Very well installed, level site with the 3 services. The stream right next door and the small fireplace with burnt hardwood, were very popular. What to say about the visit of the deer every day. We didn't have the chance to meet our guests. Small downside, a little too close to the street, quite busy Friday night but the day and Saturday night it was perfect. Très bien installé, site de niveau avec les 3 services.le ruisseau juste à côté et le petit foyer avec du bois franc à brûlé,furent très apprécié. Que dire de la visite des chevreuils à tout les jours. On n’a pas eu la chance de rencontré nos hôtes. Petit bémol, un peu trop près de la rue, assez passante vendredi soir mais le jour et samedi soir c’était parfait.

Weekend Trip to Agate Beach Oasis
The location was amazing, right across the highway from the ocean, with several close points of access. Sarah pointed us to some local, quieter sections of the beach to access. The hot tub was perfect for this location, both to warm up from cooler Newport days (was high of 70 in Newport, while Portland/Salem were over 100) and to drown out noise from the highway. Also nice to have an outdoor fireplace, and fenced yard for pups. Only issue was bottoming out as I exited with our 45’ toy hauler. However, Victor and Sarah were incredibly helpful getting us out safely. Victor even shoveled the road to level things out a bit (and sounds like they are planning on upgrading the path to get out after our struggles). Overall, the nicest and most helpful hosts we’ve stayed with. Price was on the higher end for sure, but we did find it last minute for Labor Day weekend so given that, and all the benefits (escaping blazing heat and getting a place to ourselves on the beach with hot tub) it was relatively reasonable.

Green Crest is an active Memorial Park (cemetery) adjacent to Highway 18 between Portland and the Oregon coast on the South side of Sheridan. This property makes a great stop over while en route to your final destination, but is also a great getaway if you'd just like to relax in a natural setting while having conveniences near by. **if you have an rv that you are planning to back into the site, please enter via the 'exit' as it will allow better positioning to back in. otherwise use the drive marked entrance.** If you have young ones, the park next door has a playground and a stocked fish pond. Two minutes from your site, you will find 24 hour gas and diesel; Subway, Riverside Cafe, Bennie Huies Chinese and the local Grocery store. Did I say there is a Dairy Queen 5 minutes way? Nearby Ballston Road offers a great rural road system from which to explore by bicycle. Points of interest both out in the wild and more metro are all within an hour drive. Our farm is nestled at the end of Honey Grove Valley in the lush coastal mountains. The creek meanders through our seven acre property. The north side contains a field, small orchard, greenhouses and barn. The south side is steep and wooded with healthy riparian. An extension to the Honey Grove trail leads out of the property accessing a user maintained hiking/mountain biking trail with 1.5, 3, 5 and 7 mile loop options. Other nearby activities include hiking and mountain biking in Mary's Peak and Alsea Falls recreational area. Access to the Alsea River is located 1.5 miles from the property on Honey Grove Road or at nearby Clemmons Park. The guest cabin has two rooms and can sleep (4) guests comfortably and up to (6) guests. It contains (2) queen size beds, and one pull out couch. One bed is in a loft accessed by a ship ladder. There is a small kitchen and an un-attached bathhouse. The toilet is non-flush, composting. From the designated parking area there is a 200 foot walk along a gravel path to the cabin. Other features include a fire pit, wood fired sauna, and creek access for cold dips. Internet is available in the cabin. There is a Level 1 vehicle charger available for guests. The property also contains a host residence. The area around the residence is for the hosts. The cabin and the property are very quaint and inviting but also very rustic. Do not be surprised to see a few or many spiders, slugs and other bugs. There are occasional bunnies, wild turkeys, Garter Snakes by the ponds and newts on the trails. Please maintain good situational awareness when enjoying the property as structures and grounds may have some inherent hazards. The barn is off limits. Greenhouse and gardens are fine to explore as long as doors and gates are closed and dogs are kept out. Please refrain from harvesting produce and/or eggs unless accompanied or given permission from hosts directly.

