toilet paper. Even on a holiday weekend. The river access was easy to get to and very pretty. A surprise to us was fresh eggs when you get there. Unfortunately we didn’t get any because they’re first come first serve but it was cool to see they had that service! My group and I went rafting and that was great, there could be a tiny bit more warning signs on where to get off, there’s 1 warning sign and then you see another spot with maybe 3-4 signs and if you miss it your at the next camp site not to far away lol. I think he said we was going to put a small kayak there but forgot but we’re not picky people, not the end of the world. I would 100% recommend this site to others!

Weekend Trip to SPACIOUS CAMPING at Private Lake

We loved tent camping at the lake! We had an amazing time. Most of our time was spent down at the gazebo by the lake which has electricity and is a great spot to get out of the sun and into the shade. We took out the paddle boat and canoe several times during our stay and the lake is beautiful. Our first morning there it was cold but we still jumped off the dock and into the lake which is very very clean by the way. We did take several walks around the property and noticed chipmunks, multiple types of birds, frogs, and deer. We can’t wait to come back and are already planning our next trip! I would recommend this spot to anyone who loves camping near the water.

It was so peaceful and serene. The grounds are lovely to walk around and explore, and the sound of the stream is soothing at night when sleeping. I feel completely recharged after a night here with my furbabies!

The property was well maintained and comfortable and Chris and Jackie were so hospitable, always stopping by to make sure we had all we needed. Our site had plenty of space and the property does not hold a lot of campers so we never felt like we were “apartment camping.” We were traveling with young kids and the nice open space was great for them to play baseball, soccer, lacrosse, etc. we also had two dogs with us and they were so happy to be on cozy grass with a wooded area close by. My family thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and we were close to all the activities we wanted to participate in.

We loved staying at Stonehedge Gardens! This property is a magical haven rich with inspiring history, collaborative community, and intentional design. Tom is an absolute gem who goes above and beyond to provide an exceptional experience. We parked our van in one corner of the field near the back of the property and appreciated all the open space. Trails leading into the gardens wind around beautifully landscaped ponds with gorgeous camp sites tucked between the trees. It’s a perfect retreat from Philadelphia and we will be returning as soon as possible with friends in tow!

Had a blast! The creek was close to the site where we saw a fawn was enjoying the sunshine. The grounds were beautiful and well kept. There's a teepee and yurt. Bathrooms were clean, the camp kitchen was great feature, and there's a dumpster at the front. Only thing to be mindful of is that some of the sites are a little close. Nothing like a typical campground but good to know. Tom the host walked us around to pick our site so it's just what hasn't been grabbed but he checked on us daily which was nice. The little town is close if you forget anything.

Unique and wonderful camping experience. Jeremy was an attentive host and staying at his tree house was a pleasure. We had 2 families/ 4 kids all together, meeting the 8ppl max for the space. We all fit !! Having the linens and pillows provided was super convenient and we appreciated the quality. Our camp time was a chilly Memorial Day weekend, but I could picture this location being fun in all seasons. There was a little pond, a fun hike on the property leading to a creek (about a mile there), and the kids were happily exploring the whole trip.

Thomas was a great host and has a great property on the river that made our camping experience super smooth and enjoyable. The River's Edge campsite was very private and had everything we needed (the BBQ was very nice to have), including a nice little pooled area to swim in that was protected. We were a group of 11 and there was plenty of space for everyone. There's no cell service (unless you have Verizon), so you get to totally unplug and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Thomas went above and beyond as a host, even obliging our request to do a last minute beer run for us as we had run out (and none of us were in a state to drive)! We would stay here again in a heartbeat :)

