Randall’s site is truly paradise. It’s located in a very private area with gorgeous waterfalls and shallow pools to wade in. The site had tons of amenities including a running sink and shower. There was a large igloo container of drinking water, bbq grill and a heater in the tent as well. We opted to rent bedding and were plenty warm with the blankets provided but were also given sleeping bags in case it was too cold. The heater kept us nice and cozy. Randy was easy to communicate with and responded in a reasonable amount of time. He even contacted me before we left to see what time we would arrive. We ended up getting there pretty late (9:30pm) and he even met us on the main road to lead us to the tent site and show us around. When we got there, a fire was already started in the fire pit. We had the best time and will definitely be back with the rest of our family! Thanks so much for your hospitality Randy!

The directions and check in went well and Randall met us at the site to welcome us and provide extra info on how some things worked. This site is beautiful and feels very secluded. The waterfalls are just a walk away from the campsite and made for the perfect sound to fall asleep to. We loved having zero cell service so we could truly unwind and forget about the outside world for a bit. The grill wasn’t really working (think the propane was low or out) but we made do with the grate over the fire pit with a pan we brought from home. Randall had a lot of things that helped us feel at home, like basic supplies, toilet paper, loo bags, and an oven mitt to help with the hot fire pit grate. The water was freezing this time of year but it was very refreshing. The bed was comfortable, the tent was well maintained, and we felt very safe at the site. Our favorite part was watching our dog frolic in the water while we drank our coffee and hung out by the fire down at the waterfall. It felt like 2 sites in one! I had a lot of fun bird watching and we saw some toads, but not much other wildlife was around or came near. This site is really special and I highly recommend booking it!

Paradise falls was an amazing experience! Plenty of waterfalls to explore and beautiful scenery. Randall and Terry were very welcoming and helped us with anything we needed without hesitation. They provide plenty of amenities and even firewood. I would definitely come up another time!

We had an amazing time! The highlight was wandering the stream and swimming in the swimming hole- a super short walk upstream past the pipe (which was deep enough to swim around in!!). Our dog especially loved playing in the water. We spent the entire first day in the water. It rained our second day, and was a little too cold for me to swim (although my boyfriend and dog braved it). We wished we had brought scrabble or some other rainy day games to play. Luckily Randall provided plenty of dry wood and kindling so we were able to keep the fire going once the rain slowed to a drizzle. The outhouse and warm shower were a nice convenience to have. And he included plenty of towels which were very appreciated! Hosts had great communication. The campsite was very private (but Randall and his brother were easy to reach). When we realized it was going to be a rainy day we drove into Hancock (10 min drive) and had breakfast outside on the porch of the Hancock House Hotel which allowed us to sit with our pup. Would definitely go back!

To echo an earlier review, I'm hesitant to say just how PERFECT this campsite is. Randall and Terry are just good, honest people and so generous in allowing others to enjoy their private peace of paradise. The site and amenities are so clean and well maintained. In the middle of the woods, who would expect a sink! A hot shower! A private loo!
And the waterfalls... the pictures honestly do not do them justice. We all enjoyed splashing and playing in the water, especially our 8-year-old German Shepherd, who LOVES water and literally cried when I said we were going home. Nights were so peaceful with the calming sound of the falls and the clear, starry sky. The best sleep I've had in a long while.
A few tips: Bring water shoes if you have them. Don't overpack. There's a great ice cream shack in Hancock on 97. No need for bug spray!

We absolutely loved the place; it's exactly as it appears in the photos. Randall was attentive to our needs throughout our stay. We loved the experience with the bears and the waterfalls. We fished freely. The only thing I recommend is that the place be a little cleaner.

Absolutely beautiful campsite. We were there after heavy rains and the falls were raging. The hosts have been very thoughtful providing accessories you might need and have tried to anticipate all needs. I’d be more effusive but I don’t want this spot to become so popular I can’t book again.

In Randall's land we feels super relax. Close beautiful nature falls. Clean clear water. Great for families and friends. Enjoy swimming and playing in the water.

