Very quiet with great swimming and lots of hikes right from your sites. 2 of the Brookside Sites (Wishbone Left and Right) are close by (2.7 miles) where we have another 1/2 mile of river frontage and can handle bigger groups as Conservation land on Sunrise Farm only allows 4 campers per site. Sunrise Farm Sites 1 and 2 have oodles of space and Spectacular 50 mile views of Mount Monadnock with no house lights out there in the evening except the party string lights we provide. Site 1 (with entrance 70 yards south of the farmhouse) is best for camping in with up to 20 foot trailers or multiple tents …on the large flat spaces in the 25 acre field to choose from. Great Well water available near farmhouse. Biodegradable soaps Only if used in the ponds. Double Olympic sized Swim Pond we stock with Rainbow Trout to keep clear. We have been advised Not to allow imported firewood (can import Wood Beetle dangerous for our forest). - PLEASE use the Firewood bundle tubs we provide ($12.50) - pick up at the farmhouse or pull wood from the woods (and make it safer for use). Beautiful and plenty of wildlife nearby... as well as Outhouses are marked on Map we provide with solar lights marking them at night. Do Not Leave food out when camping or away from site. Bears are rarely seen but it is wild country. Sites have locking garbage lids. Unique and lovely as well as being next to trails and roads to miles of remote spots with very few if any ... people. In Winter we request only AWD vehicles go down to this site or park up by farmhouse and hike in so you can easily get out. When wet park up by the road if you have 2 wheel drive. 2 nights at Lake Lauderdale Campground

This campground is easy to park with a convenient bathroom and showers that are fairly clean. Toilets were cleaned both mornings. The last shower stall is large enough to get clothes away from shower area. The shower heads are intelligently placed facing toward the back wall and there was plenty of hot water. The washer and dryer are reasonably priced. We were there late in the season and they were doing some work with chain saws. Perhaps in preparation for the next season. Absolutely no managerial people spoke to us and the office was closed when we arrived. We just went to our reserved site.

Excellent location, so close to Saratoga Springs and Utica. We enjoyed the cozy campsite, with 30 amp service, water and sewer. Site also has toilets and showers. Matt was a great host and keeps the place in good shape.

Highly recommend Lake Lauderdale Campground! The owner was so kind - he even waited for us when we arrived late to make sure we knew where to park and to answer any questions. The place is magical, quiet, and absolutely beautiful. Waking up to that view in the morning was such a treat! Of course, there are full hookups (electricity, water, and dump). We had an amazing experience here and truly hope to come back in the future!

Absolutely stunning site with equally beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Neighbors are pretty close, but it was still very private and quiet. Expansive fields, wildflowers, close to the pond if you want a dip. Super close to town and great hikes. I recommend the Mount Olga via Tower Trail hike- short, pretty easy, and amazing views. Hiked with my 5 year old and she loved it too. Thank you, Roy!

Hands down one of the best bathrooms I’ve ever encountered at a camp site - extremely clean, great shower, amazing! Pair that with a good location near some local hikes, smaller number of sites so you aren’t packed in with a bunch of people, and the easy access to firewood…would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a dog friendly, cozy spot with everything you could need for a quick trip 👌🏼 Definitely on our list if we return to the Lake George area in the future.

Jeff and Milton have a lovely property in a beautiful part of upstate NY. We chose it as it was a short distance from the Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC) for a show we planned to attend. We enjoyed riding bikes along the country roads and the pups had a great time playing in the lush grass. The 30 amp hookup worked perfecty and the well water was clean and clear. We also had a fun evening by the fire on our last night and highly recommend this spot for a unique private getaway in a gorgeous setting with wonderful and helpful hosts.

We had an amazing stay at Granite Hill Lodge! The site was peaceful, and the setting was gorgeous—perfect for relaxing by the fire. The host, Kelly, was welcoming and made everything easy from check-in to checkout. Some highlights for us were trails to beautiful views, modern showers and nice picnic tables. The site had firewood available, showers and bathrooms on site, decent service for ATT but Verizon has a tower right in the property. We’d definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a quiet retreat. We can’t wait to come back!

The sites are spacious, and the campground very quiet. The two lookout points were beautiful! Bath house very clean! Plenty of wood for guests... Everything you need for a genuinely enjoyable camping experience!
