We added an outdoor hot tub to the site as well as a shower house. Bring your swimsuit! The shower house has a private side for the portable loo as well as a shower side with running water.
You may not want to leave, but Onteora Lake in the Bluestone Wild Forest is great for hiking, swimming and boating. Our campsite is located only 5 minutes from Ashokan Reservoir where you can fish and boat. Bring your own camping gear or rent ours, the adventures are endless! If festivals, farm markets and shopping are more your thing, we have it all nearby. Please contact me if you have a specific request. We'll make it happen!

the locals know our street because of the indigenous people and early Dutch settlers mixing with the slaves. Much history here, with the small town of stone houses, making Hurley a national historic destination.
This serene is secluded on a mountain surrounded by trees with seasonal views. The campsite is neighboring 105 acres of beautiful conservatory land available for hiking. No true trails are available, but you can be adventurous and hike further up the mountain, arriving to a clearing, providing you with a lovely mountainous view. From the mountain, you can hike to a waterfall or even hike across a lovely plain field surrounded by mountain ranges on both sides and crossing the creek over to Historic Stone houses in Hurley. Within a 10 minute drive check out some of the local restaurants like Alebrijes, Hickory BBQ & Smokehouse, and the Hurley Inn where the movie “Tootsie” was filmed!. Hurley Marbletown Trailhead and Rail trail parking are only a 6 minute drive away! The town of Kingston is about 15 minutes from our site where you will find Bluestone Wild Forest, antique shops, restaurants, other outdoor activities!
The nights are just spectacular as you look into the sky surrounded by a blanket of stars, able to see the many constellations looking like jewels on a black cloth. The sounds of nature and all of it's distinct calls including that of eagles, is truly an experience. And we cannot forget our other friendly neighbors, the wild turkeys and deer! We are very appreciative of this beauty and would love to share this sacred place with you.

Feels like you’re away from civilization but yet close to all the Hudson valley has to offer. 15-20min from Woodstock, rosendale, stone ridge, Rhinebeck, red hook, New Paltz and Mohawnk short 30 min drive. The glampsite is a yurt with a fire pit and a full modern bathroom just a short walk away. For a small fee, you can also rent our bikes for riding the nearby rail trail or just visit the waterfall 2 miles away. Wood available for purchase. Back in the day this was all farmland. I purchased this property in 2019 and have been busy developing it. I’ve build a chicken coop, installed bee hives and I have Nigerian dwarf goats. There is a farmstand that opens seasonally. The property is about 6 acres of flat land with several great spots to camp. Across the road is our private forest about 40 acres. We are conveniently located next to the NY Thruway exit 19 & 209 Highway yet super secluded and in nature’s paradise adjacent to the Sawkill River and across a large private Forrest. There is some road noise from Sawkill road & the Thruway dependent on the spot you choose to set up. If your’e tenting you can be in the woods way up in the forest, but most campers prefer our spot near the Sawkill River. I have fire pits, common outdoor furniture & a gasBBQ’s that can be used. There is chickens, bees & goats & 2 guardian life stocks dogs that live with the goats. I also have a small Terrier & a farm cat. A lot of outdoor activity with bird watching, bunnies, deer & the groundhogs say good night. It’s rural yet only 10 minutes to Kingston uptown and about 20 minutes to Woodstock. About 1 hr from Hunter & Windham Mountain resorts and 45 minutes to Belleayre Ski.
We also have a wood fired oven and offer pizza making classes as well as catered meals.

The space: Enjoy a safari style tent on your own private deck overlooking the water located in a private wooded property. Rinse off under the private a-frame shower with warm water and use the NEWLY installed Porta-Potty. This porta-potty is emptied weekly and sanitized before each guest. You won’t have to dig holes but you are camping after all!!
Cook a meal on a propane grill. You are welcomed to bring aluminum trays! Charge your phones or laptops should you need to do a little work under the canopy of the trees! (Yes! If something a little bit further from nature tickles your fancy, jump in your car for a quick ride to Uptown Kingston or Saugerties where you’ll find plenty of great restaurants and shops to visit during your stay. Either way, you're sure to enjoy!
End your day with a nice fire under the stars! You have two comfy Adirondack chairs and an enclosed fire pit for your use!! Be sure to bring enough wood as you’ll want to linger around the fire just a little while longer!!
During the cooler months, enjoy a small heater that will warm up the tent to a toasty temperature perfect for sleeping! Sweet dreams are sure to follow!
**If staying with us during the months of November through April, please note that the water is turned off to protect the pipes. We do offer a small electric heater and plenty of warm blankets and comforters. However, you are staying in a canvas tent so we do suggest you bring extra warm clothing and slippers to wear during your stay!

