We love the peacefulness of where we live...although the weather chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, guinea fowl, peacocks, goats and horses do get a little loud come feeding time. We are a new 25 acre RV farm stay campground located near Fort Bragg, Southern Pines, Raeford, Aberdeen, and Pinehurst Medical Center in the Sandhills Region of NC. We are one mile to Carolina Horse Park, and also welcome exhibitors with LQ trailers. One mile to Plank Rd for a direct Army route to Fort Bragg and Pope AFB, Fayetteville. We have 16 full hook up 35x50 sites with pads that can accommodate any size or type rig in a spacious, clean, quiet, farm setting. Each site has 20/30/50 power. county water, **new** in ground septic connections, trash removal and firewood included!

The camp site was nice and spacious. A rake was provided which came in handy for laying down the tent. This is a very clean campground. Fishing in the Black River was great and you will catch different types of fish.

The place was great! The bathhouse needed cleaning and supplies. There was no hot water in the shower. Other than that, we liked the play area for the children. During summer, the pool is a must!

I absolutely loved my stay at Black River Camping Ventures! This is a gorgeous, pristine private family campground directly on the Black River. I camped here spur of the moment in the off season near the winter holidays. My tent site was immaculate, the check-in/out super easy, and my host Lisa made time to keep in good contact and to come by for a visit. The location is great for easy paddling access to the river. I originally planned a longer trek downstream and ended up just staying and exploring the ancient cypress swamps right around the campgrounds. Will definitely be back and I recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful time on the Black River! Thanks, Lisa!

Ian was helpful with directions and had the tent and firewood set up for our arrival. Loved the seclusion and privacy. Enjoyed seeing a beaver, a large red-tailed hawk and deer, and hearing coyotes, woodpeckers, and owls. The perfect spot for viewing the meteor shower since the site is dark and has a great view of the night sky. It was it was a bit of a walk from the parking to the site, so if you are bringing a lot of stuff and have to make multiple trips, it may be a challenge. Overall a wonderful experience that we will likely book again.

Beautiful, private and somewhat enchanted. We felt such a sense of peace here. From the first contact with Mike, we knew it would be special. Large, private lots were scattered throughout the wooded area. Very well landscaped and looking forward to returning when everything is in bloom. If this is any indication of what our retirement will be like, we’re ready to explore now. A lot of love and care has built this place and it shows!

Absolutely beautiful place. The pictures don't do it justice. Well spaced, generously sized sites, and clean, nicely maintained porta-john. The provided wipes are especially nice.
The camp hostess rolls out the red carpet. We will definitely be coming back here.
