A few years ago Chandler sold a large portion of his company and we purchased our rustic log cabin. We love the idea of sharing our peaceful cabin and property with the world! We also rent our property for weddings, family reunions, camp-outs, graduation parties and other events. Bring your own bedding and towels or we can supply them for you to use for an additional fee. Trout Lake Cozy Cabins was formerly known as Serenity's, named after the restaurant that sat on the property. The Restaurant burned down a number of years ago. Since the restaurant building was rebuilt, we have been excited to have Mt. Adams Pizza on our property for the last 4 years. There are also a number of places to eat within a mile of the cabins including Mount Adams Pizza, the Trout Lake Hall, Post Office Coffee, and the Station Cafe. The Mount Adams Ranger District is a great resource for additional information about the area and recreational activities. Of course, having grown up in the area, we are always happy to answer any questions you may have or provide you with a "local's" tip/suggestions. This is an adorable log cabin on an acre of land surrounded by fir trees. (Some of the pictures in prior reviews are from when I was renting out the smaller cabin- this listing is now for the larger cabin!) 🤗 You feel like you’re waking up in a state park, but you’re just ten minutes from town. Mt Adams and many hiking trails are nearby. If you are a rafter or a kiter, we are very close to the river as well! It will sleep 4 comfortably- please contact me about extra guests. There is a trundle bed with twin mattresses, and a Queen bed. Both have fitted sheets only. Please bring everything else you may need to be comfortable. The cabin is off grid so charge your electronics beforehand and bring a cooler! It’s a great place for a reset : ) Get your feet on the ground and wake up with the birds chirping. NOTE: You have to pack trash in and out. Leave no trace. I do not have trash pick up at the cabin and anything left has the potential to lure wildlife in. Thank you for your understanding!

Our stay was great! The tipi was adorable and the bed was very comfortable. We loved the string lights that were hung inside, it made for such a cozy vibe. The outdoor kitchen was perfect and had everything we needed - black stone style grill, tea kettle, plates, coffee cups, pots and pans, cooking utensils, etc. There was also a table and chairs which was perfect to eat our meals at after cooking. The outdoor shower was lovely - really good water pressure!

Weekend Trip to Secluded Tipi Glamping w/Breakfast

Secluded and enormous meadow for an extremely peaceful stay… we were happy reading in the grass but this place is also an easy jump to spots like Latourell Falls and Rooster Rock. The tipi was awesome and I appreciated the literature Julie has explaining the symbolic meaning of its design. The outhouse was downright cute, and it was super handy to have a sink in the outdoor kitchen. It was hot, so I also enjoyed the cold-water outdoor shower. We were only 30 minutes from our house but it was truly an escape.

What an incredible stay! This tipi glamping experience exceeded all expectations. Nestled in a quiet, secluded spot near the Columbia River, it was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The setup was beautiful and thoughtfully arranged—every essential item was provided, and you could really tell that the hosts had considered every little detail to make the stay comfortable and stress-free. The tipi itself was cozy, clean, and inviting, with plenty of space and charm. We loved how private the site felt, yet it was still conveniently located for exploring the area. Whether you’re sipping your morning coffee surrounded by nature or winding down by the fire at night, it’s a magical place to unwind. The hosts were warm, welcoming, and incredibly responsive—truly wonderful people who made us feel right at home. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with all the comforts of glamping done right, this is it. Can’t wait to come back!
