Guest access Guests are welcome to explore the entirety of our A-frame cabin and the surrounding 4.56 acres of wilderness, including the private pond, paddleboat, and fire pit area. However, please note that access to neighboring properties is prohibited. Other things to note Please note: Check-in and check-out times are at the stated times. While dogs are welcome, they are not permitted on the bed. Additionally, smoking is not allowed inside the A-frame. Please refrain from playing loud music and be respectful of our neighbors' tranquility. We look forward to hosting you and ensuring a peaceful and enjoyable stay. House Rules: - Smoking is not allowed inside the cabin. - Please respect the neighbors and maintain a low noise level during these hours. - Parties and events are not allowed unless explicitly approved by the host. - Ensure the door remains closed when the air conditioning or heating is on. Fire Pit Use and Safety: - A fire pit is available for guest use. Guests are responsible for using the fire pit safely and must follow all local fire regulations and any property-specific instructions provided. - Fires must be kept small and contained within the fire pit. The fire should never be left unattended, and water or an extinguisher must be kept nearby. Fires must be fully extinguished before leaving the area or going to sleep. - Never leave the fire unattended. Ensure the fire is completely out before leaving the area. Please adhere to any local fire regulations and burn bans. - Do not burn any materials other than firewood. The use of flammable liquids or other accelerants is strictly prohibited. - The host is not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or property damage resulting from the use of the fire pit. Guests use the fire pit at their own risk and assume all responsibility for its safe operation. - Tip: Choosing the right wood is an important part of fire pit safety, and that means using seasoned hardwoods. DO NOT USE Pine as it burns significantly faster and hotter than many other varieties of lumber, making it a poor choice for fire pits. Also, only use wood that fits entirely in your pit and doesn’t stick out. Swimming/Paddle Boat Use: - Guests may use the paddle boat provided at the property, but do so at their own risk. All users must wear life jackets, which are provided, at all times while using the boat. When done, return the boat to the shore. Do not overload the boat and avoid standing while in the boat. - Swimming is allowed in designated areas, but it is at the guest’s own risk. There are no lifeguards on duty, and guests are responsible for their own safety and the safety of all members of their party, including children. - The host assumes no responsibility for accidents, injuries, or deaths resulting from the use of the paddle boat, swimming, or any water-related activities. Guests agree to release the host from any liability related to such activities Grill: Clean the grill grates with the brush provided. Dispose of any charcoal ashes in the designated bin. Never leave the grill unattended while it is in use. Use heat-resistant gloves when handling hot parts of the grill. Wildlife Warning: - The property is located in a natural setting where local wildlife may be present, including but not limited to deer, foxes, coyotes, bears, raccoons, and insects. Nestled outside the village of Stillwater, NJ right across the Appalachian trail and the Kittatinny Mountain Ridge, Camp David sports three luxurious log cabins: > Bell's Cabin- Main cabin that sleeps up to six > The Chatham House- Sleeps up to ten > Chief's Cottage- sleeps up to ten All cabins have their own separate listing and can be booked together or combined. The main cabin, Belle's Cabin, is made from hand hewed logs and is the only cabin furnished with a king size bed. All cabins come equipped with full bathrooms, updated kitchens, wood stoves, and the main cabin has a walkout porch on the second floor. All cabins have climate controlled heating/cooling units as well as hot water. Camp David was originally a German hunting camp at the turn of the 20th century. It was later donated to the Boy Scouts in the 1940’s. By the 2000’s, it was left abandoned at which time I purchased it and began to restore it back to its true form while maintaining the cabin life integrity. I am a contractor and arborist by trade and the last ten years I have worked hard to bring the site back to life. The camp consists of 13 acres abutted by 100's of acres of state park land. There are two stocked ponds connected by a cascading stream, multiple fire pits with seating, furnished gazebo with wood stove, picnic tables, and multiple park benches located throughout the property. The woodfire stove in the yurt was to die for - the skylight view was amazing, especially during a bout of snow. The land was quiet, beautiful, and close enough to drive to anything you needed quickly. The sounds of nature existing around you pour through the yurt, run through it like water through a stream, pulling you closer to it and dissolving the separation of yourself from it. While easy to use your phone, perhaps consider a time to put it down and be with yourself, your loved one(s), and to step back from the onslaught of technology and back to a time of just existing - of talking truly, of writing, of reading, of pondering, of meditating, of experiencing the world the way it was meant to be - with your true senses, not with distractions of the modern world, or the onslaught of awful happenings in the world.

