Pioneer Farm on Fish Lake

Canpers, spring!   Welcome!

 This lakefront farm is a very special spiritual location.   Listen to the nightlife in the woods and loons on the lake.   

The farm animals are gone now, but a huge barn and outbuildings remain. Enjoy observing old-time architecture!

Monet tight?  We are open to a refund of $20 a day for an hour for farm chores.  Chores like mending fences, cutting vegetation, collecting the harvest from the earth, etc.  Pay in full through Hipcamp, then we can arrange a task per interest and capabilities!!

Stone Creek Farm

Situated on 36 acres, this working farm is 2 miles
West of Taylors Falls. Dan bought this property with the intention of growing stone fruits (plums, peaches, apricots and
cherries) using sustainable and organic practices because health and wellness matter to them! They are still in the process of improving their property. Many of the building on the property were in poor condition, including the old barn foundation which is now one of Dan and Danielle favorite places to keep cool in the summer. After they had excavated all the debris (which took years) they were able to transform it with gardens and fire pit for all to enjoy. They love sharing what they have been blessed with! They hope you enjoy their place as much as they do! Feel free to ask them to show you around or even get your hands dirty with them as they plant or harvest.

It is a bit of a trek to the campsite, but Danielle and Dan thoughtfully provided some helpful carts to haul your stuff back.

Dan and Dani gave us a tour of their property, we got to learn a lot about their unique growing techniques, which was a huge highlight of our stay :)

Whippletree Farm & Nature Trail

Welcome to Whippletree! This is our sixth-generation family farm, and while it's more of a hobby farm now, it has been in continuous agricultural production since 1869!

Besides tillable farm land, we are stewards of native prairie, small wooded areas, a remnant of an oak savanna and wetlands, with trails throughout. We consider this our sanctuary and enjoying sharing it with others looking for a place of retreat to connect with the natural world.

Stop by for a visit!

Loft bedroom contains a full sized bed with sheets -- you bring the bedding and/or pilows.

Camp Crimson Turtle

Established by naturalists in the 1920's this parcel features a waterfront cabin (currently being restored), a two acre spring fed pond that is stocked with fish, a small stream and great privacy. We have had this as our family paradise and now we are sharing it with you!

We now offer a bohemian wagon if you would prefer to get up off the ground!  Available at site 1.

8 acres of wooded privacy. Spring fed 2 acre pond, fishing, swimming, boating.  Clothing optional if total site is rented. Extremely private.  Electric available upon request for site number 2, other sites are quite far from electric hook up.  New toilet facilities available!!  We now have a flush toilet and exterior shower available for use onsite.

40 acre farm. 3 horses with a large pasture that has trees and a pond. A wooded area across the road. Old trucks and tractors for pictures and the old farm feel, and lots of wildlife. 

There are miles of gravel roads to walk, bike, and ATV through the county. Dozens of lakes within a couple miles that offer great fishing, boating, kayaking, canoeing, and swimming. 

a few miles from town with shopping, bars, and restaurants. 2 bars and a gas station within 2 miles. Cute cafe just down the road, and a mile from the Pine City rodeo grounds. 

Tenters can camp almost anywhere on the property and be as secluded as you like. Parking for campers/RVs is near the house only, and there is limited water and power access. 

Car/van camping has some flexibility on camping locations in the pasture and fields.
