Jsm Ranch started in 2004 when we moved from Oregon City.
This once was a working farm with two chicken barns and a meat locker barn. All had fallen into disrepair before taking ownership.
In 2007 we planted 200 trees and 100 shrubs to build a new fish and wildlife habitat along Woodcock Creek. We then focused on building fence along the Molalla River to protect water quality.
From there, we started raising Black Angus in 2008 after spending four years cleaning up the fields to make it safe for animals. We strive to be good stewards with our land as we continue to work with Clackamas Soil and Water to make better working lands.
You're only minutes away from the town of Molalla to grab a bite, groceries or other camp items. Also have Molalla Rodeo just 3 minutes away on

THE PROPERTY:
Our campsites
are on two beautiful ponds with a seasonal creek in an old growth cedar forest with a few trails to enjoy the stillness and magic
of the woods.
There are 11 acres with a vineyard, fruit orchard, large garden, cob garden wall for lounging, fire pit at the vineyard with several picnic tables and hammocks, a big open field above the camping area, and the beautiful cedar forest.
We consider this land sacred. We are only caretakers passing through, and honor this place and the original people of this land: The Molalla, Clackamas, and Kalapuya tribes, who were "relocated" to the Grand Ronde Reservation in the mid 1800's.
Please be mindful of the energy of the forest, and all the people and animals who still reside and have come before.
The forest is home to beavers, coyote, deer, raccoons, salamanders, frogs, and many bird species.

WHEN YOU ARRIVE:
Proceed down our long driveway to the bottom. Take a left at the sport court, and continue right. On your left is the woodshed with the "Calliope Farm" mural. You will see two parking spots to the left of the woodshed (Harmony Hollow parking) and two on the right (Hobbit Circle)
You can unload here and grab a cart.
Across from the parking, on the red barn, is the water station, and the hot tub sign up sheet.
You will be walking/carting your things down to the forest where you will pass the outhouse on the left.
For Harmony Hollow, after you cross the first bridge, take the path to the left and cross a second bridge and the campsite is on your right.
For Hobbit Circle, cross the first bridge and walk around the pond, which will lead you to the campsite.
The campsites are a short walk, (200 yards) but there is a decline, and
you need to be a little hearty to walk back up the hill with your things.
You will have a good amount of space and privacy for your group, but may encounter others visiting the forest as well.
Enjoy a social time while respecting that some come for quiet and reflection.
We provide a picnic table
We wish to all work together for safety, with intelligence, common sense, and fire consciousness.
OFFERINGS:
We have a cedar hot tub, massage therapy,
and an outdoor shower. The charge for the hot tub is $15 per person for 75 minutes
of hot tub
time.
You can schedule the hot tub for privacy at the sign up sheet on the barn.
If you would like to shower and not hot tub, the cost is $5 per shower, otherwise its included in the hot tub fee, and required for hot tub entrance.
If you, or anyone in your group did not pay for a hot tub ahead of time, you will find a Venmo link on the barn, or can bring cash.
HOT TUB:
The hot tub sign up sheet is on the barn next to the water station. It is first come first serve. If you are a larger group using the tub, consider choosing a later spot for water displacement.
If the hot tub is too hot, please add cold water from the hose to desired temp.
PLEASE do not turn down the temperature on the hot tub, but use the cold water to create desired temp, but not below 102.
If you are staying multiple nights and would like to hot tub again, the cost is $10 pp, instead of $15. Kids under 10 are $5
The hot tub is to the right of the house down by the garden. Your time is private, but we may need to visit/work in the garden.
PLEASE read and be mindful of the hot tub etiquette posted in the hot tub area.
VINEYARD:
~Silas Wines~ This is the original vineyard for Silas Wines founded in 2010.
Our Pinot Noir vines are 40 year old Wadensville clone planted by the Ritter family in the early 80's.
You are welcome to walk the vineyard, and explore the front of the property. Our neighbor Beth, to the west, is a master gardener, and loves to give tours of her gardens or you can wander on your own. (please inquire)
Dogs:
Please let us know if you will be bringing a dog. We and our neighbors have chickens that are penned and free ranged.
Please DO NOT allow your dog (or yourself) to roam on our neighbors property over the fence in the next field to the East. He is very friendly, and we have a good relationship, but that is his request.
Please pick up after your dog. Please do not lose site of dog, and keep them on leash in common areas.
Please do not leave your dog unattended at the campsite or anywhere on the property where they will bark and disturb other guests.
THE CARAVAN SPOT:
Please let us know if you are needing a van camping spot opposed to tent camping in the woods. We do have a few different options for car camping, and when booking select the "caravan spot". We also can split up your group if some are tent camping and others need van camping, but you would need to book the two different sites.

