Tents are also allowed.  There is one dump station as you pull out.      The site also has a private dock to put your boat or other water toys on. With just a short boat ride through the channel you can be out fishing on the mighty Mille Lacs in minutes. There are no waves to worry about in the channel so just tying up to the dock is nice and easy. With the calm waters it is a great place to use your kayak or paddle board, or just some fishing off the dock. There will be a four person paddle boat available for guests, you must bring your own lifejackets for any water activities.  There are also atv or mountain bike trails just feet away from the site. There is a fire pit on site with free split firewood.      We are located 5 minutes south of Garrison, and 5 minutes north of Grand Casino Mille Lacs, and right across the road from Northwood Hills golf course with Charlie’s Bar & Grill.       To launch your boat there are public water accesses to the north and south.

The white area is our property on the river and available for tent only or to hang out for the day if you choose to camp up top. The purple area is where the goats are busy eating. Come and visit them! While the site does not have running water, you’ll be camping right next to our family cabin, and we’re happy to help with anything you might need. We also have friendly goats on the property that guests are welcome to visit! There’s also plenty to explore nearby. Just minutes away, Braham offers a quirky “hole-in-the-wall” bowling alley and some charming local shops. Head north to Pine City for more options, including restaurants, a larger grocery store, and additional shopping. I have stayed at Jubilee Homestead a handful of times over 3 years. It’s a beautiful slice of land to bring my friends and my granddaughters to. The animals, the beautiful barn and owners are all great. Esther answers messages within minutes and is so helpful always. She and her husband have written many books and we bought one on this visit. I’ll be coming back here a few times every year. It’s wonderful to bring my city granddaughters out so they can experience this beautiful country life! Picking apples from trees, touching goats and chickens and just playing at the playground, it’s a sweet slice of country life.

We camped right next to the sheep and cows and my kids LOVED the experience. Christine and Jamie were incredibly warm and welcoming, inviting us to join them in farm chores. There’s plenty of room to roam and animals to visit. We’ll definitely be back and we’ll be sure to bring our boots like other reviewers recommended!

Esther’s property was so beautiful and relaxing! I loved all the chickens, goats and seeing the neighbors’ cows and horses. Also, one of the barn cats literally climbed up in my lap and cuddled into my neck!! So sweet! The little path around their property is cute and the outhouse was so clean and roomy. The cookies at arrival were delicious and I purchased a book (excited to read) and crochet pig from their little store. It was a quick stay but peaceful and relaxing. I would recommend!

We had a wonderful visit at the Jubilee camp. The place is peaceful, fun and beautiful. Many things to do rain or shine. The animals, love how the owners provide information and names of many. The “poop coop” is the best outhouse alive seen yet. And the owners - greeted us upon arrival. Always answered any questions within an extremely short time and I feel went out of their way to make the visit enjoyable. We do hope to visit again next summer!

Weekend Trip to Lazy River Landing

Lazy River campsite was a beautiful location for our family to camp! It was only an hour from the metro area but felt like we were much further out and was very private. There was plenty of space for multiple tents right along the river with a nice fire pit area, kayak and canoe, hammock, and picnic table. It would have been tricky moving all our gear to and from our car to the river area but the hosts were so helpful and assisted us with their 4-wheeler. There was an option to camp right next to the vehicles but we wanted to be next to the water. Outhouse was clean and stocked. Would definitely recommend!

This is indeed a camping spot to be proud of! Obviously much thought went into to creating this amazing spot. A nicely decorated and maintained huge space, evergreens planted for even more privacy, generous DRY wood supply, super clean outhouse with light, table with bench and electricity. The hayfields were mowed and our dog sure enjoyed running over it. There is even a path through the woods. One of our favorite hipcamps, we would love to return.

Weekend Trip to Peaceful & Secluded Sanctuary

We enjoyed our quick weekend stay! The location was near a festival we were attending, and worked out great. There is a short stretch of gravel leading to the driveway, but the site is concrete, flat, and as described. Dave was there to greet us, and get our rig situated. Loved the sunrise and sunset!

Great secluded space! lots of trees on the campsite, ground can be a little uneven just take note. The lake is beautiful, lots of wildlife. Watch your step around the dock, its a little shaky. Could use a bit of landscaping around the picnic tables but Gary came to meet us and talk about the area. Bonus for Goats on the property. Its close to the dirt road when you come off so easy in easy out.
