Weekend Trip to House in a Tree VT

The treehouse and surrounding area were exactly as pictured and even better in person. The water pressure in the outdoor shower was very impressive. If you're wondering whether or not to book it, go for it! The center of Putney and Brattleboro were so easy to access for restaurants and kayaking and returning to the site in the evening to make dinner and relax was absolutely serene and wonderful.

Beautiful private spot! Large stargazing tent with chic decor - so cute! My kids loved playing by the treehouse and seeing the animals (horse, mule, ducks).

The treehouse was so lovely! Beautiful views, kept out both rain and mosquitos, and we used the adjacent dock to put our kayaks in and to catch a fish for dinner!

Weekend Trip to Baker Rocks

We had a wonderful secluded weekend. Everything was clean and pristene. We would absolutely stay again. Check in was easy. The treehouse was cozy..huge...and a luxurious stay. We definitly made some fabulous memories. Oh and the river was absolutly refreshing. Thank you so much to the hosts.

1 night at Quentins Treehouse

The treehouse is absolutely amazing!! What a gem of a place. We went in early June and the weather was perfect. The treehouse blocks most of the wind so even if it's a bit chilly outside, inside temperature is great. The bed is hanging on ropes so you get a nice rocking effect when you lay in it. We had a great time paddle boarding, swimming, and hanging out in the hammock. Quentin also had firewood available for us to use for the Webster grill/fire pit. He was super helpful and responsive before we arrived. Would come back in a heartbeat! We also found some great restaurants nearby for great food and drinks (Cantina 229) and breakfast (Roadhouse).

2 nights at Stone City

What a wonderful place to unwind from the world. No cell service, just WiFi at the main house. The sound of the babbling brook and the soft breeze is extremely relaxing. The treehouse is clean and comfortable. Even has a guitar and plenty of games and books to keep you busy. Or just sit with a cup of coffee or tea and watch the one squirrel peeking up from the rock. Heather’s place is well maintained and she is working hard to keep it clean and safe and all eco friendly. Highly recommended a good long visit.

Weekend Trip to Quentins Treehouse

Me and my buddies came to Quentin’s spot and we had an unforgettable weekend, from chilling by the campfire to voyaging deep into lake Garfield and catching some bass. We can’t thank Quentin enough for his hospitality and we highly recommend this awesome spot for people looking to enjoy a nice camping weekend- the boys DC DAN BEN JITT MARTY AND AZIZ

We had a great stay here. The yurt was spacious, remote, and comfortable, and Shannah had everything very thoughtfully prepared for us when we arrived. The bedding was comfortable. There was plenty of firewood for a nice campfire and there was a nice welcome basket with many helpful things in it. We'll definitely stay here again. It is a quiet and relaxing place to stay.

Weekend Trip to Water Forest Retreat

After a must needed retreat this was the place. Bert and Nancy are the sweetest couple. Upon welcoming Nancy and I met with a warm hug she greeted me, which felt like family. My heart ❤️ goes to this beautiful property. My eyes were in just such gratitude seeing this land. This is a great taste of New England too for 🐟 Nancy and Bert are so kind and generous ☂️multiple things they have already prepared son you can pack less. Bug spray, dishes, soap 🧼. Love the tripod for grilling. We would love to be back. This is a great place to make memories with our family. ✌🏻Don’t forget the Trails! Excited for that next. 🍄🌲

This treehouse is so cozy! The weather during my trip was colder & snowier than I anticipated, so while I didnt explore the trails on the property, this was the perfect place to hunker down with a book in the peaceful quiet of nature. The whole space is so thoughtfully and soulfully designed that it just feels good being there.

5 nights at Wise Pines

We had a fun time at the treehouse, exploring Woodstock and Quechee region. It was quiet and cozy. We had the place to ourselves pretty much, but Chelsey and John are great hosts. John even helped us with our tire! Not something you'd get at a Holiday Inn ;) Chelsey's book and story about hiking the AT was very inspirational to us. We also enjoyed her yoga class; it relaxed us. The place had everything we needed and was easy to navigate. I'd say it was one of the best places we've stayed on vacation.

Pleasant, attentive, detailed hosts! Nancy made sure we are comfortable and showed us everything. She was so prepared, staying at her tree house is like staying in five stars hotel! Clean, all and even more than enough all essential supplies you’ll need to stay comfortable. Easy to reach and communicate if you have any questions. 1 night at Streeter Mountain Farm

We had a good time while staying here, they were very helpful and accommodating. we stayed in the lighthouse which has no heat or electric while it was snowing, we did have our own personal propane heater and made it through the night just fine. it was definitely cold being that its the middle of winter, but they did offer us to stay in the main house with heat we just decided to rough it in the lighthouse and it was absolutely beautiful! the views were great especially in the snow (just very cold)! the walk to the lighthouse was a little rough due to all of the snow but overall it was great, i would definitely stay here again in the summer!

It was fantablious. Nancy and Bert are wonderful. The greeted us with a warm welcome, helped us carry our luggage to the tree house, brought up a tent to put over the fire pit so that we could enjoy a fire at night and cook out without getting wet. 😊