Lake Taghkanic is a great place for both summer and winter stays, with plenty of tent campsites as well as cabins and cottages, and a variety of activities to do year round. For winter folks, there's cross-country skiing and snowmobile trails, as well as ice skating and ice fishing areas, and plenty of fire pits to warm those chilly bones. For summer lovin', there are two beaches, so if someone kicks sand in your potato salad (accidentally, of course), you can just go to another beach and pretend like it never happened. The only sleeping quarters that are on the water are some of the cottages in the West End Cottage Area, so if you're planning on playing Beach Party Bingo, plan accordingly or be willing to walk a bit from your tent or cabin.

Great access to the Roaring Kill Trailhead and to the Devil's Path Hiking Trail. If you're looking for some water activities take a short drive to Colgate Lake. Site guidelines Do be careful driving on the dirt jeep track out to the camp. Don't miss swimming in the Roaring Kill Falls. Do leave the campsite just as you found it. "Don't feed the bears." A large field that was once an old potato farm, family owned for generations. There is great heart in this land. with apple trees strewed across the wild flowers. Terrace Farm is a multi-generation farm on 160 wooded acres of Tremper Mountain located on the outskirts of the Hamlet of Phoenicia in the heart of the Catskill Mountains. World class fly fishing on the Esopus Creek, private hiking trail to overlooks of the Esopus Valley and historic rock quarries as well as several public hiking trails including the Long Path are all within walking distance. Also located within walking distance is the Hamlet of Phoenicia. We have three sites available. Beechwood at Terrace Farm is the quietest and the most secluded. This will accommodate six guests. The day we arrived, it was raining pretty heavily. We had a short walk from the parking area to the meadow, which wasn’t terrible but not ideal in the rain. The meadow was also extremely muddy for the rest of our stay, basically a wetland. I would not recommend staying during the rainy months, but the location itself was really nice. It’s right off the rail trail and we walked from the site to a nearby town and explored a little bit. It’s also a short drive to New Paltz which was very fun to explore. Would recommend B Side diner for food. There are two outhouses a short walk from the meadow, which were clean and stocked with toilet paper. Would absolutely recommend this spot to anyone planning to visit during the drier months.

Stonecutters Edge was a cute little spot tucked into the woods. It definitely felt secluded. Campsite had cooking gear and a great amount of firewood. Bed was super cozy. There were a few things that probably could use a little maintenance - the string lights were only half working, shower head is not in great working condition and camp cooking gear storage in general was a little disheveled. Overall I would recommend this spot if you are looking for a cute little escape.

The meadow was ideal for my needs. Although moist in the inner portion, there were dry spaces along the fringe with stone fire pits in various spots. I enjoyed my spot and watching trail users pass by in the distance as I laid in my hammock. Craig at the on-site bike rental had sweet rentals available as an added treat.

Stone Mountain was exceptionally accommodating, creating a winter camping pad for my vehicle, crowned with rooftop tent. After the first snow, the host checked in to make sure everything was good. The new bathhouse was especially appreciated for cleanliness and hot water. Looking forward to a meadow experience this spring.

2 nights at The Awakening Garden
This was such a cozy and wintery cabin experience. My partner and I stayed over New Years Eve and enjoyed the snow falling, the wood stove firing away, a full moon, and blissfully almost no cell service at all (relief!). It was magical to drop into quiet woods and appreciate an absolutely tranquil experience all around. We decided we want to come back for another round once it warms up this spring/summer!
Tips for future guests: in the cold season, acquire PLENTY of firewood as it takes a lot to stay warm! But once the little cabin heats up, its plenty hot, especially up in the loft. We loved going to Ambrosia Diner down the road too, and bearing witness to the waterfalls of the Catskills.
