We loved the site, such a beautiful location and beautiful views! Site was as described, they provided a couple different grill grates, and a cute table. The owner was communicative and helpful. It rained a lot but still had an awesome time!

Weekend Trip to The River's Edge

My son and I had a fantastic time. The campsite has an awesome view and access to the river. Thomas was a super attentive host and the site is decked out. The dining tent makes meal prep a breeze and has everything you need - brand new gas grill, pots, pans, cutlery etc. And a working refrigerator…only downside was it rendered my prized new Yeti cooler obsolete lol. You can park your car right at the site for easy car unpacking and repacking. The toilet tent was clean and convenient. Great kayaking rafting and hiking all close by. No cell service (which is honestly kind of great) but if you need the internet in a pinch super easy to pop over to the Outpost restaurant up the road and plug into their WiFi. I’m hoping to go back and bring a bigger crew to enjoy the site as we had tons of extra room at the massive dining table!

Weekend Trip to RoundStone

What a perfect little piece of Heaven. Bear View did NOT disappoint. It’s nestled deep in the woods and has the beautiful sounds of wildlife and nature (the creek). We had rain for 70% of our stay but still had a blast and will for sure be back!

2 nights at 100 Mile View Camping

Me and my daughter spent 2 nights. At rustic 1 campsite. We loved it so much that we didn’t want to leave. Owner Jake was very nice, polite and attentive this whole time. He would stop several times a day to make sure that we had everything that we need. He made us feel very comfortable and safe since it was our first time camping. Thank you Jake! We’ll definitely be back.

2 nights at The Record Room

From NOFX to Lynyrd Skynyrd, listening to all of the albums on the record player was a dream! While we did go on an excursion to the Catskills, we could have stayed and enjoyed ourselves foreverrrr. Not only does the nature and cabin provide the most amazing backdrop for a getaway, but the Rio Dam, Hawks Nest Lookout, and Point Jarvis attractions are minutes away! Our two dogs LOVED the privacy of the spot, and we loved the outdoor kitchen, hot tub, and that bed was soooooo comfy! With the added perks of endless firewood and tiki lights, our stay on Masen's land was truly magical! Thank you for taking such good care of us!!

2 nights at Organic Farm in the Pocono Mts.

Nice spot with some great views of the Delaware valley. Old farmstead with fields to saunter in. Level site, big fire pit and lots of space to relax. Goats are great for kids to mingle with. Tons of berry bushes if you’re there in June/July. Easy access off 209 (though you can hear some traffic at night). Waterfront park just down the road. Water Gap is 10 mins away. Driveway is steep, be careful in wet weather. Some poison ivy around if allergic, so be careful in spring. Certainly a place we may revisit in another season.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the 100 Mile View Campground in Jim Thorpe, PA, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and the stunning natural beauty that surrounds this campground. One of the highlights of our stay was the unique wine tasting experience offered right on site. It was a delight to sample a variety of local wines, and the ability to purchase our favorites made it even better. Enjoying a glass of exquisite wine while taking in the breathtaking views was truly magical! Speaking of views, 100 Mile View Campground lives up to its name. The panoramic vistas of the surrounding mountains and valleys are nothing short of spectacular. We spent our evenings sitting by the campfire, soaking in the scenery and watching the sunset paint the sky in brilliant hues. The campground itself is well-maintained, with spacious sites that offer plenty of privacy. The facilities are clean and convenient, enhancing our overall comfort during the stay. Whether you’re an avid camper or new to the experience, this campground provides a perfect blend of relaxation and adventure. For anyone looking for a getaway that combines nature, wine, and stunning landscapes, I highly recommend 100 Mile View Campground. I can’t wait to return!

4 nights at Pocono Point

Super friendly staff. They hosted a lovely Memorial Day event, too! Great location for exploring Jim Thorpe, Lehighton and Stroudsburg. We journeyed here as a family with two RVs and had two sites. I think we all preferred the Pull thru site to hang out at. It does take folks a few tries to get their Rigs aligned and level. There is a nice dog area, highway noise wasn’t that impactful and we enjoyed our stay. We would recommend it!

