Perfect family camping trip
It’s clear that so much care and attention went into creating this peaceful retreat. The site was incredibly quiet, clean, and well cared for—and to our surprise, there were hardly any bugs! I’m usually a mosquito magnet and didn’t get a single bite.
The trailer itself was fully stocked with everything we could possibly need for cooking, sleeping, and relaxing. All we had to bring were our clothes and food. Both the interior and outdoor setup were well equipped and cozy.
The pond on the property was a lovely spot to unwind. Our kids had a great time fishing, and we spent countless hours lounging in the hammocks by the pond and under the pergola. They were so comfy, we could’ve slept in them lol.
Jodi was incredibly warm, welcoming, and communicative. When she stopped by to drop off firewood, we ended up having some great conversations by the fire about the history of the property and the surrounding area.
During our stay, we explored Robert H. Treman State Park and Buttermilk Falls Gorge—both absolutely stunning. As Canadians, we found that eating out nearby was a little pricey with the exchange rate, so we mostly cooked at the site, which worked out perfectly thanks to how well everything was set up.
We’ll definitely be back. Thank you for such a relaxing stay :)
