We call our 10 acre, secluded property Cold Springs. We have spent 15 years here curating lovely areas to relax, party at and invite others to call it a home away from home. The camping areas are in the back of the property and are surrounded by woods and secluded from view of the house. There are paths leading to the pond which is a great reading area and fishing spot plus a canoe and paddleboat to enjoy. Last summer (2022) we added a tipi to the camping area. Enjoy the private back acre of our 2-acre parcel. RV parking is separated from the main house by a barn and Morton building. Set up camp overlooking what used to be a grassy yard, but is now a walkable wildflower meadow. Enjoy the meadow paths and entire property's yard. Pets are welcome, but must be leashed at all times - our dog is friendly, but will also be leashed when outside.
The house and barn were built in the late 1800s and are currently being restored. There will be no construction activity during your stay, but there may be assorted projects in process visible near buildings. Please do not enter buildings unless accompanied by a property owner.
Many restaurants, breweries, distilleries and parks are just minutes away in Bellefonte! When visiting them, we recommend going straight out of our driveway onto Clemens instead of turning right onto Valentine Hill. Valentine has tight turns that are a challenge to navigate in an RV or with a trailer.

There are 3 campsites and one cabin located in the gap of the little Mahanoy Mountain and line Mountain range along the little Mahanoy creek. All four campsites have creek access and come with picnic table garbage can and fire ring and Firewood is usually available. There are two Porta potty‘s one located at each end of the sites. There are trails for hiking which extends along an abandoned railroad bed and also up into State game lands and into the deep woods. The hiking in the woods is on an incline. But the hiking on the railroad bed is pretty unintense. There is parking at each site. The sites are spread out along the creek bed ranging from more of a rustic primitive tent camping on site 4 to an open site on site 1.

Absolutely beautiful experience. Great value. Will definitely be back. We will try the cabin next time we can. Used the camper this time. Camper had heat. Its quiet up there and Absolutely beautiful. Emus were fun to watch and just coming running when they see you. Couldn't have ask for a better experience. Weather was a little chilly Saturday but thats not their fault and the fact the heat worked was helpful. One small note. If you have physical disabilities, it can be alot of walking but you can drive your vehicle right to the toilet. Everything else is some walking.

We had a great weekend here with our two dogs and our teardrop camper. The amenities were as described in the listing. (Electric hook up, water available a very short walk away, no bathroom.) Thomas was very helpful, chill, and personable!
The winery property was extremely busy both days we were there with a local dance company hosting their spring show at the performance stage on the other side of the property. We could hear the music, but even with the hundreds of people just a few hundred yards away, we felt tucked away in our little grassy corner, and we were still able to eat a couple of meals on the patio of the restaurant where there is an amazing view of the vineyard and the rolling hills in the distance. Both morning, we could hear turkeys gobbling in the trees not far off.
We did some hiking at nearby Shikellamy State Park m, and I squeezed in a nice, scenic, and hilly run down the back roads surrounding the winery. A great, relaxing stay in a beautiful location.

Great place to set up the RV for a hiking base camp. We were greeted by Russ as soon as we pulled in and he made sure that everything was good with the site and that all of our needs were met. Very attentive and accommodating, something rare to find these days in a host/camp manager. Nothing but 100%+ happy with staying at this place. Thanks again for a great stay. We will be returning.

We absolutely LOVED staying at the barn! It was very secluded and we got to enjoy a beautiful countryside view. There’s a really nice firepit to have a campfire at while you watch the stars at night. Super easy to get to, nice flat level concrete pad with 30amp hookups along with sewer and water. Lots of space for parking. We had no issues and we have a 46ft beast of a 5th wheel! Ben and his family were so sweet and helpful. We stayed for 2 weeks. We also travel with 2 big shepherds and a medium sized dog. They loved running and playing in the fields!

This is the perfect choice for anyone looking to fully experience the peace and quiet of nature. It was an amazing environment for a relaxing getaway with our dog, Luna.
The cabin was well-stocked with absolutely everything we needed. Even though it’s in the mountains, the shower was fantastic—plenty of hot water and great water pressure! The manager was incredibly kind and helpful, which made our stay even better. We made great memories here and would absolutely love to visit again.

All of the awesome reviews for this campsite are spot on! Beautiful, large site on the creek, tucked below the opposite bank, very private. Sat outside my tent and watched a small wading bird feeding in the shallows and a mom Mergenser leading her 11 chicks upstream. The creek flowing by was music for sleep. Great stay! The cabin was exactly as described and offered the perfect escape from the crowds. The interior was cozy with everything you needed for a stay regardless of timeframe; Theresa was incredibly communicative and welcoming. I especially enjoyed the secluded atmosphere of the cabin and variety of unique animals on property. I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for serenity and a unique experience.