We had such a wonderful stay at this spot! Everything about it felt welcoming and peaceful. Her dog, Little Bear, completely stole our hearts. The site was incredibly relaxing. We spent hours just sitting beside the water listening to it trickle by. You can tell a lot of care and intention goes into making this a special place for all.

The property was well maintained and comfortable and Chris and Jackie were so hospitable, always stopping by to make sure we had all we needed. Our site had plenty of space and the property does not hold a lot of campers so we never felt like we were “apartment camping.” We were traveling with young kids and the nice open space was great for them to play baseball, soccer, lacrosse, etc. we also had two dogs with us and they were so happy to be on cozy grass with a wooded area close by. My family thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and we were close to all the activities we wanted to participate in.

My wife and I spent a wonderful Memorial Day weekend here. Leading up to the trip, Mel was responsive and helpful. When we arrived, the land was beautiful with every site sitting by the creekside. Mel helped us move our things in with her four wheeler making setup a breeze. She was attentive and friendly throughout the stay and we enjoyed every minute of our time there. We will definitely be back!

We loved staying at Stonehedge Gardens! This property is a magical haven rich with inspiring history, collaborative community, and intentional design. Tom is an absolute gem who goes above and beyond to provide an exceptional experience. We parked our van in one corner of the field near the back of the property and appreciated all the open space. Trails leading into the gardens wind around beautifully landscaped ponds with gorgeous camp sites tucked between the trees. It’s a perfect retreat from Philadelphia and we will be returning as soon as possible with friends in tow!

Always working on improvements! My second glamping site "The Medieval Encampment", is available for booking starting April 1st of 2025. I will have more pictures soon. In April of 2024, my long awaited 1st Glamping site was available for booking. It's been very popular! Please read the description carefully of the "Gypsy Rose Vardo", to see if it's the right fit for you. I also have 10 large camping sites available on our 33 acre property located in Northwest NJ. Sites 1 through 4 are on mowed, fairly level fields and are large enough for campers or RV's up to 30ft, or a couple of tents, and sites 5 and 6 are further back in the woods, available only for a few small tents, sites 7 through 10 are much further into the property and are only accessible with a high clearance AWD or 4WD SUV or you can park and hike your gear in. There are 3 compost toilet outhouses spread out through the property, so it's an easy walking distance from any site. Although we are only 2 1/2 miles from a main highway, the last 2 miles are on a dirt road with no houses. We are surrounded by protected land, so no neighbors and lots of wildlife, including the occasional bear, coyote or raccoon. Keep all food items secured. Because we are surrounded by protected land we are not sprayed for insects, so be safe and do tick checks often and bring the bug spray. We are 45 minutes from NYC or the Delaware Water Gap and an hour away from the NJ shore. There are horse farms nearby that offer trail rides. We are also close to the Highland and Appalachian Hiking trails. There are two reservoirs within a 20-minute drive for canoeing or kayaking. There are walking trails through our property, including a ten-minute hike on a marked trail to a small waterfall in a ravine.