What a magical place. We decided to book a trip for our son’s 5th birthday and the site was everything a little boy dreams of. From the bunk beds with true tree limbs to the hidden beds above the kitchen area- it was perfect! It is certainly thought out and a lot of love was put into the building process. Jeremy was great with supplying firewood and amble cooking equipment which made it easy to not have to leave for anything extra one may need. Highly recommend paying a visit!

Such a great place! It has a perfect balance between camping and glamping. The Orchard tiny house was perfect for us (family of four), pretty secluded and private and beautifully located in the middle of the woods. It has a nice mattres, a table with benches and board games to enjoy. The fire pit and the picnic table are also very useful. We brought our own sleeping bags and blankets for the night, and meat for dinner and had a great time

Incredibly beautiful farm in a charming part of the Catskills, just a couple hours outside NYC. The cabins are really nice and tastefully set up and the kitchen and outhouse worked for our purposes. We were a large group and rented all four cabins on an extremely cold weekend in February. We expected it to be cold and it was (there's no heating in the cabins), but we were prepared with warm clothes and good gear. The place was snowed over and it was too icy to drive onto the property, and there wasn't running water due to the freezing temperatures, but the hosts were communicative ahead of time about all of this, responsive to questions, and very helpful. We were delighted to encounter peacocks and a bunch of hogs roaming around. Some of the hosts' dogs were unfriendly at times, which was a little unnerving.

Perfect cozy cabin for a weekend getaway!! The instructions on how to get there were very clear. Everything was clean and ready for us. Fresh folded towels for the kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen was stocked with pots, pans, mixing bowls, and anything you would have in a kitchen back home! We had fun with the puzzle and mancala by the fire when the snow was too much to hike in. We even saw some animal tracks coming right up to the door at night! The back of the property was so peaceful to hike and the frozen waterfalls were beautiful. Kat was so responsive when we had a problem and came right over to help us out! My only regret is not staying long enough!! We will definitely be back!! 10/10 host and cabin🖤🖤

We had an excellent time staying at Bell’s Cabin. David was a great host and the property is beautiful. We are already talking about when we can visit again. Our trip was very relaxed, playing board games and enjoying the cabin fireplace. The full kitchen was clean and well-stocked with equipment. The cabin was very comfortable, with multiple nice beds and a very nice bathroom. It’s clear that the property is well-taken care of. I would recommend this location to anyone looking for a relaxed and comfortable time in the woods.

The RV had everything me and my family of 4 needed! Queen bedroom and two bunk beds. Everything was very clean and organized. The host even started us off with some firewood. We ended up having hotdogs and nachos outside and cozied up indoors for game night afterward. It’s also really close to Blue Mountain, we had gone snowtubing that morning. Comfortable night stay. The location of the campground is close to the freeway so it doesn’t have that forest seclusion if you don’t mind. We had access to the clubhouse with public restrooms and showers and a game room with a pool table for $2 per play. it was a great experience!

10 minute drive to Mountain Creek Ski and Mountain Biking/Water Park and Crystal Springs Resort. 20 minutes from the Appalachian Trail. We have a very large backyard in a peaceful neighborhood. Part of our yard is secluded from the road. An average of 6 cars pass each day. There are homes within view but you will have enough distance from them to have privacy. The yard is surrounded by large trees and lots of shrubs. The grass is lush and organically grown. Across the street is a path into the woods that leads to a beautiful river with spots to soak, relax, and cool down. We have live, 24/7, cameras set up to watch the entrances to our property and home for everyone's security. There are no cameras set up at the sites for your privacy. Come view the Peak Fall Foliage!

