We are near the historic town of Jim Thorpe, Whitewater Rafting Adventures, Hickory Run State Park, Lehigh Gorge State Park, Tuscarora State Park, and more. ***PLEASE READ BELOW AND READ EACH SITE DESCRIPTION BEFORE BOOKING*** - Our tent sites are rustic with NO electric or running water. We allow responsible use of the stream for cleaning. Please bring along potable water. Cabins have electric, but no indoor plumbing. Porta-Johns are available throughout the grounds. Cabins have a rustic outdoor shower available MID May- MID October. Please inquire for camper vans and pop ups. - FIREWOOD: We have firewood for sale for $7 per crate. You can pick and crate your wood at the wood pile on the grounds at your convenience. Please bring cash if possible or get in touch at the end of your stay to pay via Venmo, PayPal, or Zelle. -We have a variety of wildlife in the area, including BLACK BEARS. Please follow 'Leave No Trace' protocols and be mindful of trash and food throughout your stay. Keep your coolers in your vehicles and take garbage to the dumpster frequently. We have a dumpster available to you on the grounds. -Check in is contactless. Upon booking, you will receive directions to your site. **If you would like to stay for one night during the week or one night on a weekend during November-April, please get in touch and I can adjust the booking specifications. Otherwise, weekends are typically a two night minimum mid May through October. Memorial Day Weekend and Labor Day Weekend are a three night minimum.** Contact for pricing options. Drive into your campsite immediately you will hear the sounds of a babbling creek, by giant rhododendrons under magnificent hemlocks and oaks - a truly natural and relaxing experience. Campers can enjoy a short hike to our private waterfall with swimming hole or lay in a hammock by the creek. The sites are surrounded by 400 acres of privately owned natural forest with several miles of marked trails. The campsite is adjoined by Lehigh Gorge State Park and PA state game lands. Sturdy shoes or hiking boots are recommended for hiking. Just minutes away there are outdoor adventures galore: white water rafting, kayaking, biking on rail to trails bike paths, skirmish paint ball, Glen Onoko Falls and Hickory Run state parks. The mountaintop entertainment venue Penns Peak and the historic town of Jim Thorpe are just 15 minutes from the campsite. Jim Thorpe has many fine eatery’s, shops, the Lehigh Gorge Railway and Asa Packer mansion

Our 2 and a half acre property is situated in a very rural quiet area. The Wickecheoke creek, a tributary of the Delaware, runs through the property. There is a private seating area for serene enjoyment and private meditation. Each camp site has a small private firepit and picnic table and the cabin has a large firepit, a patio area, and back deck. Plenty of wood is available - free again this season. There is a wooded site, an open site for self contained campers and tent campers, the "lil log cabin" and a large open grassy area, fun for children or dogs to recreate. How about camping in a Vintage Camper! We have on its own site a 1965 Trotwood, canned ham style camper. This cozy piece of the past is restored for nostalgic reflection. It has fine appointments, kitchenette, indoor private potty. She will sleep 4 comfortably. Or, stay in 'little log cabin' our cozy and complete cottage with full kitchen, full bathroom, queen size bed, and a pull out sofa, extra cot and pack and play. (Sleeps 4). There are many parks, conservation reserves and nature trails to hike nearby. Your can bike along farm roads in the area and find places to have your picnic lunch. Forgot some supplies?- within 3 short miles are many shops, services and resturants, many deliver. Several varieties of wildlife are in the area: you will spot eagles, white tail deer, racoons, wild turkeys and red fox, to name a few, while you stroll, bike or drive throught the area. Stop at the many creeks and enjoy the vibrant sounds of the bubbling waters; fish, frogs , turtles, blue heron and the many critters who habitate the waters. For birders there are over 75 species of birds within a short walk. During changes of seasons you can often see many birds in flight migrating to far away places. Bring your binoculars and camera. For you shop and antique explorers, just a short drive to the Delaware River and its quaint villages only 10 miles away: Lambertville, New Hope and Frenchtown. Boutiques, art studios, antique shops and restaurants . Enjoy any one of the many local Brewers, Distileries and vineyards all within a short drive of Oak Grove Acres.

