This property is located in a small community of houses about 10 minutes away from downtown Weaverville. Weaverville has bakeries, art galleries, grocery stores and several restaurants. Things you should bring: Pillow(s) and sleeping bag or full-sized sheet set + warm blankets appropriate for weather. Towels/washcloths. A bag of ice for the cooler. 1lb propane cylinder for stove. Food/drinks. Firewood for campfires. We provide a porta potty with hand sanitizer/toilet paper. A hot shower (a propane instant hot water heater) both located at the parking area. There are also plugs to recharge electrical devices and also lanterns to use located at the parking area. There are 2 spigots on the property with drinkable water. This immaculate small cabin near Asheville is ready to treat you to a luxurious retreat experience. We are located only 15 minutes from Asheville and a few miles from the parkway, surrounded by 14 acres of forest. There is a private hot tub that is all yours! Sauna available upon request. Professional massage therapist onsite as well. The house is hand crafted with unique creative touches for your delight. We look forward to having you! This home was built in 2019 by an expert craftsman with the vision of making it cozy and spacious with sweet artistic details and lots of care and love. The home is 300 sq feet but feels much more grand inside. You will be nestled on 14 pristine acres of forest, with two decks, your own personal private hot tub, and a spring fed creek not too far down the driveway. There is a gas fireplace outdoors on the porch, and an outdoor fire pit for your use as well. The house has a queen size bed in the upper loft, a large twin day bed on the first level, and an extra loft with camping mats if needed above the day bed. The house can comfortably sleep 3 and up to 4 or 5 especially if a couple of them are children or petite people. The house has a full kitchen and bathroom, living room area and two lofts. For now there is a composting toilet that is easy to maintain and we are happy to help you with it if you’re on the land for more than a few days. The main house is about 30 yards up the hill, and although somewhat close, you will have plenty of privacy. We are close if you need us, but we try to give all of our guests ultimate privacy. The house is under a huge magnolia tree, so it stays shaded in the summer and quite cool. There is an AC unit and heaters in the house as well. There is a personal hot tub, which is screened in, and located on the front deck of the house now. You will love it! There is a back deck that is only for meditation, yoga, and bird watching, and we ask that folks stay silent on the back deck if they use it. Pets are welcome at an extra charge of $40 a night. If anything is needed down at the house we are available. Much of the time there is a massage therapist on site, so if you are interested in getting Bodywork please just inquire about prices and availability. There is also a wood-fired sauna on the property, so if you would like to sauna please let us know. And an added bonus is that you are only 5 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway and LOTS of great hiking, great restaurants, bars, coffee shops, art galleries and more. Asheville is 15 minutes from the tiny cabin and Weaverville is 10 minutes away. On any given day you might see a family a deer, turkeys or bears in the front yard. There is a spring fed creek on the edge of the property you are welcome to soak your feet in, and there is incredible hiking just a few miles away. You are welcome to explore the 13 acres of property as well that the home is located on. This is not a place for parties. Our neighbors are about 200 yards down the hill so we try to respect their privacy and keep it quiet. That is why we have made the back deck a retreat/silent deck. Maximum of 4 guests.

Weekend Trip to The Honey Hut

Awesome little spot for a weekend getaway. Directions to the site were easy to follow. Super cozy and felt very private. Loved making coffee in the morning and playing fetch with our pup off the deck. Temperature inside the cabin stayed nice and comfortable. Really appreciated the packing recommendations as well. Small camping lantern was all the light we needed but definitely necessary after dark as the portapotty and outdoor shower are down the hill. Thank you again for creating a lovely accommodation!

We loved the tiny cabin! My partner and I didn’t feel cramped, it feels much bigger on the inside. Perfect location - it was quiet, scenic, and convenient to get to. Weekend Trip to Run Away Ridge

This is the second time we have stayed at this site. Once in early summer and now late fall. It is one of our favorites. We wanted to try some cooler weather camping to test out some new gear and this was the perfect spot. The leaves were mostly off the trees at the site, but the leaves on the surrounding mountains were still spectacular. I would recommend to anyone looking for views and a beautiful place to camp.

Very peaceful and relaxing spot. Had it all to myself. Felt safe too as I was camping alone with my dog. Town is close so that’s a plus. Got to see coyotes while I was driving down the mountain one morning and saw a few pileated woodpeckers among tons of other birds and wildlife. I had and amazing much needed trip. Would definitely camp here again.

Perfect spot for van camping with our 4-year old who loves animals and trains (maybe they all do?). Peaceful and quiet spot for the night. We enjoyed the fire pit with plenty of seating, and a bathroom (toilet and sink) right across the way. It was cold the night we were there, so my son also enjoyed the indoor toys / play area. First time I’ve ever woken up and seen buffalo walking around — it was great! If we’re back in the area, we’ll definitely camp here again.

We had such a a relaxing time on Jill and Fara's land. The communication was great... Directions led us right there with no problem! The views were breathtaking with the leaves changing. We had plenty of room... We had tents. The electric was a absolute plus! We had perfect cell service! It was close the the Blue Ridge Pkwy which was beautiful during peak foliage. Feels far away but your close to grocery and gas. It was a quick drive to get to Maggie Valley. Had a great experience!!

What a wonderful place to stay! I'm a middle-aged woman with joint pain, and initially I was nervous that the crawl to the bed in the loft would be too much for me, but I figured out how to shuffle along, and by the time I left I was so sad to be going and didn't even feel bothered by the tight maneuvering. I stayed for a week while in town for a work thing. I primarily was there later at night and it was so special. The whole space is so thoughtfully done, the lighting just builds the mood, and there are so many wonderful touches. I used the gas fire pit outside a lot more than I expected, and I loved sitting in the hot tub listening to all of the sounds of nature. I absolutely hope to come back in the future! I didn't get to try the sauna, which hopefully I will be able to do in the future. And Kellie was very helpful throughout the stay with any of the needs I had.

Great little spot in the countryside to listen to nature and get a good nights sleep. The incoming road is a bit steep so be prepared for that, but it doesn't alter the peace and quiet around you!! Easy access to get set up and settled I . All connections are quick access and ready to go. Great hosts.

Weekend Trip to Pink Fox Cove Cabin

We enjoyed our stay at Kellie’s place. It is in a quiet location and the house is such a cute little gem. It had everything we needed for a quick weekend trip. The hot tub was great to use and is in a private setting which fit perfectly with the whole ambience. There is a sauna on site for a fee which we didn’t get to use it unfortunately, due to our time limitations, I hope to be back and step up that relaxation game a bit. Kellie is very kind and it is true when she tells you to look out for her little doggies, they will run up to the car. They are extremely sweet and friendly and we enjoyed their enthusiasm.
