Riverberry Retreat Camp

Riverberry is the perfect setting to get outside and connect with nature. Relax on the riverfront, go for a swim under a waterfall, fish, hike, rockhound, and explore old growth rainforest, located on the beautiful and pristine North Fork Nehalem River. 

There is plenty of room for private or group camping. Sites are secluded and  firewood, ice and fresh eggs are for sale on site; shared portable toilets for camp guests and potable water is available at the homestead for filling your containers.

The North Fork Nehalem river is home to some of the best salmon and steelhead fishing around. It is still a wild place and not uncommon to see deer, elk, beaver, bald eagles, coyotes and a very rare bear sighting. 

You will be a 20 minute drive away from the coast in Manzanita for beach beach combing, farmers market, unique shops, epic hikes and local cuisine. Just past Manzanita, another 10-20 mins further, are Cannon Beach and Seaside.

Check-in is from 2-7pm. If you need accommodations outside of that time frame please give us at least 24 hour notice. Rsvp are subject to cancellation without 24 hour notice of late arrival.

Pacific Alder Cabin

Located in historic Seaview Wa. Close to everything with a woodsy private feeling. We get visits from bear, deer, and bunnies regularly.

2 bedroom 1 bath cabin sleeps 4 comfortably 6 total. 2 bedrooms each with a Queen bed. 1 Queen futon in the living room. 

Cozy cabin located in historic Seaview wa on a peaceful woodsy lot. Walking distance to market, brewpubs and great restaurants. About 1/4 mi to the beach and heart of Long Beach. Hiking, beachcombing, shopping and museums close by. Large yard, propane fire pit on the covered porch. WiFi, TV, DVD's, RedBox 1 block away. We offer early check-in and late check-out whenever possible. 

The Long Beach Peninsula has many diverse hiking opportunities from the pacific rainforest to ocean beach and bay trails. Lake, bay and river kayaking or catch a fishing charter at the Port of Ilwaco. 

The Peninsula has several towns with antique stores, galleries, museums and tourist shops. Long Beach has go-carts an arcade and put-put golf to keep the kids entertained. Stop in the Visitors Center at the alternate in Seaview for information on what to do, where to go, and all the local events.

Gateway to the Oregon Coast

We are offering up a few areas on our property for clean, friendly, quiet campers that want to get out of the city and enjoy some peace and quiet.

We are located in Banks, Oregon. We are approximately 45 minutes west of downtown Portland.   Our camping area is about 5 acres and offers something for everyone. If you have a large RV and need a safe and quiet spot to stay for the night, we got you.  We have a large fire pit, Adirondak chairs, a large picnic table, and a swing set for the kids.  Badminton and cornhole available on request.  Family get-togethers or birthday parties are welcome!

We are located just 1.5 miles from The Banks-Vernonia Trail.  Bike campers are welcome!   Feel free to bring along your 4-legged friends as well. We do not have a fence, so if you do not trust your dog of a leash, please keep them tied up. We have a lot of deer that pass through and untrained dogs love chasing them. 

Banks has a few restaurants to choose from:  Subway, Dairy Queen, Main Street Pizza, Mary's Mexican Food, Hop-Cycle Brewing to name a few. There is also a Supermarket in town just in case you forgot your S'mores supplies or Spirits.   We are about 20 minutes away from McMenamins Grand Lodge, in Forest Grove, which hosts some great live concerts during the summer. 

We have a few fishing spots within about 30 minutes of the property.   Hagg lake, Horning's Hideout, Dorman's Pond and the Wilson River are all popular spots. 

We have clean well water and 50A electrical hookups.  We do not offer dumping of black water, but you can empty your tank at the Elks club in Forest Grove (25-minute drive) for free or Camping World over in Hillsboro.  I don't mind if you drain your gray water on the property as long as you use a longer hose to keep it away from the immediate camping area.   The parking area for RV's is fairly level and easy to get in and out of. 

During the late summer we have 5 producing apple trees, 2 plum trees, and a lot of blackberries. Feel free to pick what you would like. 

Currently, we do not have any public bathroom facilities available for campers, so please plan accordingly.  There is a public bathroom at the "Manning Trailhead" about 1.5 miles away.

Legacy Farm

Welcome to Legacy Farm, a family-friendly getaway with a historic family barn. Our property is hidden in a lush greenery, offering you a quiet and relaxing stay. You can park your rig in our large gravel roundabout, which can accommodate most sizes. (Please reach out to us before booking if you have any questions or special requests)

If you are looking for some adventure, you can explore our 15 acres of land, which include hay fields and river access. You can hike down to the water and enjoy fishing, canoeing, or swimming in the summer. You might also spot some wildlife along the way, such as deer, elk, or birds. We have horses on the property, but please do not feed them or disturb them.

Our location is ideal for hunters and fishermen, as we are close to many hunting areas and fishing spots. You can also visit the nearby attractions, such as Astoria OR, Long Beach, and Seaside, which are all within 40 minutes drive. There you can find museums, shops, restaurants, and more.