The location could not be better or more private. Our family for years have camped and played at these site, enjoying the river and night sounds. We are a working Christmas Tree farm as well. Truly private camping, not a commercial camp ground. Very few camping sites exist where you can just have your own space, but you may have it here. My family are stewards to this wonderful farm, and are thrilled to share it with you. We want you to chill and to find tranquility, to respect our sites and make memories that are treasured. Because we are a tree farm, we cannot allow you to bring wood from other locations on to the farm. Wood is for sale here and we request a pre order so we can have it ready at your site. All sites have a picnic table, a Hawk Shadow Out House, water to wash things, a preparation table and a good bundle of kindling to start off your camping experience. There Is a shovel, cooking grates, log benches and a neat campfire ring. Potable water is available at the farm and you may refill when needed. Campsite #1 (Lean To Site) This site is along the river. It is private and lovely. You may park your car above the site and walk down to the river and camping area. Short, 50 yards, but a steepish walk. Pack in and out accordingly. Very private, lots of space. It is perfect. Campsite #2 (Dog Gone Site) This site is also along the river. It is private and has the same set up as site one. Park your car on top of hill and walk on down. It is a lovely spot. Walk is about 50 yards down a steep hill. Pack accordingly. Campsite #3 (High Site) Site 3 is above the river and looks over Hawk Mountain and the farm. It is private with beautiful views. Unreal full moon gazing............. Sunrise, Sunset, Moon rise, Bird watching, all very visible from this site. Car accessible, no walking to campsite required. At all sites, different seasons bring different activities. Spring: Kayaking, fishing and hiking. Summer: hiking, fishing in the pond, cooling off in the swim hole. Fall: raptor watching, hiking, biking plus fishing, (license required), in the Little Schuylkill. The nights are dark with star lit skies. We have a 1.5 acre bass pond on the farm for fishing, so bring your rod. Big bass in there!! Your camp site is surrounded by woods and forest, fields and trees. You are a two hour drive from center city Philadelphia and 2.5 hours from down town New York City. One hour from Harrisburg. What to do here? Plenty! Hiking! Cabins have electric, but no indoor plumbing. Porta-Johns are available throughout the grounds. (Some sites are closer to port-a-johns than others.) We do not provide potable water or showers for tent campers but we allow responsible use of the stream for cleaning. Cabins have a rustic outdoor shower available May-October. Most sites are 100+ yards apart, but you may hear some noise carrying from neighboring sites. Please inquire for camper vans and pop ups. - FIREWOOD: Due to the threat of invasive pests, we do not allow firewood to be transported onto the grounds. We have firewood for sale for $7 per crate. The River's Edge

The River's Edge campsites sit on the shoreline of the Delaware River at the western edge of New York State overlooking the mountains of Pennsylvania. Our canvas tents and open air platforms perch between the river and the former Delaware & Hudson Canal which was once was used to transport raw goods by barge to New York City via the 'port' of Port Jervis. The remnants of the canal walls are throughout the property including a 300 person theater which we created to both preserve and feature this industrial history. It also makes a great place for an event or a movie night. Today, the original canal towpath, along which barges would be pulled and floated downstream, is a trail that links all of the campsites over 5 acres and at the furthest end an eel fishing camp that is in operation from June to October (say 'hi' to Jim). In the early 1900s, the train replaced the canal as the primary method of moving goods into New York and if you are lucky — you will hear the train rumble by along the river on the Pennsylvania side. There is something spectacular in the absolute still and grandness of the river, the mountains and the ongoing industrial history of the valley. It is a reminder of the way things used to be. The farmhouse and cabins are located opposite the campsites on other side of route 97. Next to them are 50 acres of wild forest to hike and explore. These accommodations are great for guests who want more amenities but still with easy access to river. Pair campsites and cabins so that all your guests have their best experience. The Lookout

Our property consists of 20 acres of the beautiful Blue Mountain. At the Lookout you can see for 40 Miles across the valley below. With views from Allentown, Lyons and Reading. At the bottom of the mountain there is a Gunclub with a shooting range and you will hear shooting from the property. Please note it is far away and there is no danger Our property is mostly the mountain side. But with an area that is flat for tent camping. The property is close to Route 309 but there is a camping area away from the road. Our land is next to the road and you will hear some road noise. We are next to National Parks land which also consists of the Appalachian Trail and also against the Pennsylvania Game Lands. You can walk up the street or trail to Thunderhead Lodge Restaurant. Leaser lake is a short drive if you like fishing or kayaking. The Wanamakers Store is a unique place to visit with amazing sandwiches. The Wanamakers and Kemton railroad is close by for a weekend train ride. Bear Rock Junction is close by for mini golf and ice cream. Eight Oaks Distillery is only a few minutes away. Several wineries and antique shops as well. You may also see Appalachian Trail Thru Hikers come thru our property to stay at the hostel. Please welcome our hikers as they come to rest their weary bodies. Welcome to the Lookout. We have made many improvements to our land but also try to maintain the beauty it is. We plan to keep upgrading our property. We plan to use the land for Recreational activites. We have a Hiker Hostel in the Building.
