My second glamping site "The Medieval Encampment", is available for booking starting April 1st of 2025. I will have more pictures soon. In April of 2024, my long awaited 1st Glamping site was available for booking. It's been very popular! Please read the description carefully of the "Gypsy Rose Vardo", to see if it's the right fit for you.
I also have 10 large camping sites available on our 33 acre property located in Northwest NJ. Sites 1 through 4 are on mowed, fairly level fields and are large enough for campers or RV's up to 30ft, or a couple of tents, and sites 5 and 6 are further back in the woods, available only for a few small tents, sites 7 through 10 are much further into the property and are only accessible with a high clearance AWD or 4WD SUV or you can park and hike your gear in. There are 3 compost toilet outhouses spread out through the property, so it's an easy walking distance from any site.
Although we are only 2 1/2 miles from a main highway, the last 2 miles are on a dirt road with no houses.
We are surrounded by protected land, so no neighbors and lots of wildlife, including the occasional bear, coyote or raccoon. Keep all food items secured. Because we are surrounded by protected land we are not sprayed for insects, so be safe and do tick checks often and bring the bug spray.
We are 45 minutes from NYC or the Delaware Water Gap and an hour away from the NJ shore. There are horse farms nearby that offer trail rides. We are also close to the Highland and Appalachian Hiking trails.
There are two reservoirs within a 20-minute drive for canoeing or kayaking.
There are walking trails through our property, including a ten-minute hike on a marked trail to a small waterfall in a ravine.

Our 2 and a half acre property is situated in a very rural quiet area. The Wickecheoke creek, a tributary of the Delaware, runs through the property. There is a private seating area for serene enjoyment and private meditation.
Each camp site has a small private firepit and picnic table and the cabin has a large firepit, a patio area, and back deck. Plenty of wood is available - free again this season.
There is a wooded site, an open site for self contained campers and tent campers, the "lil log cabin" and a large open grassy area, fun for children or dogs to recreate.
How about camping in a Vintage Camper! We have on its own site a 1965 Trotwood, canned ham style camper. This cozy piece of the past is restored for nostalgic reflection. It has fine appointments, kitchenette, indoor private potty. She will sleep 4 comfortably.
Or, stay in 'little log cabin' our cozy and complete cottage with full kitchen, full bathroom, queen size bed, and a pull out sofa, extra cot and pack and play. (Sleeps 4).
There are many parks, conservation reserves and nature trails to hike nearby. Your can bike along farm roads in the area and find places to have your picnic lunch. Forgot some supplies?- within 3 short miles are many shops, services and resturants, many deliver.
Several varieties of wildlife are in the area: you will spot eagles, white tail deer, racoons, wild turkeys and red fox, to name a few, while you stroll, bike or drive throught the area.
Stop at the many creeks and enjoy the vibrant sounds of the bubbling waters; fish, frogs , turtles, blue heron and the many critters who habitate the waters.
For birders there are over 75 species of birds within a short walk. During changes of seasons you can often see many birds in flight migrating to far away places. Bring your binoculars and camera.
For you shop and antique explorers, just a short drive to the Delaware River and its quaint villages only 10 miles away: Lambertville, New Hope and Frenchtown. Boutiques, art studios, antique shops and restaurants .
Enjoy any one of the many local Brewers, Distileries and vineyards all within a short drive of Oak Grove Acres.

Our horse farm is located in one of the most rural areas of Southern New Jersey. This land was once occupied by The Lanape Tribe. The adjacent creek was named after Chief Alloway. Artifacts of Native Americans have been found alongside this brackish water creek. This farm was for many years a dairy farm which was passed on for 3 generations until the late 80's.
Our main horse breeds are 5 Arabians followed by 2 Thoroughbreds and 2 miniature ponies. In addition to horses you will see free range rabbits, chickens and beautiful cows.
There are many antique shops in this area which tell the rich History of Southern NJ. Cowen mall and Royal Port are my two favorites.
Another must see experience (at least once) in the area is The Cowtown Rodeo, one of the first and oldest in the country, only 14 minutes drive.
Cool and brand new Brewery opening up soon right across the rd from Cowtown and right next to The best Cowboy outfitter.

We have two private, quiet and roomy wooded campsites, both with shared access to a private-entrance indoor bathroom with shower, a jacuzzi, a washer/dryer and now an ice plunge that you can set to your desired temp. The bathroom, W/D, jacuzzi and ice plung are at the main house about 150 yards away. One site, Deep Woods 1, has power and party lights. Our second site, Serenity Now, has a screened gazebo. Both have plenty of parking, fire pits, chairs, and unlimited wood. Bring your tent or small camper van and enjoy! We're eight minutes to the OCNJ beaches, without the crowds and expense. Located 50 miles from midtown Manhattan (approx 1:08 minutes) is our brand new campsite located right off the Appalachian Trail. The camp is at the base of Wawayanda mountain right between the iconic hikes "Stairway to Heaven" and "Pochuck Boardwalk" on the Appalachian Trail. Hike right from camp up to "Pinwheel Vista" (named one of NJ's best viewpoints!)
At the entrance to the property is the Valley Farmers Cooperative that sells local grass fed meats and artisanal farm goods. You can walk two minutes to Heaven Hill Farm which has plenty of goods, produce, and fun fall activities like pumpkin picking and haunted hayrides. Drive your car from route 94 directly to your campsite nestled in the woods with a great view of the valley. A perfect getaway from the city with plenty to offer.
About 10 minutes down 94 is the beautiful town of Warwick or about 4 minutes in the opposite direction is the town of Vernon. Warwick is a quaint small town with plenty of great restaurants and bars, and famous for its apple picking. Vernon has plenty to offer as well including the popular ski resort/waterpark Mountain Creek and Minerals Spa (Located just under 10 minutes away.)
The quiet charm of Wawayanda State Park appeals to hikers, campers, swimmers and boaters. Forested hills surround Lake Wawayanda creating a restful backdrop for canoeists and fisherman, while steep mountains challenge casual as well as serious hikers. A twenty-mile stretch of Appalachian Trail runs through the park, while the top of Wawayanda Mountain offers sensational views. More than sixty miles of trails are marked in the park.

