Relax in a secluded, comfortable tent while enjoying the music of the frogs. The land is a mix of cleared and wooded areas with a half acre pond. In the spring the pond comes alive with the singing of frogs and the blinking of fireflies. Enjoy a campfire in the evening and a brilliant display of stars. The pond is nice for swimming or paddling. We provide a kayak or just sit on the dock or relax in the hammock. The village of Callicoon is a ten minute drive with great restaurants, a brewery, distillery, wine bar, grocery store, vintage shops, live music and a wonderful farmers market on the weekend. From town, you can also book a canoe trip on the Delaware River. Bethel Woods Center for the Arts is a 15 minute drive for great concerts and an interesting museum. There will be a list in the tent with suggested activities in the surrounding area if you choose to go exploring. We provide kindling, firewood, bedding, fresh eggs from our chickens and brownies from our kitchen. There is a small cupboard attached to the picnic table with everything you will need for meals on the campfire. A cooler is provided, please bring your own ice. There will be 2 large jugs of water at the site and additional water at the handwashing station on the back side of the outhouse. The site offers total privacy. Parking is within a couple minutes walk to the site and there will be a cart to help you transport your gear. We are a couple of longtime residents of this beautiful piece of the planet and we look forward to sharing it with you.

We recommend bringing inflatables and or kayaks to take advantage of the beautiful river. Guests can drop in a few miles up river, and float down to the campsite. Private and off-grid tiny home near the Neversink Unique Area hiking trails. This tiny house is approximately a tenth of a mile from guest parking. A marked trail to the site with trail markers for easy direction. This tiny house has solar powered WIFI and lights. This is not an insulated structure and during the winter months there is no running water. The outhouse is located about 50 feet from the tiny house. The Tiny House is located in a very private and remote location that sits next to thousands of acres of state land with beautiful hiking trails and access to the Neversink River. Guest access Private and easy parking with short hike down hill to the site if you are unable to drive directly to the site (NOTE: During the winter months all guests must park in the designated parking spot and hike to the site. You cannot drive as a result of the unpredictable weather) While the hike is short, some parts are steep, so please walk slowly and take your time. Driving to the site can only be done during the spring and summer months and requires a high clearance Truck, Jeep or SUV with all wheel drive or 4-Wheel Drive ONLY. Keypad on the front door for easy entry. Other details to note Unless you have an all wheel drive or four wheel drive vehicle, Please DO NOT drive or attempt to drive to the tiny house site. IF you decide to drive an all wheel drive or four wheel drive vehicle, it is at your own risk and the owners are not responsible for any damages. (NOTE: During the winter months all guests must park in the designated parking spot and hike to the site. You cannot drive as a result of the unpredictable weather) Please keep in mind the WIFI and lights are solar powered, therefore we cannot always guarantee its consistency. Please also note this site is off grid with a rain-catch water system, therefore we cannot guarantee there will always be running water. NOTE: PLEASE DO NOT DRINK THIS WATER. The outdoor shower has been updated with a hot water rain catch system. Please be conscious of your water usage, as the water for the shower is collected via a gutter system. If you run out of water in the shower you will need to wait for the next rainfall for it to collect and build back up. During the late fall and winter months, this site will be open to winter campers who come prepared with the necessities and truly know how to winter camp. There will be no running water during this time and the solar will not work as well as it does during the summer months. We recommend not using the electric during the daytime hours, as this helps conserve power for when you will need to use it at night. This campsite is nestled in the deep woods of a 120 acre farm that offers beautiful views coming and going. After being allowed to use the restroom at the stone farmhouse, you will then go rustic and start your 3/4 - 1 mile hike in (approximately 20 minutes to the campsite) past the fields and pond down the path into the woods. The trail is remote and you will instantly be able to leave the sights and sounds of civilization behind you and breath the clean forest air. Wear good hiking shoes because portions of the hike are uneven and rocky. This site is best for experienced campers who know how to pack light with just the essentials as there is no tractor service to this campsite. When you arrive at the campsite, you will be within 20 feet of a year round stream with brook trout and in a hundred foot tall hemlock canopy nestled between two brook meadows. A 9,000 acre forested preserve abuts our property so you will be able to completely relax, bird watch, enjoy the wildlife, or fish for a brook trout breakfast without hearing the sounds of anyone but yourselves. The campsite has a stone fire pit, split log benches for seating, a canvas privacy blind around a stand of trees where the composting toilet resides, and a food bag lift to attach your food and trash bags to about 100 yards from the campsite. Unlimited Split firewood is free next to where you will park that you can take down to the site. All trash needs to be carted out with you. We can't accept mixed trash as it will attract animals that will knock over the trashcans and make a mess. No food goes in our personal trashcans as we have learned this the hard way. Weekend Trip to Little Birds Farm

Jeremy is an amazing guy. We booked it one the worst coldest snowstorm of the year but when we got there we realized the its more of a longer walk. Jeremy ended up letting us stay for free at his tree house. Would definitely come back and and highly reccomend this for anyone else. Beautiful land, great amenities and great host.

