We are at the top of Raccoon Hill. Overlooking a valley with Punch Brook at the bottom. You can see Belknap Mountain across the way. There are many trails nearby. The state snowmobile trails run nearby with access at the power lines that cross Raccoon Hill, Great for hiking, biking in the summer. And snowmobiling in the winter. State rail trail is nearby also (bottom of Raccoon Hill and rt 11) Giving access to the entire state! Highland Lake is a few miles away. Webster Lake is a bit further down the road. Fishing ponds are all over the area. Ragged mountain is 20 minutes from here. The mountain biking park in Northfield is about 20 minutes away. Black Bear Vineyard is a few miles away. Enjoy our 73 acres in peace. Our site has a well you can use to fill up your tanks, we recommend using an in-line filter as the water is not tested. We recommend using it for showers and toilets. 2 50amp hook ups. And septic hook ups.

3 nights at Deep Woods Hideaway
We had a fantastic stay in Billy's camper last weekend when we were in the area to bike at Highland. We enjoyed it so much we're going back next week! His property is private with beautiful Mountain View's and the camper was spotless with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. He was an amazing host, even dropping off wood so we could make a fire in the evening. It felt more like a relaxing getaway than staying in a hotel like we usually do, and the camper had plenty of space for several adults to stay comfortably. He isn't kidding that you need four wheel drive to get up the steep driveway - but the views are worth it!

Weekend Trip to Deep Woods Hideaway
Billy is a great host! He's bought a beautiful plot of land and is developing it himself, and in the mean time has created a few sites for folks of the hipcamp persuasion. We stayed in the camper, it was super comfortable, and Billy was very responsive and helpful to make sure we had a great stay. I'd highly recommend. Only note would be that when you enter the property, it kind of looks like you're driving into a construction site, Billy's driveway goes straight up hill and the address marker is a small plaque on the road. You're in the right place, and if you have trouble finding it just give Billy a call. 10 min from Tilton, Tilt'N Diner is right there, plus a walgreens and anything else you may need. Great spot, we'll be back for sure!

This is a nice quiet secluded spot. Not having to bring our own wood was a really nice. Billy's is having enough logged going on that I doubt he'll ever run out. You definitely need to have four wheel drive to getup the driveway and through the freshly logged area to get to the campsite. My VW barely made it 100 yard in the driveway, before having to turn back. I think we would more than happy to return to this camp site again.

This was a wonderful glamping site—privately tucked away from the road, extremely clean, and surprisingly free of bugs. All the supplies we needed were provided, making for a very comfortable stay. Overall, it was a great experience and we would definitely recommend it!
The only minor downside was the sound of cars from the nearby Motorsport park, but it didn’t impact our enjoyment too much. Also, be aware that the road leading to the tent has a slight hill. Higher-clearance vehicles are best suited for it—our sedan struggled a bit and we were concerned about the undercarriage.

We had an absolutely wonderful weekend staying in Billy's camper! From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in for a treat. The camper was spotlessly clean, incredibly cozy, and comfortable.
Billy is an exceptional host - kind, accommodating, and genuinely attentive to our needs. This was our first camper experience, Billy took the time to welcome us personally and give us a thorough tour of all the amenities. His hospitality truly made our stay memorable.
We were searching for the perfect weekend escape that offered both seclusion and stunning natural beauty, and this location delivered exactly that. The views were breathtaking, and the peaceful setting was just what we needed to unwind.
Our dog absolutely loved the stay, especially getting to hang out with Billy's friendly furry co-hosts, Pumpkin and Ranger! It was heartwarming to see them all become fast friends.
The camper itself exceeded our expectations, offering every comfort we could want: a wonderfully warm space on cool nights, a comfortable bed, a cozy fireplace with reclining seats, and a hot shower. Billy checked in with us daily, ensuring we had everything we needed, and was always just minutes away if we required anything.
He provided excellent recommendations for nearby trails and hikes that really enhanced our outdoor adventure.
We honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a perfect blend of comfort and nature!

Beautiful scenery and setup spots. I don’t think my dogs had ever had so much private space to just wander before. They loved that. Host is super responsive. This was my first time needing to prime a well. Host came and did a quick impromptu lesson on priming. And I learned something new. You can hear/see vehicles going by a bit but it didn’t bother me. Would stay again for sure.

Weekend Trip to Tranquility Plateau
Everything about this site is well thought out and well appointed. Functionality, rugged yet simple and elegant. Hardscaping is very well done. Every square inch of the site is well maintained and attended to. Hot water showers and toilet along with stepping stones to and from facilities as well as raised cooking platform for cook stove were awesome. Tent itself was very well kept. I saw a heater inside and think we may extend our season there this fall. A highly recommended spot. Very private spot and tranquil indeed. Waterfall was dry as it was mid August.