The River's Edge

The River's Edge campsites sit on the shoreline of the Delaware River at the western edge of New York State overlooking the mountains of Pennsylvania. Our canvas tents and open air platforms perch between the river and the former Delaware & Hudson Canal which was once was used to transport raw goods by barge to New York City via the 'port' of Port Jervis. The remnants of the canal walls are throughout the property including a 300 person theater which we created to both preserve and feature this industrial history. It also makes a great place for an event or a movie night. Today, the original canal towpath, along which barges would be pulled and floated downstream, is a trail that links all of the campsites over 5 acres and at the furthest end an eel fishing camp that is in operation from June to October (say 'hi' to Jim). In the early 1900s, the train replaced the canal as the primary method of moving goods into New York and if you are lucky — you will hear the train rumble by along the river on the Pennsylvania side. There is something spectacular in the absolute still and grandness of the river, the mountains and the ongoing industrial history of the valley. It is a reminder of the way things used to be. The farmhouse and cabins are located opposite the campsites on other side of route 97. Next to them are 50 acres of wild forest to hike and explore. These accommodations are great for guests who want more amenities but still with easy access to river. Pair campsites and cabins so that all your guests have their best experience. The history of the Pump House began in 1878, when three ambitious men hatched a plan for the world's first long-distance underground oil pipeline which would transport oil from well to refinery more quickly and efficiently than the horse-drawn wagons of the time. Pumping stations were needed every fifty miles along this long route to keep pressure on the pipeline so that the oil could reach its destination. Pump House Bed and Breakfast is one of the only properties in the country in which the both the original homes of the foremen and the large brick buildings remain. Doug, owner, has spent more than 20 years lovingly restoring these foreman houses as well as the large industrial brick buildings. The Brick Barn Hall once housed steam pumps to pressurize the pipe and keep the oil moving, and the Catawissa Cabin behind it served as the telegraph office. The Studio Hall contained boilers that produced the steam to power the pumps, while the adjoining Studio Cabin functioned as a blacksmith's workspace. Today, the buildings function as reception spaces for weddings and other special events, and house private suites as well as an art studio where Doug pursues his work and teaches drawing, ceramics, and stained glass classes. Our property has a vast collection of vintage, classic, and current vinyl albums that play solely from solar power. Our Property is 16 acres with direct access to state land and the Monguap River with hundreds of acres of woods for you to explore. The river is close enough to be seen and heard from the cabin, but the adventure of getting there is half the fun! The Delaware River is only 2 miles from our location, and River rafting is a big business around here. A small artesian-fed creek runs right next to the cabin. It lends to the relaxing sounds of water with many quaint spots for you to dip your toes into, paired with a wood-fired tub that can only be explained by experience. Wildlife can be seen and heard all around you. Make sure you download a bird identifier app! A queen temper-pedic bed and super comfy overstuffed futon will assure a good night's slumber. The Record Room's covered outdoor kitchen is designed to extend the awesome vibes into every meal.. (I.E. Flat top grill, single burner and stainless grate grill all powered by propane, cast iron frying pans, and utensils). Our outhouse is designed and maintained by the women of the family, and great pride is taken in making it a favorable experience. A small wood stove heats the Record Room on chilly mornings and nights. If you're looking for glamping, this is your place. We are always adding new features built from the sawmill operations of our homestead. We have a few spots available for your friend circle to pitch a tent and enjoy the experience with you. Feel free to reach out with any special requests; we enjoy a challenge! A basic convenience store can be located three miles to the right of our property with all your basic needs (including gas). For your grocery shopping, a small family-owned market can be found within 10 minutes up the road. Little Birds Farm

This campsite is nestled in the deep woods of a 120 acre farm that offers beautiful views coming and going. After being allowed to use the restroom at the stone farmhouse, you will then go rustic and start your 3/4 - 1 mile hike in (approximately 20 minutes to the campsite) past the fields and pond down the path into the woods. The trail is remote and you will instantly be able to leave the sights and sounds of civilization behind you and breath the clean forest air. Wear good hiking shoes because portions of the hike are uneven and rocky. This site is best for experienced campers who know how to pack light with just the essentials as there is no tractor service to this campsite. When you arrive at the campsite, you will be within 20 feet of a year round stream with brook trout and in a hundred foot tall hemlock canopy nestled between two brook meadows. A 9,000 acre forested preserve abuts our property so you will be able to completely relax, bird watch, enjoy the wildlife, or fish for a brook trout breakfast without hearing the sounds of anyone but yourselves. The campsite has a stone fire pit, split log benches for seating, a canvas privacy blind around a stand of trees where the composting toilet resides, and a food bag lift to attach your food and trash bags to about 100 yards from the campsite. Unlimited Split firewood is free next to where you will park that you can take down to the site. All trash needs to be carted out with you. We can't accept mixed trash as it will attract animals that will knock over the trashcans and make a mess. No food goes in our personal trashcans as we have learned this the hard way.