We are closed for the season to let our land rest and, well it gets pretty soggy around here in the winter months. We'll open up in again in April but, we're taking reservations for the 2026 season... Our one designated site, closest to the river bank we call the Riverside Site. It can be reserved for up to 4 people. It can only accommodate smaller tents, campers, pop up trailers, small pod-type trailers and larger rigs up to 15'. has a rustic firepit and your own deck for viewing the river. For groups of 5 or more or people or camping with large 10 person tents or trailers over 20', there will be an additional fee and you will need to set up camp in our Riverwood Site, about 150' from the riverbank. You will still have full access to the deck and firepit in the other site but, larger rigs cannot maneuver in the site without tearing up the grass and leaving ruts on our property. **Please note**When you make the reservation you will add an "Extra", ADDITIONAL CAMPSITE. We have indoor bathroom facilities for our guests in a separate apartment we have downstairs of our house. There is a small living and dining area, kitchenette with barista bar, microwave and small fridge. It is about 150' walk and is visible from the campsites but, still feels private. We also offer our little Bunkie, the Glass House for an extra fee. The Bunkie sleeps two comfortably. It has a nice mattress (Please bring your own sleeping bags), a comfy bench, a coat rack, remote control lights and a nice electric heater. There are curtains all around for privacy. You'll use the bathroom facilities in the apartment. All of our guests have full access to our personal dock to get down to the water. Feel free to fish off the dock, swim, Kayak, SUP or just enjoy the evening on the dock. Our property is about a 10 minute drive to the Ocean/Hwy 101, just south of Lincoln City. Both sites can use the portable toilet and outdoor shower. We keep it clean and odor free for a sanitary camping experience. Bring your bikes, boards and outdoor gear! Many adventures to be had here on the central coast. Your hosts are avid surfers and cyclists and can help direct you to the best spots to match your skill level. The property is close to town as well as bike loops, gravel roads and trails. We're also close to the beach. Within a short drive surfers of all levels can find something fun to ride nearly everyday of summer and fall. The 18 hole golf course is just down the street from the property and the town of Waldport is 2 miles away. Yachats is a short 12 minute drive to the south where you can find amazing restaurants where they serve fresh roasted coffee along with a large menu of drinks and treats at places such as The Green Salmon Cafe. White sand beaches are located just down the hill from us where you can walk all the way from the mouth of the Alsea river to the mouth of the Yachats river. Forested and easily accessible walking trails are also nearby. South of the property is Cape Perpetua - a natural wonderland with whales, tide pools, blowholes and a 26 mile trail system. Welcome to Squared Roots Farm, a Garlic Farm and homestead in Alsea, Oregon. We specialize in gourmet hardneck garlic and sustainable farming practices. (IG @squaredrootsfarm) On our farm we grow veggies and flowers. We raise Nigerian dwarf goats, chickens, and honey bees. You will be staying in a 16ft Pacific yurt built on raised deck that has a covered deck for shade and rainy days. There is plenty of space for additional tents and RV campers to join! There is a fire pit, picnic table, full propane grill and composting toilet. There is also a wonderful warm wood stove for staying cozy! You can swim in the creek right next to the site or walk over to the North Fork of the Alsea River where there is 1/2 mile of river access and great winter steelhead fishing too. Close to the farm is world class mountain biking, hiking, fishing, waterfalls, great views, and surfing on the Oregon coast. The camp spot is a very private grassy nook nestled next to Honey Grove Creek. There are nature trails on the property with blackberry bushes. We offer farm fresh eggs, firewood bundles, and as the garden begins to ramp up- we will offer all the veggies to campers including goat cheese! We can do cash or Venmo payments. A 40-acre isolated forest paradise, our property has several places to dry camp with your tent or with your trailer/RV. We are close to Falls City, the vast wilderness of the Oregon Coast Range, Valley of the Giants, and are about a 15 minute drive from the cities of Dallas and Monmouth. We have two sites currently ready for camping with AMAZING views of the Oregon Coast Range with phone service, pets allowed if kept on leash (there are animals on neighboring properties), and a designated fire ring for fires if a fire ban is not in place. This hidden gem is only 1/3 of a mile off the highway yet all you can hear is the flow of the water from Rock Creek which flows along the 2 acres. There is plenty of spots to toss your tent. Personally, I prefer the bank overlooking the stream. Cool your feet on a hot summer day in Rock Creek (the main attraction). Enjoy the evenings around the fire pit for an extra $10/day which includes the firewood. There are complimentary tables, BBQ, chairs. Attractions: Spirit Mountain Casino is only 4 miles away, The Oregon coast is a 25 minute drive as well as plenty of vineyards. Also enjoy 100+ miles of hiking trails. We ask if the ground is wet (rain for 24+ hrs) you keep your car on the gravel driveway and not drive in the grass (causing ruts). Don't be a turd. Respect the Hideout. If you plan on partying and/or staying up late around the campfire, don't book this. I have neighbors and respect them. Go do your party booking elsewhere, please. Lastly, if you are bringing dogs, you'll most likely get a bit of barking from the dogs to the east for the 1st hour. I just want to be honest and warn you.
