My husband and I bought our camp property when our children were young, and our kids grew up there. Between frog-catching contests, paddle boats, picnics, dirt biking, bonfires, camp outs, and the occasional wedding it was our special getaway. Now that the kids are growing up and going out on adventures of their own, we decided it's time we share our little piece of heaven with others, and so here we are, meeting new people from all over the world, making new connections, and enjoying the opportunity to share this beautiful woodland and pond property that we've been blessed with. Our tent is within 10 minutes of Salt Springs State park, with waterfalls and amazing trails for hiking. We are about 30 minutes or less from Ross park Zoo and Animal adventure. We are located about 35-45 minutes north of Scranton PA. There is also 12 minutes to the historic small town of Montrose, with great shopping at Hometown Finds and Friends, to a most stop shop for amazing chocolate at Chocolate by Leopold.

Popular hiking and mountain-biking trails in Shindagin Hollow State Forrest are accessible just a short walk down our dirt road (0.25 mi.). Brooktondale is just outside of Ithaca, NY. 2 nights at Labrador Mountain Yurt
We loved the Yurt on Labrador Mountain. If your looking for a camping experience with the comfort of a hotel room, this is the place for you. It is so beautiful in the fall. Jan and Ken are great hosts and their attention to detail is unmatched. The tub is deep. Its the perfect place to visit. Cannot recommend it enough.

Weekend Trip to Canvas Private Glamping Yurt
Heather’s glamping Yurt was perfect! The privacy was beyond amazing and the property was absolutely beautiful!!
Heather was very responsive and available for any questions or needs that came up, although the site was so thoughtfully set up, we didn’t even find a need to ask for anything!!
We loved discovering the rock wall behind our site and the sunset from that space was really neat.
We utilised the farm store on the property for our morning eggs, they were fantastic!! Nothing like farm fresh eggs to start the day off right. We didn't get any milk or meat that was also available there but it was nice to know if we had wanted some, we wouldn’t have to go far to get it!
The private heated shower and the flushable toilet will persuade any non-camping enthusiast to come out and discover how wonderful this experience is!!
Fire wood is readily available just a hop, skip down from Site 2, where we stayed. Only one lil hop from site 1!
I would highly recommend this Yurt camping experience to anyone!!!!!!!

Absolutely amazing camping trip! The yurt was huge, beautifully set up, and the bed was cozy and warm. The site itself was private and spacious, with everything provided to make camping effortless — from a fully stocked kitchen to all the camping essentials. All we had to bring was food and clothes. My dogs loved it, and the highlight for my 4-year-old was helping milk a cow and playing with the baby calves — she’s still talking about it! A perfect mix of comfort and adventure. We’ll definitely be coming back.

If you haven't figured it out yet this glamping site is on a working farm. Not a campground. And, there are only two camp sites so it's very private compared to traditional campground camping. On the other hand, if you are looking for a communal feel this is not the place for you.
The site and amenities were great. Not often do you have a flush-able toilet and hot shower at your campsite. The gas cook top was our choice for cooking. We saved the fire pit for smores.
Other than an escape from the rat race, we hiked most days. Salt Springs State Park was great but definitely explore the 400+ acres of the farm and take a tour of the farm.
Site #2 was great for us. It was more secluded than site #1 and has more trees so it was nice and cool even when the sun was out. Maybe site #1 would be better in the colder months.
We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone wanting to get away and unplug. Oh, and on the topic of unplugged my AT@T cell service worked fine but my wife's Verizon had no service.

The site was amazing ! We loved everything about it except the mosquitos lol. We were so comfortable and relaxed. If you have time I recommend you check out salt springs state park it was like a 10 min drive away and was perfect for the heat! We will def want to be back one day!

Amazing! Is an understatement! The yurt is completely equipped for everything you could possibly need! I noticed sunrise from the bed, which was amazing! Big fan of the soaking tub and big fan of the heated toilet seat!! All in all incredible spot!! Totally what we needed a weekend away in peace!