Such a special place! We loved our stay at Paradise Falls. Plenty of privacy and space to explore and relax by the variety of falls along the creek. There’s a great swimming hole up the creek just past the pipeline. We usually do a lot of tent camping and it was great to have everything set up for us with thoughtful attention to details by the hosts Randall and Terry. Our dg had a great time as well. The hot outdoor shower was definitely a highlight! Hope to be back next year.

This site did not disappoint. The campsite is comfortable and well-appointed, and the surrounding nature is breathtaking!! I can’t wait to go back and explore more. The water is spring fed and “refreshing” (it takes some time to acclimate to, but it’s fun to wade in when you’re wildly hot and you need to cool off!) the evenings are cool and peaceful and the sounds of the falls are great white noise. There is so much thought put into this location, you almost don’t need to bring anything additional. (I did because I’m an over preparer and wasn’t sure what would be here.)
I used both fire pits (host graciously provides wood, kindling, fire starters, etc) and found a lovely spot to hang a hammock near the water that’s along a large rock ledge and safe to get in/out with my children. I wanted to leave one behind as a gift to the site, but sadly I didn’t pack my second set.
There are so many neat little spots to sit and enjoy the beauty around you. I barely broke the surface on what there is to see!!
There’s zero reception, which is nice to disconnect, but I plan on taking some walkie talkies next time, so I can communicate with my crew if we disband and explore separately.
It was also my dog’s first time camping. She’s high anxiety. Took her a bit to settle, but she had a blast here too!
Very private. Owners are wonderful. I wish we stayed longer, but I’m already looking forward to coming back!! (Adults only next?! And maybe a longer stay!) THANK YOU!!

Beautiful, quiet spot by a series of falls that our kids loved exploring! The site is well set-up and makes camping easy with amenities like stacked wood and folding camp chairs. The only thing that wasn't so successful are the "trails" on the property - we started to venture off on one and it was really overgrown and not traversable. Would be amazing if they were better maintained for more hiking options on the property. Otherwise we had a great time and Randall was very responsive, and falling asleep to the sounds of rushing water is just delightful!

We recently stayed at Paradise Falls, and it truly felt like a slice of paradise! The site is located down a dirt road, at the bottom of a hill along a beautiful creek with several stunning waterfalls. We had the unforgettable experience of swimming under them, which was just magical.
The campsite was incredibly comfortable and thoughtfully set up. One platform has a tent with a rug and a queen bed inside—spacious and cozy. The second platform is perfect for setting up a tent, and in our case, the host had already set up a six-person tent before we arrived, which made settling in so easy.
The amenities went above and beyond: a clean outhouse with a bathroom, an outdoor hot water shower powered by propane, potable drinking water, a great campfire setup, plenty of chairs, a picnic table, a grill, and even dog bowls for our pup. We loved the peaceful sound of waterfalls all night, and the whole place felt safe and serene.
Randy, the host, was so welcoming and kind. He made sure we had everything we needed.
The photos of Paradise Falls are beautiful, but they don’t fully capture just how stunning and peaceful the site is in person. It was such a special stay, and we can’t wait to come back!

Such a great find! The waterfall was amazing—super peaceful and perfect for cooling off. We spent hours just hanging out there.
The camp setup was well done. It’s clear the host has put a lot of thought into making the space comfy and convenient.
Speaking of the host, Randy was awesome—super friendly, helpful, and made us feel totally at home. You can tell he really care about making your stay great.

I was looking specifically for a secluded spot where I could lay next to a river or waterfall amongst the trees in the woods and just....relax. I came across Paradise Falls and this looked like my dream come true but I'll say that's it's even better in person! The accomodations were perfect and had everything that we didn't bring like firewood, stove, tent, paper towels. We brought bedding and pillows but you can add them if needed. The canvas tent was super sturdy and we fell asleep to the sound of rushing waters, gah! We hiked, cooked dinner, made campfires and just listened to the peace of the river and falls below. It's totally secluded so no interest access which lets you completely disconnect but the town of Hancock is a 20 minute drive if you need supplies. The outhouse was pristine and the outside shower had hot water and an incredible view. The moment we got there I was already planning on our return because this place is truly a gem. Our host Randy was wonderful and made sure we were all set and let us be to enjoy. I wish I had a dog because they would have had a ball but alas, my cats would not feel the same. Highly recommend but don't tell too many people because I will need my weekend free next time I book to return. 11 stars. Thank you!

