This is a beautiful piece of property located in the heart of the Finger Lakes and Wine Country of NY. It features a stunning spring fed waterfall and nice forest land. Very close to town but also very secluded and private. Great place to unwind and relax from our everyday lives. It is situated however in a gully next to a creek and waterfall so it is susceptible to heavy rains. It is recommended to at least have an AWD vehicle if rainy. I can usually help campers with getting to the site in my side X side if you need to park up at the pasture. Please order enough wood initially as I have found I spend a lot of time delivering extra wood to campers. It seems as if you will typically go through 2 bundles per night on average. Also I supply a contractor size garbage bag to you if you choose garbage removal. It is also a good idea to text me when you have a solid ETA so I can be here to take you to the site. I want to mention that the two sites closest to the waterfall are a slight hike in and can only accommodate up to 4 person tents so if a bigger group or vehicle camping you will be placed at another site. Sadly, we must relent to the colder temperatures of NY State and will be closed until mid-April when the Earth tilts back towards the Sun :) IF you'd like to guarantee a spot at Pooh's Corner, you can still book for 2026. See you all in the Spring! We hope you enjoy Pooh's Corner as much as we enjoy having all of you great Hipcampers sharing our beautiful Fingerlakes Region with us. Pooh's Corner lies in a rural area just 1.5 miles from Watkins Glen. (3315 County Road 28, Watkins Glen, NY 14891). We took great care to make sure each campsite is PRIVATE (parking on-site*) and the trails are easily navigable. Our 'Welcome Shed' is equipped with a compost toilet, local information, (newly added) Hot Water Station, first-aid kit, charging station, bug spray etc. and is located in a safe, well lit, open area on the property. Each site is equipped with a fire pit and comfortable seating with tables, chairs, and/or picnic tables and tripod grills. Firewood is available on a donation basis. There are State Parks and places to hike one of the many gorges around beautiful Seneca Lake and surrounding area. Take a tour of the many wineries and breweries which our region is famous for. Enjoy hiking, swimming, biking, kayaking, and many historical sites to see. Our reviews tell it all. We know you'll love it here :) *PLEASE NOTE: Our sites are custom made for TENT or CAR camping. Because we have "parking on-site", Large RVs, Campers (over 16'), and any 5th-wheel campers are very difficult to place since there are no easy ways to back in or turn around. We highly recommend "Havana Glen State Park" (same general area) for those types of camping units.

2 RV sites tucked away on a paved county road 3 miles off of Route 414 in Lodi, NY. These sites are close to the NY State Wine Trail with the closest winery a 10 min drive away. Lodi Point State Park is also 5 miles away with public access to Seneca lake. Lodi Point features a boat launch, nice playgrounds and swimming areas. As we are located in beautiful Fingerlakes, you can also find many other state parks including Sampson, Watkins Glen, Hector and Taughannock, all within a short drive. Taughannock Falls is a must see with its 215 foot plunge waterfalls. Each of our RV sites has a 16ft x 45ft stone pad and full electric hook ups with a 110v 20 amp, 30 amp, and 50 amp service. A picnic table and campfire ring are on each site, but there are no water or sewage hook ups available. There is no bathroom on site, you must bring your own. Sampson State Park is the nearest dump station. If you’re Looking for a quiet spot to spend a night or two, this is place for you.

Weekend Trip to Haven in the trees

Beautiful location and views! The cabin is so lovely- straight forward but also well equipped with lots of thoughtful touches and art! Loved hanging on the screen-in porch and being able to take a hot shower outside. Sauna was incredible, just takes time and patience :) Air mattress was comfier than I expected too. I hope to return for another staycation in the woods soon!

A very nice camp site (#2). This is located down a rural road that is a little rough. The area was quiet. Nathan stopped in after we got set up and talked to us about some local attractions, which, unfortunately, we were not able to visit. There definitely will be a next time. Very easy access to the site with large gravel drives and pads.

This was our second time camping at Ken's (this time with friends and their baby) and it was just as beautiful as we remembered it! Coming later in the season from our first visit meant more rain and fewer campers on the property, which was autumnally idyllic with all of the changing colors on the surrounding trees. It was a wonderful treat as ever to have those waterfalls as our shower throughout our stay. Already looking forward to our next trip out!

Weekend Trip to The Spotted Sandpiper

Spent 3 nights in Glamp 1 in October of 2025. It was 40s at night and rained 2 of the nights, but we stayed warm with the heater (and an electric blanket we brought)! It was dry inside the tent despite the rain. Area is beautiful. Due to weather, didn't spend any time on the lake, but did make use of the shower areas, which worked well - hot water and shower/bathroom walkable from Glamp 1. Kate answered all questions before and during the stay. Shampoo/conditioner and towels provided. Great affordable glamping experience!!

This is my second time here visiting upstate NY! Poohs Korner is my favorite place to camp. Not only do I feel safe, but I love the fact that it’s still camping, and the amenities are close by! The compost toilet is genius, & Mike and Sheryl are so sweet! Minutes from downtown. If I ever come back to Watkins Glen. I will always book with Pooh’s Korner.

This was a great spot!! Nathan and his family were so wonderful. Google sent us to the wrong spot and Nathan was very quick to answer the phone and direct us to the campsite. A wonderful spot on a quiet road that goes right to the lake. Very level site with electric hookups, picnic table and fire pit. Pitcher pump on the property was a bonus. We had the full moon the night we were there and it was amazing. Unfortunately, we were only there for one night and we had a problem with our dogs so we didn't get to explore as much as we would have liked. We will definitely be back.

We had an absolutely beautiful weekend camping at Pooh's Corner! The campground is incredibly peaceful and private - exactly what we were looking for. Each site feels tucked away, surrounded by nature, with plenty of space to relax and unwind. Quiet, untouched, and full of peace. Our small dog, Luna, enjoyed the trails that are available. Everything was clean and well-maintained, and you can tell the owners (Matt & Cheryl) really care about keeping it that way. We loved sitting by the campfire at night, listening to the quiet, starlit nights and waking up to birds and sunshine in the morning. It was the perfect escape from the noise and rush of everyday life. It was a breath of stillness. Location is ideal as it is close to Watkin's Glen and numerous wineries on Seneca Lake. The cabin was a lovely retreat and had all the essentials and more needed for the two of us and our pup. Highly recommend the walk to the park waterfall. Also nice added touches to have a good space heater and corn hole set up available. Very easy to access Watkins Glen and nearby parks.
