We are a 15 acre farm on the shores of Swan Lake. There are plenty of campsites sites all around the property, accommodating tents, mid sized campers and RV's. No children under 16 please. Depending on how crowded we are, privacy varies, but on most weekends you can be out of site of other campers. Many campsites have fire-pits already, but you're welcome to make your own anywhere you'd like. While camping, you may be visited by over 100 friendly, free roaming FARM ANIMALS! You may feed them, but PLEASE dont let them eat plastic bags. Be sure to put all food away when you are done. We cannot offer reimbursement for tents damaged by animals. This is extremely rare, but it CAN happen. If you do not wish to put your tent at risk, please do not camp here. The farm was once an old bungalow colony and has some glass and metal still in the soil. Please wear shoes at all times. Firewood is available at several locations around the farm. There is a heated sink and shower in the back corner of our main camping area. Boats are available at our lakeside dock, at no charge. There is also a great mountain for hiking and a super secret swimming hole, both within a 10 minute drive. Also enjoy a child free visit, as we do not allow children under 16 years old. Dog Friendly and Fully Fenced!! This rustic 600 square-foot cabin with a semi-private bedroom and a fold-out couch can comfortably sleep up to 4 adults. The bathroom and kitchen both have modern amenities. There's a wood stove but also electric heat and AC and hot water. Huge sliding glass doors open up to a wrap-around porch. No TV, but Wifi. It sits on 5 wooded acres and nearly a full acre of cleared land is fenced, making it safe for dogs to run off leash. The house sits within the fenced in acre so you can conveniently open the doors and let your dogs run free. There is one visible house across the street from the front of the cabin but it feels very private in the back of the house. There is a firepit. There are two outbuildings onsite that are not available for rent at this time. The cabin is 20 mins from Minnewaska State Park and Mohonk Mountain House, and 35 mins from Kingston, New Paltz, Gardiner, Phonecia and Woodstock. Local restaurants of note include Mill and Main, Roughcut Brewing, Westwind Orchard, Arrowood Farms, and Harana. If you follow the marked bushwack trail you'll be guided over fallen trees and through breaks in historic stone walls, then across the creek and up the hill you will come out onto the O&W Rail Trail. This 27 mile trail is perfect for hiking, biking and strolling. In some segments it is smoothly paved and others it is gravel. From this trail you can access multiple parks, libraries and museums if you are looking for a long hike or ride. We are centrally located between Kingston, Kerhonkson, Woodstock and New Paltz and all are about a scenic 20 minutes drive. The NYS Thruway is less than 10 minutes away if you are traveling through. The Rondout Valley is home to multiple breweries, amazing restaurants, luxurious spas, places to kayak, fish, swim, rock climb... or you could spend your entire visit at the farm reading a good book and enjoying beautiful sunsets. PLEASE NOTE: -We are a working farm that uses sustainable organic methods. -There are bugs (ants, ticks, bees, mosquitos, etc) -We keep the grass at the campsites short but you will have long grass around you. Moon Valley Campground

Located 50 miles from midtown Manhattan (approx 1:08 minutes) is our brand new campsite located right off the Appalachian Trail. The camp is at the base of Wawayanda mountain right between the iconic hikes "Stairway to Heaven" and "Pochuck Boardwalk" on the Appalachian Trail. Hike right from camp up to "Pinwheel Vista" (named one of NJ's best viewpoints!) At the entrance to the property is the Valley Farmers Cooperative that sells local grass fed meats and artisanal farm goods. You can walk two minutes to Heaven Hill Farm which has plenty of goods, produce, and fun fall activities like pumpkin picking and haunted hayrides. Drive your car from route 94 directly to your campsite nestled in the woods with a great view of the valley. A perfect getaway from the city with plenty to offer. About 10 minutes down 94 is the beautiful town of Warwick or about 4 minutes in the opposite direction is the town of Vernon. Warwick is a quaint small town with plenty of great restaurants and bars, and famous for its apple picking. Vernon has plenty to offer as well including the popular ski resort/waterpark Mountain Creek and Minerals Spa (Located just under 10 minutes away.) The quiet charm of Wawayanda State Park appeals to hikers, campers, swimmers and boaters. Forested hills surround Lake Wawayanda creating a restful backdrop for canoeists and fisherman, while steep mountains challenge casual as well as serious hikers. A twenty-mile stretch of Appalachian Trail runs through the park, while the top of Wawayanda Mountain offers sensational views. More than sixty miles of trails are marked in the park.

Lean To with Spacious Site

We are located in the heart of the Hudson Valley, close to the Village of Rhinebeck and the Hudson River. There are many things to do within a half an hour of the campsite. Learn more about this land: A very spacious semi-wooded site that is in the shape of a triangle. The dimensions are approximately 100' by 100' by 50'. Perfect for the large group camp out or the family site. The Lean-to is approximately 10'x9', large enough for a small tent or keep the picnic table in there for bad weather. Large or multiple tents no problem, put your tents in the wooded area where there is room for multiple tents. There is a fire pit area, picnic table, 4 outdoor chairs and corn hole that all are included with the site. A seasonal stream runs along the campsite giving you a nice bubbling brook sound. Plenty of privacy. Within 15-20 minutes of our site is just about anything you could desire. Local restaurants, hiking, fishing, shopping, drive in movie and much much more. We are a 15 acre farm on the shores of Swan Lake. There are plenty of campsites sites all around the property, accommodating tents, mid sized campers and RV's. No children under 16 please. Depending on how crowded we are, privacy varies, but on most weekends you can be out of site of other campers. Many campsites have fire-pits already, but you're welcome to make your own anywhere you'd like. While camping, you may be visited by over 100 friendly, free roaming FARM ANIMALS! You may feed them, but PLEASE dont let them eat plastic bags. Be sure to put all food away when you are done. We cannot offer reimbursement for tents damaged by animals. This is extremely rare, but it CAN happen. If you do not wish to put your tent at risk, please do not camp here. The farm was once an old bungalow colony and has some glass and metal still in the soil. Please wear shoes at all times. Firewood is available at several locations around the farm. There is a heated sink and shower in the back corner of our main camping area. Boats are available at our lakeside dock, at no charge. There is also a great mountain for hiking and a super secret swimming hole, both within a 10 minute drive. Also enjoy a child free visit, as we do not allow children under 16 years old. We are located in the heart of the Hudson Valley, close to the Village of Rhinebeck and the Hudson River. There are many things to do within a half an hour of the campsite. Learn more about this land: A very spacious semi-wooded site that is in the shape of a triangle. The dimensions are approximately 100' by 100' by 50'. Perfect for the large group camp out or the family site. The Lean-to is approximately 10'x9', large enough for a small tent or keep the picnic table in there for bad weather. Large or multiple tents no problem, put your tents in the wooded area where there is room for multiple tents. There is a fire pit area, picnic table, 4 outdoor chairs and corn hole that all are included with the site. A seasonal stream runs along the campsite giving you a nice bubbling brook sound. Plenty of privacy. Within 15-20 minutes of our site is just about anything you could desire. Local restaurants, hiking, fishing, shopping, drive in movie and much much more. Rainy days no problem explore one of our nations pieces of history, Vanderbilt mansion, Theodore Roosevelt home, Montgomery Place Mansion, Poets walk, Ferncliff forest, or Art Omi.
