Weekend Trip to Sunrise Farm

This was our 3rd time back to Hussey Mtn. Site 4 is our spot. My son and I have been able to create good memories each visit and the 3rd stay was just as good as the first two. Ebon, the property owner, is always available to answer q’s and he consistently adds nice touches to the property every year. Everything is well maintained and great attention to detail. He knows what campers need on site to be comfortable. So, chalking another trip on the board. Reserve a site and see for yourself.

It’s beautiful place to camp at and very peaceful. Each spot offer different things, #1 (which i tried last year ) give you open view , and #5 give excluding feel (which i tried this year) Overall the place is beautiful, peaceful, and safe, the drive to get there is a amazing as well and they provide almost everything you need and the price is very reasonable and affordable

Weekend Trip to Forest Treasure Island

We had a great camping experience in the woods! The property is beautiful, with its own farm, garden, and cozy patios equipped with BBQ grills—perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature. Even though we were switched from the Cabbage Tent to a regular tent, our host Diana went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Her hospitality truly made the stay memorable. Highly recommend!

Weekend Trip to Sacred Nectar Sanctuary

Great views, awesome host. He was Super helpful and knowledgeable about the area and even gave us information about our next stop on our trip in Maine. We stayed at site 3 which is a short hike up the mountain and well worth it. The wild blueberries everywhere and rocky clearings were a great experience. I highly recommend going with light gear if you’re staying on site 3, or opting for paying the fee to have your gear taken up. I decided to carry some of mine up at first, but after hiking up to check out the trail I was happy to pay the fee.

Great spot. Our second year in a row and there were some pleasantly surprising upgrades this year. Nick had worked on a nice loft in the hunting cabin, a redone outhouse, and some more seats/tables. Was a great 2 night stay with my daughters - a chance for us to disconnect and unwind, hike and explore, and watch the stars.

I cannot say enough good things about this location. Eben, the host, has turned the side of a mountain into an inviting and private place to rest and explore. Me, my husband and dog stayed for 2 nights and even though we got a raining day/night the campsite is so magical that the bad weather didn’t interrupt our ability to have fun and enjoy the gorgeous view. Eben is kind and very helpful. You can see how much he cares about his land. He keeps his acreage as wild as possible while still providing a lot of creature comforts at the site. We cannot wait to come back and next time it will be for more than 2 night

Great peaceful & private spot by Lotus Pond. The swimming pond was perfect for a quick dip, even on a chilly day.

1 night at Sacred Nectar Sanctuary

What a beautiful way to spend a day/night with my dog! Campsite 7 is huge, with three levels, total privacy, two fire pits, and a shelter that made it possible to camp without my tent. Wonderful mountain views abound from both the shelter area and the top level fire pit. A trailhead to Mt Whiteface is right next to the campsite, which made for fun adventures during the day. I hope to return to Sacred Nectar Sanctuary soon!

Though we stayed at site 4 we were able to explore the whole property and even got some of the wild blueberries Eben notated on the site map. We picked a hot week- and still had some beautiful nights and a cool breeze with a view from our hammocks. He was attentive with anything we needed and even helped us get all of our gear up on the heat.

Former Dairy Farm but, the milking and hay barns burned many years Past. Harold's View Farm now camping. There are 4 entrances to the 80 acres of hay fields, now camping sites. Three entrances are for two sites each, the house entrance is for any questions. Please stop in if you have questions. The fields have been maintained to some degree until 2019 when Lee came up with the idea of primitive camping. The land turns out to be ideal because each site makes you feel like the only campers there. Voted 3rd in Vermont by Hip Camp 2022 6 Sites are on Sunrise Farms 75 acre Conservation land with 50 mile view for Sites 1 and 2. Very quiet area with lots of wildlife and ponds and disc golf. Very quiet with great swimming and lots of hikes right from your sites. 2 of the Brookside Sites (Wishbone Left and Right) are close by (2.7 miles) where we have another 1/2 mile of river frontage and can handle bigger groups as Conservation land on Sunrise Farm only allows 4 campers per site. Sunrise Farm Sites 1 and 2 have oodles of space and Spectacular 50 mile views of Mount Monadnock with no house lights out there in the evening except the party string lights we provide. Site 1 (with entrance 70 yards south of the farmhouse) is best for camping in with up to 20 foot trailers or multiple tents …on the large flat spaces in the 25 acre field to choose from. Great Well water available near farmhouse. Biodegradable soaps Only if used in the ponds. Double Olympic sized Swim Pond we stock with Rainbow Trout to keep clear. We have been advised Not to allow imported firewood (can import Wood Beetle dangerous for our forest). - PLEASE use the Firewood bundle tubs we provide ($12.50) - pick up at the farmhouse or pull wood from the woods (and make it safer for use). Beautiful and plenty of wildlife nearby... as well as Outhouses are marked on Map we provide with solar lights marking them at night. Do Not Leave food out when camping or away from site. Bears are rarely seen but it is wild country. Sites have locking garbage lids. Unique and lovely as well as being next to trails and roads to miles of remote spots with very few if any ... people. In Winter we request only AWD vehicles go down to this site or park up by farmhouse and hike in so you can easily get out. When wet park up by the road if you have 2 wheel drive. Always WISE to arrive When LIGHT out as we do not live at the site and are not able to show guests to their sites as a result.