This campsite is nestled in the deep woods of a 120 acre farm that offers beautiful views coming and going. After being allowed to use the restroom at the stone farmhouse, you will then go rustic and start your 3/4 - 1 mile hike in (approximately 20 minutes to the campsite) past the fields and pond down the path into the woods. The trail is remote and you will instantly be able to leave the sights and sounds of civilization behind you and breath the clean forest air. Wear good hiking shoes because portions of the hike are uneven and rocky. This site is best for experienced campers who know how to pack light with just the essentials as there is no tractor service to this campsite. When you arrive at the campsite, you will be within 20 feet of a year round stream with brook trout and in a hundred foot tall hemlock canopy nestled between two brook meadows. A 9,000 acre forested preserve abuts our property so you will be able to completely relax, bird watch, enjoy the wildlife, or fish for a brook trout breakfast without hearing the sounds of anyone but yourselves. The campsite has a stone fire pit, split log benches for seating, a canvas privacy blind around a stand of trees where the composting toilet resides, and a food bag lift to attach your food and trash bags to about 100 yards from the campsite. Unlimited Split firewood is free next to where you will park that you can take down to the site. All trash needs to be carted out with you. We can't accept mixed trash as it will attract animals that will knock over the trashcans and make a mess. No food goes in our personal trashcans as we have learned this the hard way. The River's Edge campsites sit on the shoreline of the Delaware River at the western edge of New York State overlooking the mountains of Pennsylvania. Our canvas tents and open air platforms perch between the river and the former Delaware & Hudson Canal which was once was used to transport raw goods by barge to New York City via the 'port' of Port Jervis. The remnants of the canal walls are throughout the property including a 300 person theater which we created to both preserve and feature this industrial history. It also makes a great place for an event or a movie night. Today, the original canal towpath, along which barges would be pulled and floated downstream, is a trail that links all of the campsites over 5 acres and at the furthest end an eel fishing camp that is in operation from June to October (say 'hi' to Jim). In the early 1900s, the train replaced the canal as the primary method of moving goods into New York and if you are lucky — you will hear the train rumble by along the river on the Pennsylvania side. There is something spectacular in the absolute still and grandness of the river, the mountains and the ongoing industrial history of the valley. It is a reminder of the way things used to be. The farmhouse and cabins are located opposite the campsites on other side of route 97. Next to them are 50 acres of wild forest to hike and explore. These accommodations are great for guests who want more amenities but still with easy access to river. Pair campsites and cabins so that all your guests have their best experience. This campsite provides a great location to use as a base for day hikes. The tent site is situated beneath a canopy of two large Red Oak trees. This property was formerly a farm and has since grown back to a pioneer Hardwood Forest. There are stone rows throughout the farm and some areas that have been cleared of invasive vegetation and planted with native grasses to enhance the deer population. We suggest day hikes such as Catfish Fire Tower, Van Campen's Glen, and Buttermilk Falls. Here's a list of our recommendations for hiking, fishing, and just plain old exploring: The Delaware Water Gap National Recreational Area (DWG) and nearby Walpack Fish and Wildlife Management Area in Layton have many hiking trails (See the National Park Service's website). Great areas for sightseeing, hiking, biking, fishing, hunting. Buttermilk Falls, (find the trailhead on) Mountain Road in Layton. Hike to the top of the beautiful waterfalls near Walpack and take a 6.8 mile loop trail to Crater Lake. Walpack Inn, National Park Service Rd 615, Layton. A beautiful restaurant with an entire back wall of windows with a view of the Kittatinny Valley. The Walpack is open on weekends for dinner only. Appalachian Trail (AT). Check out the AMC Mohican Outdoor Center located along the trail in Blairstown. The AT runs through the DWG. Offers hiking and sightseeing. Long Pine Pond amp; Crater Lake in Walpack. Both are spring fed and great for swimming and boating (clear water). Van Campen's Glen, Old Mine Road, Hardwick. The 2.1 mile loop trail features several cascades and waterfalls, a narrow stone valley, and a lush hemlock ravine. Catfish Fire Tower, Millbrook Road, Hardwick. A rocky 2.0 or longer 4.4 mile hike to the top of the ridge. Great views on NJ and PA. Also check out "Hiking Our Preserves" on the Ridge and Valley Conservancy's website for information on 4 local hiking trails. Delaware River- Great for swimming, boating, tubing, canoeing, fishing. Keep your eye out for Bald Eagles! White Lake - 97 Stillwater Rd. Hardwick, NJ 07825. The Paulinskill (Blairstown) and FlatBrook (Old Mine Road, Hardwick) rivers are local spots for trout fishing. On Saturdays during the summer, you may want to try out the Blairstown Farmers Market on Stillwater Road. Hours 9:30 to 1:00 pm.