Very private and peaceful campsite. No cell service which was wonderful. Plenty of salamanders, birds, crayfish, and butterflies to keep us company ☺️ the site itself has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Make sure you try the outdoor shower at least once, it’s awesome showering under the trees. The hosts were very kind and welcoming 😊. Bring water shoes and explore up and down stream. A short walk up stream from camp (step mindfully) brings you to a small swimming hole that’s about 6-7 feet deep at its center, just past a downed tree and pipe crossing the water. The water is freezing but refreshing and exhilarating to swim in. My husband, 8 year old and I had such a relaxing time here. We loved watching the stars while we sat around the campfire making smores. All in all, a wonderful campsite in a beautiful setting that we will never forget! The mountains in the area and the Delaware river are also breathtaking. We can’t wait to come back!

I want to thank Terry and Randall for a great weekend! They were very personable and accomodating for our anniversary getaway.
This is our first time with HipCamp, and we are very happy to have selected this camp. Paradise Falls is a beautiful campground with all of the indemnities for a peaceful off-grid location with plenty of space to stretch out to relax to get in touch with nature. The stream and waterfall provides a very nice touch, and having the fireplace and a well stocked wood pile made our stay warm and cozy.. The site is not too far from town, but we were able to have a great time even with the rains early in the morning.
Definitely a 10 out of 10 and highly recommended! We will be coming back to enjoy this site next season!

Randy was an amazing host and made sure our stay was comfortable and that we had everything we needed. The location was perfect, peaceful and relaxing! We loved the fact that there wasn’t internet and only surrounded by the sounds of nature. The location, privacy, waterfalls and campsite were wonderful for our 3 night/4 day stay. It was very convenient that we could drive and park right next to our site so our food was safe in our car but also accessible. The “loo” was a bonus and gave you a warm shower and privacy when needed. We are definitely planning another trip back and cannot wait to enjoy everything about this paradise again!! Thanks again Randy for being so hospitable!! 😊

Paradise Falls is an amazing site, with a stone patio, picnic table & canopy, elevated platform permanent framed tent, propane grill, and fire pit with adjustable gate, not to mention the outhouse with camp toilet and attached hot water shower. There is a beautiful stream and waterfall nearby, with a separate set of furniture and a fire pit there. Randall and his brother are super nice and helpful. The entire experience was amazing as always - we'll surely be back again.

Randy and Terry were two of the most wholesome gentlemen. You are nestled deeply and privately in the woods in the most quaint and serene campsite just steps away from the rushing waters on their privately owned (over) 100 acres. From the creative outhouse, secure tent, 2 campfires, outdoor kitchen set up with a grill, to offering us an extra day due to bad weather. Leaving was tough but I do hope to be back. As Randy quoted to me how a friend of his basically had said it’s practically an obligation to share his beautiful camp site, I can understand that 100%! I admire that they turned down the millions of dollars to the gas company to preserve this beautiful piece of land. Here’s a tip I feel may help others when arriving at Randall’s campsite: when you see the dead end sign, CONTINUE, it’s just up the bend on your left, stay straight. Follow their directions directly as written and you will not have an issue. I could go on and on about the hospitality the Hancock community had when we went into town for groceries and a few drinks at the bar. I know why Hancock was rated the best small town in NY this past August. I could almost feel the laughter and memories that were made and I am so glad to have made our own. Thank you for letting us stay on your land!

We learned how Paradise Falls is so accurately named. Private senic location, and camping right next to a creeks with several waterfalls. The ambience is near therapeutic. Fresh air, a campfire near the tent or a campfire down at the creek. In addition, you have a really nice host. My children loved staying here and played in the water for hours. I hope that we come back here again soon..
