Welcome to Forks Farm Campground! Forks Farm is an 86 acre farm located in Fishing Creek, Columbia County, Pennsylvania. The grass and timber farm is nestled along Huntington Creek at the base of a south-facing slope with beautiful views of Knob Mountain and Huntington Mountains to the south.
There is a fire pit, picnic tables, a swimming hole, wooded campsites, fishing, Josiah Hess Covered Bridge, an outhouse, and an open area for recreational use. Please remember we are a working farm. All fences are electric. Please DO NOT TOUCH or go inside a fenced area without a farmer accompanying you. Pack it in, pack it out. You are responsible for removing your own trash and recyclables.
The farm store is open 24/7 for self-service. Please record your purchases in the notebook on the counter and leave payment (cash or check is preferred, but you can use Venmo) in the money box on the counter. If you need assistance with a purchase (Forks Farm grass-fed meats for the grill), let us know.
Forks Farm Market has been providing the community with locally produced foods every 2nd and 4th Saturday, May - December, for thirty years and has established itself as the area's first and only on-farm, producer-only farm market offering the local community chemical-free, pasture-raised meats, dairy, and farmstead cheese in addition to a wide variety of locally produced foods, fiber, and crafts from over twenty vendors.
The campground is easily accessed from the Bloomsburg exit of Interstate 80, ten miles north on SR 487, and 1.5 miles east of Forks on Winding Road. The nearest major town is Bloomsburg, 10 miles to the south, and both Philadelphia and New York City are within a 3-hour drive.

The history of the Pump House began in 1878, when three ambitious men hatched a plan for the world's first long-distance underground oil pipeline which would transport oil from well to refinery more quickly and efficiently than the horse-drawn wagons of the time. Pumping stations were needed every fifty miles along this long route to keep pressure on the pipeline so that the oil could reach its destination. Pump House Bed and Breakfast is one of the only properties in the country in which the both the original homes of the foremen and the large brick buildings remain. Doug, owner, has spent more than 20 years lovingly restoring these foreman houses as well as the large industrial brick buildings. The Brick Barn Hall once housed steam pumps to pressurize the pipe and keep the oil moving, and the Catawissa Cabin behind it served as the telegraph office. The Studio Hall contained boilers that produced the steam to power the pumps, while the adjoining Studio Cabin functioned as a blacksmith's workspace. Today, the buildings function as reception spaces for weddings and other special events, and house private suites as well as an art studio where Doug pursues his work and teaches drawing, ceramics, and stained glass classes. Our 10 acer property situated about a 20 minute drive from rickets glen state park has field and wooded camp areas provided with a fire ring. We have 1 site suited for rv parking in our upper field. Other sites include our lower field and 1 site along side reyburn creek. There is minimal phone service, none at the creek, but our wifi reaches the upper 2 campsites which we will gladly give access. A 2 wheele drive vehicle can make it to all campsites but i would recommend 4 or all wheele drive for the lowersites as the trail can be slick when wet. Wood is not currently provided but you can burn any downed or dead lumber. Feel free to contact me with any questions.

Greene Kitchen Farm has been farmed by the Greene family since 2013. If you step back in time a few owners, the Kitchen family with 8 boys and a girl farmed the land that surrounds the little tributary to Montour Run. The Greenes have been pasturing the majority of the land in nature's image with an eye toward biomimicry and an agro-forestal, savannah landscape. The herbivores pulse through the landscape with flocks of birds following them.

We had a great time at this place! Took us a minute to figure out how everything worked, but we were honestly impressed with the number of amenities on site. (The keg to heat up the shower water is ingenious btw!) This spot is clearly well cared for and you can tell that there have been many updates and improvements over the years. We had a lovely stay and even found some chanterelles in the woods nearby! (We made sure to avoid the game lands). Thank you for opening this little haven out to the public!

After a very long day of driving, I was happy to arrive at the farm. I chose The Aspens site to tent camp, and it was so pleasant. Surrounded by trees and pastureland, with a small stream running through, everything was calm and relaxing. Joshua and his whole family greeted me, which was such a kind gesture. It had rained hard that day, and a bundle of dry fire wood was waiting for me. It’s clear they work hard to maintain such a beautiful farm. The cows were my neighbors and were surprisingly quiet! It was a lovely place to rest my head after a long day on the road. Thank you!

Enjoyed a stay on Doug's land in the Frank Tiny House. Everything exactly as described and then some. Bed was super comfortable and little house was when stocked. Even had a mini fridge. Bathroom and shower house were clean and easy to find in the dark. Property offered secluded hikes and even had a map marked to see different trees and things. Loved the stay and would definitely do again for longer if in the area. Made an adorable little fury friend in the cat. He followed us around and even slept on the porch of the camp for part of the night!

We stayed in the Beach Bus for one night after exploring Ricketts Glen, and our only regret is not staying longer! This place is truly incredible … such a great escape from city living & such a relaxing spot to stay after hiking. Kathleen & Don were great hosts - the bus is equipped with everything you need (and more) & they’re very accessible if anything else comes up. Definitely recommend!
