Visitors can drive down to the cabin and park their vehicle next to the cabin for ease of coming and going.

A composting toilet inside a privacy tent and a solar shower inside a privacy tent is located close to the cabin. Solar lighting is available inside and outside the cabin. A bunk bed and cot are available for sleeping. **** Please bring your own towels, sheets/blankets and/or sleeping bags.**** The bottom bunk is full size, the top bunk is twin size, and a comfortable cot is available. A hand pump water bubble is available for fresh water to drink. A small generator is available to operate a drip coffee pot and griddle pan. Plus the fire pit has a grate for cooking on. ****Please bring your own plates, glasses and silverware.****
Our cabin is located in the village of Roseboom NY. The village is small and
welcoming. The village has convenience with Bobs Country Store and the Roseboom Cafe within walking distance from the cabin.
The cabin is just 12 miles from historic Cooperstown NY. There are some wonderful attractions such as: Glimmer Glass Lake, Baseball Hall of Fame, Fenimore Art Museum, Opera House, Hyde Hall and Farmers Museum, Lake boat tour, Ommegang, plus so much more. The cabin is also just 4 miles from historic Cherry Valley where a variety of locally owned restaurants, unique shops and Art Studio are ready to be explored.
When staying at the cabin, there are many areas to explore around the property. Walking the streams and grassy trails are so enjoyable. So many birds to hear and see, such as: Eagle, Blue Heron, Hummingbird, Green Heron, Catbird, Song Sparrow,Blue Jay, Northern Cardinal, American Goldfinch, Red-winged Blackbird - plus many more.
