This spring there is a bald eagle who fishes in front of the cabin most days.
We are Brad and Christine and we live further up the driveway in our solar-powered log cabin. While you may catch glimpses of the red cabin or solar array through the trees, we honor your privacy while being nearby in case you need something. We don't overlook the site directly, and you can't see us beyond the occasional glimpse or on the trails passing closer to the buildings. We drive down the driveway past the site if we are leaving or returning home, which we minimize when we have guests.
We are located two miles down a gravel road, 2 miles off Rt. 16, you are 15 minutes from groceries, pharmacies, EV charging, gas, and a local campground who can arrange for you to dump your tanks. Established in 2004, we are an 87 acre ATFS certified Tree Farm located in the Blue Hills Range in the Foothills to NH’s White Mountains. Choose from one of four unique sites / outdoor spaces to best fit your camping needs; book a combination to reserve a section of the mountain, or book all four sites for total privacy or for events.
Our Farm spans the northerly side of Hussey Mountain from the base to the summit. Guests are provided with private access to several miles of multi-use nature trails, multiple scenic lookouts, a three acre PYO blueberry maze, and a dock on our private eight acre pond with available boat rentals.
At the 2WD shared parking area guests are provided with a outdoor shower with hot and cold water, a portable toilet, garden hose for washing, a power strip for charging devices, and a spigot with potable water for filling containers.
Over two decades ago we created our first campsite for the purpose of hosting family and friends. Folks enjoyed camping on the mountain so much they often would choose our farm over traditional campgrounds. Hosting campers became a regular weekend event, and to accommodate more people we created three more sites spread out across the property. In 2020, we came across the Hipcamp app and started offering private reservations to the public. Since, we have been hosting campers on a daily basis and continuously improving our sites / infrastructure / views. We’re excited to see what the next two decades hold; come join us on the mountain!

Hiking on several miles of maintained nature trails marked with clear signage for easy day/night navigation. Relaxing/taking in the scenery from several scenic lookouts located on and around the mountain’s summit; combined they provide a 360-degree view spanning from the NH/ME Seacoast to the White Mountains of NH, to the Green Mountains of VT. Fishing, paddling, swimming, or relaxing on our dock. Bird/wildlife watching, berry picking, stargazing and leaf peeping.

Once you are confirmed an email is sent offering places around this beautiful town that you may visit at your leisure, including Shaker Village, Canterbury Ale works, Canterbury Woods Golf course, Hackleboro Orchards, our own Canterbury Country Store-1 mile away, Cold Garden Sprits is a new small distillery that is fascinating!
If you need more city life amenities like grocery stores or restaurants, the capitol city of Concord to the south, and the town of Tilton and Laconia to the north, are a breeze to access and are less than 20 minutes away.
Direct bookings and advanced reservations are no problem, and we also try to accommodate last minute bookings whenever we can.

There is firewood in each site for your arrival, if you use it, you pay the $8.00, if you order it online, no worries it's there for you already, and extra can be bought and delivered during your stay.

Pine Ridge is a fantastic campground! We originally stayed for 3 nights then extended our time there an additional 2 nights. Jane & Dan are exceptional hosts- the sites are spacious & well-maintained, the bathhouses super clean. Firewood, ice, disc golf, & laundry on-site doesn’t mean you need to leave, however, campground is conveniently located to grocery stores, mini golf, & most importantly, ice cream spots. Live music & a food truck on Saturday night was an extra perk- campground was quiet again by 10PM!

This site was in a well groomed grassy area. Many of them have some shade from a tree but ours didn’t. Each site has a great electric and septic hood up which were easy to use!

My boyfriend and I recently stayed one night and absolutely loved it! Christine was very kind and met us upon arrival. The site was quite private and gorgeously located next to a stream. We really enjoyed being able to have a fire while looking at the water. The two short trails were adorable and, as promised in the description, we did immediately see a porcupine, as well as the neighbor's horses.
I would highly recommend this stay and we hope to return in the future!

I had a wonderful stay at this Hipcamp. The owner was nice enough to meet me at the campsite and tell me all about the property. The bubbling brook is very close by and was awesome to camp near. Site was clean and private. I would absolutely stay again!

Wonderful spot to chill out! So peaceful, well organized, with cool shade for a hot summer day. Check out the ice cream/general store just before you turn off Rte 16 and Ossippi Town Beach a short ride away. Wolfeboro, a pretty New Hampshire town on the lake is a twenty minute ride and has a great bike path!

What a hidden gem! We had the best time staying here. The hosts were incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely made us feel at home from the moment we arrived.
The property is beautiful, and you can tell they put a lot of thought and care into every detail. We loved finding benches placed at scenic spots and chairs gathered around the fire pit, making it easy to relax and enjoy the surroundings.
One of our favorite features was the incredible stone wall. I love cooking over a fire, and I jokingly referred to it as my own "stone wall kitchen!" It quickly became the centerpiece of our campsite experience.
This is the kind of place that feels special the moment you arrive. We’re already looking forward to coming back and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and thoughtfully maintained getaway.

It was such a gift to camp in Christine’s land! We brought our Aliner and parked it next to the beautiful brook. The natural fireplace was perfect and very comfy chairs were provided along with a beautiful wood live edge picnic table. I relaxed in the hammock that was there, and enjoyed hiking on her trails. We will definitely go back. What a treasure!

Oh my goodness, what a lovely, secluded, peaceful place to camp in our Roadtrek! Christine has set up this spot very thoughtfully, from the fire pit with rockers, to the chairs and bench overlooking the babbling brook, to the easy to grab firewood and trail signs. Her highly detailed directions to this place at the end of a gravel road were spot on, as was her speedy communication. My only wish is that we could have spent more time there! Highly recommend. I give 6 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I appreciated the way they accommodated the late arrival for me, I was stuck in awful traffic on the way up and they were so accommodating to let me set up and officially check in the next day after ai reserved online, I got there late at night and it was a relief. They also were so helpful to supervise my hookup of all lines and were pleasant and cheerful.

Excellent site we timed the brook perfectly after a heavy rainstorm. When we arrived our host was standing in the pouring rain to help in case we needed it. Brought firewood after the rain stopped and there’s donkeys and horses in the field across from the campsite. Wonderful place.