Hussey Mountain Tree Farm

ATFS Certified Tree Farm Est. 2004 Camp with your group at our private Tree Farm / Conservation / Recreation Area. Established in 2004, we are an 87 acre ATFS certified Tree Farm located in the Blue Hills Range in the Foothills to NH’s White Mountains. Choose from one of four unique sites / outdoor spaces to best fit your camping needs; book a combination to reserve a section of the mountain, or book all four sites for total privacy or for events. Our Farm spans the northerly side of Hussey Mountain from the base to the summit. Guests are provided with private access to several miles of multi-use nature trails, multiple scenic lookouts, a three acre PYO blueberry maze, and a dock on our private eight acre pond with available boat rentals. At the 2WD shared parking area guests are provided with a outdoor shower with hot and cold water, a portable toilet, garden hose for washing, a power strip for charging devices, and a spigot with potable water for filling containers. Over two decades ago we created our first campsite for the purpose of hosting family and friends. Folks enjoyed camping on the mountain so much they often would choose our farm over traditional campgrounds. Hosting campers became a regular weekend event, and to accommodate more people we created three more sites spread out across the property. In 2020, we came across the Hipcamp app and started offering private reservations to the public. Since, we have been hosting campers on a daily basis and continuously improving our sites / infrastructure / views. We’re excited to see what the next two decades hold; come join us on the mountain! Things to do on the mountain SPRING-FALL include… Hiking on several miles of maintained nature trails marked with clear signage for easy day/night navigation. Relaxing/taking in the scenery from several scenic lookouts located on and around the mountain’s summit; combined they provide a 360-degree view spanning from the NH/ME Seacoast to the White Mountains of NH, to the Green Mountains of VT. Once this property was part of a large chicken farm, the fields were hayed and still are. The meadow filled with water after logging occurred about 70 years ago creating the swamp. We have a total of 12 sites for your enjoyment, there are a few sites here (Site 1, 5 and Site 12) that allow campers and tow behinds. Others may work We are in central NH only an hour from Boston off of I 93, and less than 30 miles away from the famous Lake Winnipesaukee, we are perched on a picturesque dirt road in the beautiful country town of Canterbury New Hampshire. Whether you are up for just hanging at your campsite, exploring the swamp, picnic in the field overlooking the swamp, visiting the animals, or visiting around town, hiking nearby trials, we are here for your stay! We have easy-to-access rustic style camping accommodations for all sized parties traveling with tents, travel trailers or small campers. All of our sites offer potable water, solar shower bags, parking, fire pits, and a picnic table. Welcome Center! complete with a game section, dry firewood bundles, water, fire starter kits, also, extra supplies for purchase such as drinking water, bug spray and some homemade items, eggs, toiletries and some other items to purchase with cash (honor system) or Venmo or PayPal. The old greenhouse has extra firewood available for your needs, located between 8 and 9 - also some items for you, to use, rent or purchase. Common Area-Strickly foot traffic only, this is a space to enjoy the open sky with a table, firepit and a grill for anyone's use. If you don't want to bring a grill and don't want to cook on grates. It is a first come first serve basis. But maybe your neighbors' will all come and cook with you? Cornhole!! Setup on weekends along the drive and next to the Common Area, find the bags in Welcome Center. The Shelf has many games, please return when not in use. Once you are confirmed an email is sent offering places around this beautiful town that you may visit at your leisure, including Shaker Village, Canterbury Ale works, Canterbury Woods Golf course, Hackleboro Orchards, our own Canterbury Country Store-1 mile away, Cold Garden Sprits is a new small distillery that is fascinating! If you need more city life amenities like grocery stores or restaurants, the capitol city of Concord to the south, and the town of Tilton and Laconia to the north, are a breeze to access and are less than 20 minutes away.