Beautiful cabin, everything is very well built and thoughtful. There was a diesel heater that heated the space up great and a portable propane heater as well. The site is secluded and hosts were very nice. Highly recommend!

everything you’ll ever need for a cozy stay outdoors. we chose this spot because of the tiny shelter it afforded during what was going to be below freezing temps. The kitchen space and bed set up was much appreciated and allowed us to focus enjoying the stay itself. The owners were super helpful getting us setup and providing a welcoming space. Bring layers and everything you need to keep warm in the winters - we even caught a light snow storm on our morning of departure! would come back again.

Secluded and peaceful campsite! Would recommend for a quick stay or get away, but will note there is no outhouse or picnic table for use so be sure to plan ahead for that!

4 nights at Trails Head Tiny House

We love Tiny House as it’s nestled in the woods and feels very private. The hosts are kind, give clear instructions, and they’re super responsive to any questions that may come up. We love to tent camp and this tiny house is a great option for the colder months. We were not able to use the woodstove during our stay, but there is also a diesel heater which warms the place quickly, and for a quieter option, a small portable propane heater (purchase cans of propane at the conveniently located trading post which also has literally anything else you may forget at home). As others have mentioned, the path down to Tiny House is steep… like for REAL. An ACTUAL 4-wheel drive can make it, but ONLY if the ground is dry. That said, be prepared to hike in/out your gear if need be. And if that’s not your cup of tea, we did discover that the hosts have a couple reasonably priced Airbnbs in the area - check out Cabin in Rock Hill “Trails Head Cabin” (on the same street as Tiny House) or nearby Home in Rock Hill “Beaver Lake Escape”. Our reason for visiting was to tackle the challenging hikes of the Neversink waterfalls. Trails Head Tiny House provided amazing access, as well as, respite from our hectic city life. We look forward to a future visit!

Weekend Trip to The Record Room

We stayed at the Record Room Cabin this past weekend and absolutely loved it! The hot tub with warm water and hot tub made for such a unique experience — truly unforgettable. The sense of privacy and peace was perfect, and the vinyl record collection was just incredible. There's even a magnificent pool table under a canopy with a view of the forest – a truly stunning sight. I agree with all the comments above. This is truly an amazing place! I really hope to come back again!

Weekend Trip to Hippie Havens: A Groovy Retreat

I would recommend this place to all my friends! The cabin itself was perfect for a weekend getaway having all the essentials needed and some nice extras like the hot tub and sauna. The area was incredibly beautiful and close to a cute little town. Despite some travel issues, we were met with kindness and flexibility, which show how amazing they were at hosting! We also got some very good local recommendations :) we’ll definitely be back!

3 nights at The Record Room

My sweetheart and I had such an amazing time at The Record Room. We stayed for 3 nights and we wish we had one more! It was a cozy getaway that felt timeless. We loved setting the vibe with the records, dancing in the living room, and just enjoying some slow, peaceful days. It was cold when we went and one day was particularly rainy, but there is a lot to enjoy indoors and the fireplace kept us warm and cozy. One thing to note is that the wood provided is rather thin and burns fast. For this reason, heating the hot tub and keeping the indoor fireplace lit is a JOB! We had to add every 15 minutes or so. Our recommendation is to start early on the hot tub and bring some of your own logs as well - even better if they’re the big fire-starter ones. Overall it’s a special place. Masen and his family are great hosts and we hope to make it back again someday.

Our stay at this site was amazing. The site itself was beautiful and perfect for tent camping. The hike in isn’t too bad and is short enough that you can make a couple trips if absolutely needed. Many things like a pan, saw, axe, and firewood were already provided on site which was definitely a pleasant surprise. Jeremy was super helpful and responsive whenever we had any questions. I would definitely recommend this site to people who are looking for camping with a bit more privacy. I would definitely consider coming back for another trip.

We such a groovy time at Hippies Haven. The hosts thought of every detail to make our stay special. Loved the hot tub and listening to records while sitting by the fire. The heater keep the room nice and toasty. View is spectacular and it was so sweet to wake up to a deer family grazing in the yard.