I booked this site last minute and it was a great choice! Site 9 felt secluded enough for quiet and relaxation but close enough to everything you needed. The site was right next to two of the trails and the waterfall was an amazing view! Kathy was also incredibly nice and welcoming and I will be back for sure!

An hour and change out of the sweltering hum of Manhattan, the world simply falls away. We came to this hidden fold of the earth to celebrate ten years of being together a decade of surviving the beautiful, bruising slipstream of life by each other's side and found ourselves in a sanctuary of brilliant isolation.
We arrived under a dramatic sheet of gray rain, a torrential downpour that initially tested our resolve. But by the next two days, the storm beautifully broke. The clouds parted like a heavy velvet curtain, allowing the sun to peak through and illuminate a labyrinth of trails twisting through the dense, whispering canopy. By our final day, the Forrest thawed into a spectacular, sun-drenched 80 degrees of pure summer bliss.
The true heart of this estate is the waterfall. It is an immaculate, roaring piece of theater, where crystal water rushes over ancient, cascading rocks with a clarity that completely rinses the city out of your mind. Perched right beside it, we indulged in the private tipping pole a stroke of pure, decadent genius that felt wonderfully exclusive and utterly sublime.
The logistics here are handled with a quiet, flawless perfection. Kathleen was incredibly hospitable, welcoming us with genuine warmth and ensuring we were generously stocked with an endless supply of dry firewood toilets and just could feel how much she loved this beautiful place and generously shared it! Thanks soo much!

My group’s third time going to this campsite! We love it! We had terribly rainy weather and the many covered spaces around the camp were incredibly helpful. Our kids did not mind the rain so the grownups hung out in the picnic shelter and the youths took over the playground. A perfect mix.

We camped at site #2 Memorial weekend 2026. The surroundings were absolutely beautiful! We arrived on a Friday & unfortunately we got rained on all Saturday so we decided to take a drive & explore. Amazing! We were initially going to say till Monday but Sundays rain was a bit worse. However, still such peaceful get away. We will definitely be returning! I would recommend this Hipcamp to anyone.

Absolutely loved camping here at site 10. If you love a little off-roading my husband had a wonderful time driving in and out of our camp ground and playing with all of his 4x4 settings. Its nothing to crazy either so really no stress of getting stuck (and I say that with it having rained for like 75% of our stay haha). I would definitly bring your own toilet at this spot. The walk is doable but it aint close lol I was glad we brought ours especially with all the rain. Lots to do around the camp ground and so nice and peaceful. It was a wonderful weekend of unwinding once we got dried off from setting up in the rain. I would happily camp here again. :)

Weekend Trip to Creekside at Crystal Lake
The cabin is small and quite comfortable. Great bed and couch. No power but there are battery power lights. A generator is available for a small fee and that might be essential in the heat of summer to run the AC. Sits all by itself away from the host’s home giving excellent privacy. Nice driveway into the cabin and easy to find. We stayed just one night but this would be a great base to see the area sites.

This spot was absolutely perfect - directions were clear, both Tom and MaryAnn were there to greet us and direct us to our site, and were more than willing to help with some setup! The site was level and well maintained, good water pressure and dependable electric. It’s very private and quiet with a small stream on the property. We would definitely stay again!

This is the most wonderful Hipcamp I’ve been to. The camp sites are lovely, well kept, large and private. There are several very clean and odorless outhouse facilities and a place to access water for washing etc. They sell really nice firewood for a reasonable price and have wagons to help you carry to your site. Kathleen is friendly and welcoming. Best of all the property is large and gorgeous. Feels like a secret wonderland with interesting rock formations, waterfalls, beautiful forest and lots of trails to walk (including links to longer trails that go beyond the property itself). Wish I could have stayed longer! Hope to return again someday!

This was the perfect spot for us. After a long day of traffic and driving, it was wonderful to be able to pull into the farm and head toward the woods to our perfect little camping spot. Private, peaceful, and we felt very safe.
Great communication from the host and wonderful directions.
House was gracious and friendly, and we hope to stay there again the next time we come through.

Such a great spot for a quick getaway or long term stay. The grounds were gated and the staff was very friendly.
Most of the amenities were closed for off-season or out-of-service however, which was okay. Quick drive to Cape May or Wildwood. Also, the dog park was pretty spacious for our dog to run around in, however, keep in mind the place is packed with RV setups and tents. I did my best to keep my dog from peeing on someone’s ‘front lawn’ since it’s a lot of gravel and it would sit.
The actual house was very clean. I would buy firewood elsewhere as they have smaller bundles for sale that burn quick. Also make sure to bring all toiletries such as hand soap and extra toilet paper. Also bring pillows with your towels and bedding as they don’t provide any, which was probably a given but I didn’t know that. There’s a Walmart up the street if you forget anything!
Overall, I’d stay again!
