The trailer was very clean and cute! the fridge was cold and the linens were clean and comfortable, atmosphere was super cute, they stock lots of supplies for you for cooking, overall great stay.

The accommodation was great! I loved the multiple options of cooking tools and cleanliness of the trailer. You are pretty close to other campsites, one across the street and the porta potty for both sites are directly next to the trailer. It was super pretty on the pond and there was some traffic of people fishing in the pond and it was sweet. Not all of the windows are closed off in the trailer but this helps with airflow and we didn’t not encounter many bugs or mosquitos. The space itself was very well thought out and very organized. The hosts were extremely responsive and were there if we needed anything. The shower was INCREDIBLE! The water pressure and privacy was greatly appreciated. I would absolutely recommend anyone to stay here.

What a beautiful site! And convenient. Our host Louedith is amazing and we met some other wonderful campers during our stay. We didn’t realize all the barn has to offer until our last day when we were picnicking at our campsite with family when a squall came through. We sought refuge in the barn and what an absolutely amazing space it is. A great place for a family reunion! Maybe next year… 🩷

The place was amazing, we camped right near the dock. The people at the distillery like Ben were incredibly friendly, and gave us some samples. Would 100% go back. Only thing I wish they had was some potable water so we didn’t have to create so much trash with water bottles.

Directions were super clear and helpful. Site was very clean and well-maintained. There is some road noise but it didn’t interfere with sleep at all. This was a much more enjoyable option than any campground. Will return!

Great private site with plenty of room for the dog to run around and a great view. We brought our own cast iron to cook over the fire pit but I think Edwin has some available if you request. Great spot to relax, will definitely be back!

2 nights at Chattooga Belle Farm Lakeside

This was our second visit to Chattooga Belle Farms and we will definitely be back. The grounds are spectacular, the Bistro serves delicious lunches and the Distillery is fun and unique. Shout out to Ben, Brian and Eric who all went out of their way to welcome us. Ben’s help in getting our RV setup was invaluable. It’s a beautiful part of the country with many great hiking trails, water sports and incredible waterfalls. Make the most of your time at Chattooga Belle Farms and the surrounding area.

3 nights at Harmony Glen

This is a nice and relaxing spot to camp. It was a lot cooler than where we're from in the summer, at least 20 degrees cooler. It's a large camp spot with you and the host are the only ones there on 40 acres of land. June gives you a notebook of things to do and hiking spots you'd never know about. We hiked the "caves" on Glades rd. They were awesome, and we went to see the Petroglyphs at Judaculla Rock on our way home. We really enjoyed our stay here.

1 night at At the Ridge Camp-Riverside Escapes

this is a great spot right near the creek wonderful host and neighbors. My dog and I loved our stay here and will probably come back again. Next time I would probably book a site number six rather than four because it’s a little more level and has a bit more room but overall, it was a wonderful experience and I absolutely loved it.

Super peaceful area while still being close to town, would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay down here. Smells clean in the area, and the crick and horses beside the campsite are a nice addition.

What a sweet relaxing spot! Right outside our RV was a beautiful stream - I believe an offshoot of the French Broad River? Our pup went swimming several times a day as we sat on perfect large rocks sipping wine and throwing him sticks into the water! Plenty of shade with all the beautiful trees. We’ll be back in the fall to see the changing colors. There are several short term campers here that are super nice and helpful! The people are great and the camping was even better! Thank you to Tom - what a beautiful place you have! And thank you to Travis and Carol for being wonderful neighbors!

Beautiful location with a view of Table Rock located in the Historic Oolenoy Valley. Our property is located in Northern Pickens Co. of South Carolina. Plenty of trails, boating, biking in the area or just sit under your awning and enjoy the wildlife. Important please read! There is not evening shade in July and August, However, there are shady spots very close to the camp site that you can enjoy. Where your camper sits the Sun goes down at the front of the camper. It is typically not an issue until mid-July and August. If you need additional details, please contact me. There are two homes near the camp site. The one behind the site is our home. Just me and my wife, currently no pets. The other home is a small white farmhouse that I currently rent to close friends. Chris and his wife and two well behaved kids. The kind of neighbors' people dream of! In five years of renting this site I have only had one couple that felt uncomfortable with the homes on our driveway. Barnhill Mountain in Fletcher, NC

My wife and I moved to the area, from Boone, in the spring of 2014. Our dream was to own a house, preferably a cabin, on top of a mountain with long range views and a gradual winding road to the top. Living in Boone, this dream was definitely out of reach. When we began our search for a new home in the Asheville area, we discovered that the more affordable homes were in fact on the mountains. Perfect! In general I always have a pretty positive outlook on what’s possible, however, I was skeptical that we would ever find our dream home. As Jeannie began her Zillow browsing adventures, one particular cabin with acreage, that was outside of our budget continued to pop up. Jeannie would delete it and then it would come back. At some point the price began to drop, and drop, and drop. On our way back into town one weekend after attending a wedding, I convinced Jeannie to drive by the cabin just because we had the time. Immediately we fell in love and reached out to our realtor buddy. It was more of a shot in the dark but it couldn’t hurt, right? We held our breath for the next month totally expecting someone to get it under contract before us or the sellers not accepting our offer. It had already been reduced significantly so we knew our chances of a lowball offer were slim. We offered the most that we could get a loan for. They accepted! I still get anxious thinking back to that month, October 2014. Many years and two children later, here we are, just as excited everyday to make the long trek up our mountain as we were that August of 2014, and now we are happy to offer a similar experience to you, without having to buy the place. We are only 15 miles from downtown Asheville & Hendersonville, and 22 miles from Lake Lure. All three of the RV/camper spaces have both 30/50 amp electrical power, sewer and water hookup. The tent camping space has toilet facilities, access to water and trash disposal. The tiny home accommodates 2-3 people - perfect for those who want to be close to their camping friends/families but don’t have campers. This property was my childhood home and after retiring, my husband and I moved back to one of the homes on this farm where I grew up. He has since passed and my son, Todd, now helps me maintain the property and assists with ensuring the best experience for our guests. We wanted to offer this space for campers to share the awesome views and this part of North Carolina with others who enjoy nature, outdoors, and all the great things to experience in the surrounding towns. Only a 20 minute drive to Asheville where you can tour Biltmore House, Grove Park, breweries, eat at many great restaurants, enjoy rafting, zip lining and many other outdoor activities. We are 15 minutes from Blue Ridge Parkway with 2-lane, less traveled access road to get there. Bring your bikes and hiking equipment - plenty of room to ride and roam. The old red barn on property has been restored and offers relaxation loft for your enjoyment.