From 1939-2020 our family ran a summer sleep-away camp for children on the farm, with an emphasis on caring for each other and the land. Located in a small valley at 1400 feet of elevation, our fields and woods are home to a broad diversity of native plants and animals. Our family has been caring for this land since 1926, but before European colonization it was home to the Lenape people from whom it was forcibly taken. Acknowledging this fact and working to expand awareness of Indigenous cultures and their rights is important to us. While at the farm, besides the amenities listed in each listing, you are welcome to hike or walk around and explore our farm which has many acres of woodland, creeks, springs, a pond, and open fields. A hot day is a great time for a walk along - or in - the creek. A rainy day brings out the Red Efts - beautiful orange newts that are all over the woods when you know where to look. We're always glad to point you in the right direction for a nice walk or a longer hike. You may be able to tag along collecting eggs from the hens or feeding some of the other animals we may have.

We spent most of our time down by the creek where we saw frogs, snails and a deer mama with her baby! Weekend Trip to Camp Nox ⛺️

Sarah was a very helpful and proactive host, and her campsite is located in a beautiful spot on her family’s land. She set up the site with everything we needed, from a camp sink, to a bevy of fire starters, to a clean porta potty. There are many fun games to play if you need a break from exploring. Even on a very wet weekend we enjoyed the short hike down to the peaceful river (even had a Bald Eagle fly by!) and the longer hike to the lake, and it’s a short drive to access more trails nearby as well. If you want to have a treat, a quick 5 min drive gets you to Owowcow for good ice cream and Kimberton cafe for tea and coffee. The family agreed this was one of our favorite campsites and we look forward to coming back in nicer weather.

Amazing weekend camping with my 13 year old daughter. Everything was clean and well equipped for a relaxing and adventurous few days. We even got to see a black bear! Thanks to Scott who is an excellent host. Absolutely will be back and highly recommend.

Road tripping from northern New Hampshire and needed a place to stay, last minute request was quickly excepted by Jen with much relief. Jen's property is very nice and well maintained. The rustic post and beam cabin was cozy and comfortable, it even has a doggie door which leads out to a fenced in area. It also has a nice wood stove which came in handy on the cool and rainy evening. Jen was very friendly,communicated well and made sure all of our needs were covered. The the outdoor shower in the morning with hot and cold water was a bonus, would highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

This was a beautiful weekend time away from the day to day. The cabins are set in rolling fields of farmland. Secluded from the normal traffic, this was a great and comfortable place to read my bible, sit by the fire, and cook some new recipes. Planning on going back again sometime soon. Weekend Trip to RoundStone

Roundstone is a special place. Buckhorn cabin was cozy and clean. The outside area was well-maintained and the porta-potties were clean and a very short distance away. The land is beautiful — the pond, stream, little waterfall and evergreens were wonderful. The area felt peaceful and secluded. We took long walks, enjoyed meals at the outside picnic table and inside table, and had fires (and appreciated the convenience of being able to buy firewood on the honor system). With temps into the mid-30s at night, I was worried we’d be cold, but the space heaters kept us warm. We hope to be back soon.

2 nights at Tiny Cabins in the Valley

I stayed at Deerpath cabin with a friend for a few days. The nature around the cabin is beautiful. It is in view of the hosts house from a distance but it is secluded enough and has a fence. It is nicely furnished and I was pleasantly surprised to see a sign with our names on it, welcoming us to the cabin. The only downside is that the shower is outdoors and only available in warm months (there is shower available in the host’s home). Overall a great experience would recommend to lots of people.

I loved this cabin!!! You literally only need to show up with food and clothing. Everything else is there. Whatever you need to cook or be comfortable with is there. The hosts are super helpful when I had questions through the app. Took a nice relaxing weekend with my friend and we loved it.

3 nights at Riverside Hideaway

This is my first cabin camping in a long time and this place is really nice. The cabin is cozy and offers electricity. We are used to bringing our own supplies for camping and we were relieved to see most essentials were supplied. The hot plate and folding table were great for making meals, along with the fire pit. I really enjoyed the privacy and and hospitality of the host, who gave us the most delicious potatoes and onion from their garden. There is a train that comes by, but I'm telling you it is nothing that disturbed our stay. Thank you.

3 nights at Riverside Hideaway

This was a most wonderful experience on a lovely property hosted by such a kind family. We very much enjoyed our two nights there (even in the cold). The cabin is quaint and had all we needed off the grid to really feel disconnected. We highly recommend this space, land, and family welcoming to all tent campers who once in awhile need a comfort space in inclement weather. A blessed place!

We had such a great time at the cabin! It’s a beautiful place with a very well-stocked kitchen and it’s super conveniently located close to stores and restaurants yet feels totally off the beaten path! And Kat is a fantastic host!!!