Note: The use of the sauna, hot tub, and composting toilet are only for Glamp bookings! The campsites and tipi use the port-a-potty and have the use of an on-demand outdoor shower, which is free of charge.
Our home and farm is on two acres. Your tent site, is all in our ample acreage.
Although pets are welcome, we expect them to be well-behaved around our two cats, our own big sweetie of a pup, Frejya, our two crazy goats Cupcake and Muffin, and our free-ranging chickens. Expect to hear some animal noises here on the farm.
Our property literally borders the scenic highway. Because we are so close, you can hear the sunset-view-seeking drivers, motorcycle riders, and yes, racers who come out this way for a spin on one of the most scenic highways in the world. Traffic quiets down after dark and mornings are quite 'chill'.

Alternatively, simply relax and enjoy the picturesque views of the river and the wildlife in the coastal rainforest. Watch the salmon jump during spawning season in November, or cast a rod from our private fishing spot. We are also a birdwatcher's and rockhounding paradise! Just a few minutes away from town amenities, this location allows you to immerse yourself in the tranquility of the forested river canyon, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We are family and fur baby friendly! If you are an animal lover, take the time to enjoy a visit with our cats and chickens too.
*Please note, while we have no direct neighbors, we are in a narrow river canyon. There is an active farm and wedding venue across the river. You may hear distant noise of their operations or events, depending on the season. There is also a quarry across the road that operates M-F, from 8a-3p that sometimes can be heard sporadically throughout the day.

The camper is located between St Johns and Kenton in charming North Portland. It is safely located in the backyard of the property, and is surrounded by tall fences and shrubbery, allowing for absolute privacy. Beautiful yard with outdoor dining area and hot tub access (hot tub available starting September 2025). We are located a half a block away from the historic Columbia Park, with a long walking path through mature Doug firs, sports fields, pickleball courts and a play area/splash pad in the summer. There are many wonderful restaurants, breweries, and coffee shops located nearby. The neighborhood is safe and we have free parking. We are pretty quiet here:)

The cabin, situated in a Douglas Fir grove next to a seasonal creek, sits on five forested acres and is adjacent to BLM lands, open for hiking. Outside is a fire pit with Adirondack chairs. An outdoor soaking tub is available from April 15 - November 15.
When you arrive, you'll be greeted and briefly introduced to some of the cabin's unique features, including attic stairs to the windowed sleeping loft. Downstairs is a sofa and a sofabed. The coffee cart kitchen has a refrigerator/freezer, a coffee maker, an electric tea kettle, a toaster oven, and a microwave. Cook on an outdoor gas grill with a skillet and saucepan, and enjoy outdoor dining at a picnic table. Dishes, linens, and bedding are provided. WiFi speed is suitable for basic use. Mobile phones connect through WiFi. The cabin is non-smoking. Children six years and up are welcome.
Summer recreational areas are nearby with miles of trails, including the Pacific Crest Trail, are nearby. Howard Prairie Lake is across the road. Howard Prairie Lake is a local favorite for fishing for Rainbow Trout and smallmouth bass. Birdwatchers can see eagles, pelicans, geese, ducks, hawks, herons, and many other bird species.
A 25-minute drive will take you to Lake of the Woods, where you can dine, hike, and kayak, or snowshoe and cross-country ski in the winter. Crater Lake National Park is 65 miles away.

