44mi from Saylorsburg · 1 siteSeason opening April 1. Early spring conditions apply: the pond will be cold, nighttime temperatures can drop below freezing, and the ground may be muddy in spots. The upside — no bugs, quiet woods, and excellent wildlife activity.
The Lodge at Beaver Pond is a private, single-site retreat tucked in the woods just minutes from Honesdale and Lake Wallenpaupack. There are no other campsites here — you’ll have the pond and surrounding forest entirely to yourself.
Spend your days fishing, canoeing, and watching for bald eagles, beavers, ducks, deer, and the occasional black bear. In the evening, enjoy a campfire by the water before returning to a comfortable queen bed inside your canvas bell tent.
Two tranquil ponds provide excellent fishing and abundant wildlife. A canoe is available for guests who want to paddle, cast a line, or simply float and enjoy the quiet.
Inside the spacious bell tent you’ll find a queen-size bed with sheets, LED camp lighting, and basic kitchen equipment and utensils. Optional extras include a propane Buddy Heater, two luxury cots, and firewood. Pets are welcome.
Whether you're planning a romantic weekend, a quiet fishing trip, or a peaceful escape close to town, Beaver Pond offers privacy, comfort, and the stillness of the woods.