You will appreciate the peace and quiet of this little cottage on Rock Creek, situated on 11 acres of forest in Williams Oregon. The only sounds you'll hear are the birds in the trees and the flowing creek water. Enjoy sitting on the deck overlooking the confluence of Rock Creek and East Fork Williams Creek. A bridge crosses Rock Creek and there is a hiking trail beyond.
Our garden hot tub is a welcome place to soak and enjoy the stars at night. Its an older tub but still keeps the water at 102 degrees.
Our cabin has a kitchenette with a small fridge, sink, 2-burner gas stovetop, microwave, teapot, toaster, and 2-cup coffee maker, plus a few dishes, cutlery, and pots and pans - enough for simple meal preparation. Coffee, tea, sugar, and creamer are provided along with a dozen fresh eggs from our chickens.
The cabin has a small woodstove as its only heat source. A little wood can be provided, and we provide newspaper, matches, and fire starters. There is an abundance of kindling around the property - great for getting a fire going. The stove holds 18" x 4" split logs, if you have some to bring. There are two smaller stuffed chairs, and two bar stools at a small bar-height table with views of the creek.
The bathroom has a shower and vanity sink, and towels and toiletries are provided. There is hot and cold running water, although the 3-gallon hot water heater limits showers to less than 5 minutes. A camp portable toilet is provided upon request.
Nice sturdy steps lead up to the loft upstairs which has an 8" full-sized (wider than a twin but narrower than a queen) memory foam mattress with fresh linens. The loft is low and cozy which allows the camper to sit up on the bed but not stand up.
A compost toilet is about 100 yards away, and has electricity. Bring your flashlights to find the compost toilet as well as the hot tub as the property is very dark.
Cell service is okay depending on your server, and WiFi is available. The password is listed in the binder on the hutch. Some games and puzzles are provided.

Pull up and let the vacation begin. The Lake Billy Chinook area has everything for the perfect camp trip. There is bike riding, boating, fishing, hiking, ATV riding, swimming, kayaking, lounging and enjoying nature.
When you arrive just park in your site. We have 30-amp service but no RV septic hookup. The site is gravel so you may need to level your rig.
We have a fantastic outdoor area complete with couch, loungers, BBQ and fire pit. The high desert offers some of the most amazing views of the Cascade Mountains with clear blue skies and some of the best star gazing around. Casa del Lago is a dark sky site. There is a fantastic view of Mount Jefferson from the couch and the sunsets are absolutely beautiful.
During the Summer we usually enjoy beautiful sunny days and cool comfortable nights. You can hang out down at the lake and find a spot on the beach to have a picnic. You can also bring your boat or rent one at the Cove Palisades Marina and enjoy water sports.
Hosts live in house on property. We are located 4 miles from the lake and are nestled in a rural country neighborhood.

We've got lots of land available for camping - an absolutely pristine and nearly silent environment, an easy short walk (250 feet) from the Pacific Crest Trail and just 30 minutes from Ashland, Oregon, home of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival.
We wre working on building out supplies and facilities, and for now, we have handmade soap, home-roasted single origin coffee, and soy/beeswax candles.
There are no toilet facilities (yet!) so you'll need to come prepared.
We are *out there*. It is *quiet*. It is *gorgeous*. You will not regret camping with us!

This was our 3rd time visiting Molalla Ripple and it’s always an amazing experience. River was low in July but still so much fun. My son loved catching crawdads and climbing on the rocks. Site # 7 is gorgeous and big and private! We just left today and booked again for next month to come back with friends! Thank you for sharing your property with us. Can’t wait to come back asap.

This is our third time staying at Molalla Ripple and we are going again in late August. The place has new improvements every time we stay here. The host, James, is great! Super friendly and it’s clear he really cares about providing a nice space for campers to enjoy. He’s clearly putting money and labor back into the experience to make it better each time.
The sites are close together but they have plenty of privacy and they’re right on the river. It’s amazing waking up to the sound of the river running by. You can fish right from your site. There’s a communal kitchen area with a working sink which is a great bonus. Doing dishes while camping is always a pain but this makes it way easier.
I could go on and on but you get the idea. It’s an amazing place. Just book it already!

Loved our group camp site at Molalla River rock! We had 4 tents and each had our own little area with our cars. James was super responsive and present and you can tell how much he loves and cares for this beautiful slice of heaven. Our sites were 2&3 and were right by the river. They were also right next to the cleanest port a potties and shelter that had a sink, outlets, covering awning and picnic tables! We enjoyed making dinner and sitting on the little deck that looks off to the river. We had a really great time! James even brought our kids a s’mores kit which was so kind and thoughtful. We would definitely come back here again! Oh, and we all raved about the string lights. Overall a 10/10 trip!

Stayed here again for the 7th time with my kids and their nana. Had a great time, Jim is always quick to respond. We enjoyed ourselves for 2 nights (not enough time) and will be back in a few weeks. River is always enjoyable, porta potty's are clean and always stocked with toilet paper. The perfect campground.

Such a great halfway point for our trip to relax and take a break. Never felt more comfortable in strangers backyard. Rick and Ellen are both so welcoming. Plenty of amenities that they encourage you to use. Pets come and say hello as well.
Great suggestions for local spots too.
Little background noise, that some marijuana easily took care of for a good night sleep.

Our stay was wonderful. Everything was seamless- Mea and team were incredibly thoughtful when it came to every part of the stay, from check in to check out.
Cedar Bloom Farm is a lovely place. The towering trees, expansive sites, and serene river were exactly what we needed. The energy was positive and calm. I personally loved all of the little details that Mea and her team provided. Dried flowers hanging from the showers, organic hand soaps, the communal kitchen , and signage around the site made everything even more special.
We loved our experience so much we actually changed our plans to stay at Cedar Bloom Farms for a second stay during our road trip. The decision was a good one! An extra day on the river is always a good idea.
We will definitely be back- A hui Hou!

Emily and Frank are the sweetest and most welcoming hosts! The land is stunning and it is apparent how much love has been poured into building the cabin, gardens, and cedar tub etc. will be making this a regular stop! Not to mention the incredible view from our tent of ferns and redwoods in the morning.

Staying at this cute solar powered cabin with my dog was fun and relaxing.
The best parts were hearing Swainson's Thrush and owls, soaking in the wood fired hot tub (which was so easy to use) and watching my city dog enjoy being off leash and exploring the trails.
The outhouse was clean and actually smelled good.
Trent was so helpful, friendly and communicative. Directions to the cabin were great. There were even a few fun surprises.
It was a good visit, and I wished we could have stayed longer.

I loved the campsite it was very private, quiet, cozy, safe and convenient! The water view was so great and my family loved the hot tub with the hot water!
Communication with the host, James was super quick and helpful he came down right away to help us to solve the situation. There is a shack and a sink you can wash your dishes. The dish soap and a sponge was provided! We were so impressed! The river is perfect for kids on the shallow part and to do paddle boarding or kayaking on the deep part in the same zone. Restroom was clean and the fire pit has a useful grill attached you can put kettle/pot/pan on. I will cook some corns next time! I’m so amazed I didn’t suffer from insects once during the stay. Our family really loved everything there and will come back.

My family stayed in the bell tent at Rushing River. The property is absolutely charming. There are several comfortable communal areas, we loved the patios overlooking the river, the covered couch area and the fire pit area (which we used nightly for s’mores and some late night hot dogs!). The river is so peaceful - my son caught some trout and loved the swing, we did rock searches and lounged in chairs with our feet in the water. The tent we stayed in was roomy and comfortable - Teresa and Mike ensured we had everything we needed to feel comfortable - including an extra cot, pillows we forgot, a bbq, coffee, anything we needed!
The property is super close to Detroit, it made day trips to the lake easy.
Mike and Teresa are such a wonderful couple. You can tell they truly enjoy hosting. They make home cooked meals for everyone, start a camp fire every evening for anyone to join and are always down to hang and chat.
We will definitely be back!
